ya, got it!
Aillex: I readied myself, my eyes on the table containing the weapons i'd be allowed to use. i spotted a spear...a dagger...and a bag of supplies; they were all pretty close to together and i'd be able to get them easily while dodging my enemies.
The sound of the cannon set my legs sprinting across the field. There was a little girl, barely 13, i'd guess in my way. I wanted to shove her aside, but i couldn't--
she shot down an 18 year old boy from district 6. ok, never mind. i shoved her aside, grabbing the three supplies i knew i'd need and high tailing it outta there. I dodged out of hte way of knives and fists to get to the forest.

Li: I sprinted to the cornucopia and snatched up an ax. My manager had told me to run away from the blood bath, but seriously since when did I follow orders. I didn't stop running as I caught up the ax. I bolted into the woods and ducked between the trees. I looped by ax in my belt, caught a low hanging branch, and swung up. I snagged another and climbed up into the tree.
I perched on a branch, completely concealed by the leaves, and peered down. No body. I was alone.

Li: Well this blows. Surrounded completely by water with no friggin' idea how to swim. I took off my shoes--hate the damn things--and chucked one on the nearest lily pad, just in case it explodes into a billion pieces. The trust in me is lacking. Wonder why?
The pad didn't explode so I hoped onto it. Nothing happened. Phew. I crouched down and looked at the others. They were making like hell to the cornucopia.
