Also are they in a band or duo? Doesn't have to be.

Sounds great Smile

Setting a sigh, Tori swung her legs up onto the desk, her guitar on her lap, a pencil poking out of her mouth. She was stuck in a room with Gid knows how many people all wanting a single thing; Apollo's Music School.
The rest of the guys hadn't bothered to fill in the form, they were stuck at home in MD doing some random stuff whilst she took the leap to get a half decent education.
People were all crowded, chatting nervously, singing to impress random strangers and then there was her; acting like her usual self chewing a pencil. To be honest there was only like five people here, they were the only ones that found this place.
Taking her legs off of the table, she plucked a string, itself echoing through the room whilst she started to hum missing words, her eyes looking around, trying to find faces though it was obvious that she knew no one here.

Liam tightly gripped the neck of his guitar. His parents told him to come. He sat their hating to perform in front of people. Singing in the shower had cursed him. He sighed as he looked at his guitar which he had pulled onto his lap.

As the people flowed into the room, she looked at the numbers above the door, each saying a number equating to each person. Herself being '192' and the screen showing '189-191' she was getting ready for her turn.
Standing up, cracking her neck, she closed her eyes to gain a bit of focus before taking the dive.
"!92, please come through," the monitor blasted as the girl nodded, walking through, "193, please come through."
She knew it was that guy that she saw earlier, the one with the guitar and chubby cheeks.

She took a deep breath, the person on stage at the moment being the one before her, she plucked her guitar gingerly before sending a silent prayer.
"I shouldn't have come here..." she whispered mainly to herself but she wouldn't have minded an answer; anything to forget about those peering eyes.
She could handle being in a band just fine, behind her guitar she had the perfect cover, but with no one there, she was in full view.

Liam looked at the paper he was 193. He got up still gripping the neck of the guitar. He saw the stage, and closed his eyes. He could try this, and then maybe leave. He looked at her, and gave her a reassuring look, to bad it wouldin't work on himself.

Tori sighed and walked onto the stage, her guitar hung loose around her neck. Eyes twitching, she bit her lip; she didn't like going solo at all. Period.
"So, what's your name, m'dear?" an older woman asked, a pointed nose with Harry Potter glasses perched on top; since when have they gone back into fashion?
"Tori, Tori Buck," her words surprisingly confident as she nodded, "I'll be singing-"
"Whoa love!" the head of this was there, holding his hand up, "Not until we say, yeah?"
"Will! Let the girl just get through, okay?" the woman nodded, "Please continue."
"I'll be doing 'Famous Last Words' by My Chemical Romance," a small glare heading down to the head before plugging herself into the amp.
"When you're ready..." Will said lazily, waving his hand expecting to hear enough desperate emo girl thinking that she can sing; he was wrong:
Now I know
That I can't make you stay
But where's your heart
But where's your heart
But where's your

And I know
There's nothing I can say
To change that part
To change that part
To change

So many
Bright lights they cast a shadow
But can I speak
Well, is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A life that's so demanding
I get so weak
A love that's so demanding
I can't speak

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey, if you stay I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

Can you see?
My eyes are shining bright
'Cause I'm out here on the other side
Of a jet black hotel mirror
And I'm so weak
Is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A love that's so demanding
I get weak

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey, if you stay I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

These bright lights have always blinded me
These bright lights have always blinded me
I said

I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

'Cause I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

'Cause I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey, if you stay I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey, if you stay I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home
The lyrics flowing effortlessly from her mouth, she saw a grin come to Will's mouth, his eyes filling with those typical dollar signs.
As the song ended, she closed her eyes, her breathing growing slightly heavy, one palm gripping the neck of her guitar as the other steadied the mic.
"Thanks, m'dear...next!" Will called, himself looking right to the woman.
Tori stammered slightly; that was it?! Shaking her head slightly, she walked off the otherside of the stage, sitting on the side to calm herself down a tad; that was harsh.

