Journey : I hold my hand out for her to shake. "Journey. Nice to meet you." as I think about it, Norah is a lot like a sober Noelle. Maybe we'd get along. "So are you from around here or just visiting?" I ask her curiously.

I paused for a moment, pondering on how to answer that question. The thought of moving back in with my sister was positively vomit inducing, and I couldn't stand to be around Danny for more than 5 minutes, so moving in with him was out of the question. Trying to find dad would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack...

"Wherever my music takes me, I guess." I respond after a long moment, drumming my fingers against the bench. I tried the phrase out for size, and decided it sounded good. Sort of vague, but good. I was grateful that she was steering the conversation, not me.

"You?"

Journey : I scratch the back of my head. "Well, I live with my best friend Noelle. We've been here for about a year or so. So, not very long, but long enough to know our way around." I watch her play a short little something on her guitar. I'm no expert, but it was nice. I lean back against the building and look up at the trees. I think about all the things that have wrong since we moved here. Noelle getting mixed up with Vintage, my parents disowning (in the mist literal sense) from the family, Noelle hitting Theo with her car...I grimace. I wonder how he's doing...
"Maybe I can show you around or something," I say, just to break through my own thoughts.

I smile gratefully, shoving the bills in the pocket of my Black Veil Bride sweater. "That'd be great." The air had acquired a bit of a chill as they sat, and Norah casted a glance around her to see that dusk had begun to fall. A stab of hunger pains shot through her, and suddenly she had a flashback of something her mother once said to her.

You're all skin and bones, Norah. Have you been eating lately?

I shook away the painful memory, turning my attention back to Journey.

Journey : I rub my stomach when I growls at me. I pet it and smirk over at Norah. "You wanna grab something to eat? I'll pay," I add, starting to stand up. "I know this killer pizza place a few blocks down. Or there's this one Italian resturant that I just discovered the other day," I look over at Norah expectantly

Before she could even finish, I slid my guitar into it's case.

"Thank you so much." I told her, hoping my gratitude was evident on my face. I was so hungry. "Pizza sounds good."

Of course I'd probably pay for some of it, but it was nice to have a guide to help me find my way around. For a minute, I almost forgot about Hannah.

Journey : as we walk down the Mall (have you ever heard of Denver's 16th street Mall? If so, like that) I point out places that Noelle and I always go to. "Over there is the TjMaxx that I always go shopping in for both mr and Noelle. We could check it out later of you want. Then there's this gellato shop just across the street - have you ever had gellato? It's so good!" I stop to take a breath and hear the sound of a piano. I look over to he blue and gold one sitting under a tree. Ian's sitting there and playing some Beatles song. "Oh, that's Ian. He taught Noelle how to play piano. He's got some mad skills," I grin over at Norah. "Wanna go say a quick hullo?" I ask her.

I never noticed how much there was to do here until Journey started pointing places out. I made a mental note to check out the music shop on Washington St.- I broke my only guitar pic on me; the rest were still at Hanna's.

I shifted my gaze to Ian, the guy that she pointed out taught her friend Noelle how to play piano. He looked very nice, but meeting new people wasn't always easy...

"Sure." I answered before I could stop myself.

Journey : I turn back to where Ian is lost in his music. "Ian!" I call. He looks over his shoulder at me, never missin a note. His light blue eyes widen for a brief moment before smiling.
"Hey Journey," his eyes flick over to Norah. "Who's your friend?" he finishes the song and turns to face us.
"This is Norah; Norah, this Ian." I introduce them. Ian holds out his hand out to her.
"Hey Norah," he greets, his flirt turned on high. I roll my eyes.

(I guess I must take it upon myself to Alert Harlie and Daz about Theo. ARGH!! Jk, lol..)

Miranda:
After Journey left, I decided to call the phone at Matt's house. I had never actually met Daz or Harlie. I always talked to Theo, and then Matt was at my uncles beer garden...
But enough of my pointless rambling. I picked up my maroon EnV and dialed Theo's house. Or more specifically, to talk to Daz or Harlie.

After a couple of rings, a sleepy sounding guy, who I assumed was Daz, picked up the phone.

"Hi. Im guessing your Daz. This is Miranda Dale. Theo's sister. He's in the hospital, and I figured you would want to know."

"Hi," I smiled slightly, not sure what to say next. I wasn't oblivious to his flirting, but it was unusual. Boys from school never gave me attention, and the guys I met at our gigs were only looking for a good lay.

"What song were you playing?" I asked, turning to the piano. His shoulder was blocking the sheet music.

Journey:
"Come Together, Beatles." he's still smiling away. But he turns around to pick the sheet music off the piano. "I just hve a few tough spots to work out," he shrugs, folding the music up. I look between them, then look to Ian.
"We were about to go to Vitolio's for some pizza. Wanna come?" I ask him. He runs his fingers through his dark hair before nodding thoughtfully.
"Yea sure, you guys don't mind?" he glances at me before raising an eyebrow at Norah.

"Not at all." I smiled, reassuring him. It was nice to actually have plans- somewhere to go. Wandering aimlessly was fun for awhile, but the glamor wore off eventually.

Vitolio's sounded like the kind of place that actually sold authentic pizza. Not like the kind where I come from, where the cheese tastes like plastic and the sauce is chunky. Plus, Hanna always ordered deep dish, even though she knew I liked thin crust.

Journey : I relax a