Liam gripped the guitar, and walked onto the stage.
"Name?" The woman asked.
"Uh, Liam McGinty." He said his deep Irish accent not matching his face.
The man rolled his eyes, as if to say an Irish singer, that's new. "What will you be singing?"
Liam gulped, "Micheal Buble's Home."
"You sure that's in your range?" The woman asked. Liam had a deep talking voice, but when he sang he had a range from deep baritone to somewhere in the middle of the tenor range.
"Yes'm" He replied.
"Well lets here it." The man said.
Liam nodded, he began to play the tune on his guitar. "Another summer day
Is come and gone away
In Paris and Rome
But I wanna go home
Mmmmmmmm

Maybe surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
Just wanna go home
I miss you, you know

And I've been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you
Each one a line or two
I'm fine baby, how are you?
Well I would send them but I know that it's just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that

Another airplane
Another sunny place
I'm lucky I know
But I wanna go home
I've got to go home

Let me go home
I'm just too far from where you are
I wanna come home

And it feel just like I'm living someone else's life
It's like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
And I know just why you could not
Come along with me
Cause this was not your dream
But you always believed in me

Another winter day has come
And gone away
And even Paris and Rome
I wanna go home
Let me go home

And I'm surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel alone
Let go home
I miss you, you know

Let me go home
I'm just too far from where you are
I wanna come home
Let me go home
It'll all be all right
I'll be home tonight
I'm coming back home" He had finished, knowing he did well. He closed his eyes.
"Next." The man said glancing at the woman.
Liam walked of the stage breathing heavily he had never done something so nerve wracking in his life.

(I love that song and I don't even like that kind of music Smile)

"Let me go home..." Tori began singing the song to herself, strumming lightly; she just worked it out listening to the music.
"You were good," she nodded, her eyes smiling at the boy as she continued to strum, the dull metallic sound echoing through the stage slightly.
Standing, she walked off into a new room, all the people that have gone through and passed in here now.
"The name's Tori," her voice mono-toned as usual before taking a seat.
People were all crowded, chatting nervously, singing to impress random strangers and then there was her; acting like her usual self chewing a pencil...again.

(hahaha i like a really good cover it more than buble's actual version)

"Liam." He said following her, he sat on the floor, something he preferred. He was so tall, it felt good sometimes to be near the floor. Plus it always made him laugh inside.

I'll have a look, Spotify might have it Wink... I can only find Westlife and Buble's versions
I just really love the first verse, I could listen to that on repeat forever...

"Cool," she nodded simply, strumming lightly, the song stuck in her head, "You picked a good song to do."
Her fingers plugging the strings lightly, the lyrics, soft and gentle rolled off of her tongue, a few people looked and watched the girl trying to work it out, scribbling down things on her notepad before bursting into the chorus, the whole room copying.
"Looks like most people thought it too..." she smirked, continuing with little effort, standing on a chair, getting a little too over involved into it to be honest, but she could never let down a show, especially if she wasn't the only one singing...

(search on youtube damian mcginty (who this charrie is loosely based off of and find his cover of it)

Liam blushed, "Thanks, but I wasn't as good as half the people here. I mean you were amazing." he said. He didn't handle flattery well, came with being kind of shy, and only singing in the shower or when he was home alone.

not on spotify...Sad BUT HE CAN GO LOW!

Tori shook her head, jumping off of the seat with a sigh.
"Look, first of all you need to get a bit of confidence, you've got a good voice; low..." she nodded, tapping her guitar as the crowd parted.
To be honest he was amazing; she didn't need to lie, just that his presence was a little awkward, plus he couldn't lie for toffee.
"Stick with me and I'll show you the ropes."
With a wink, an organiser stood forth, calling back a few numbers, his and hers included. Dusting off her front, she swung the guitar behind her before being the first person to walk through.

Is it kinda sad if I'm on the edge of tears...?
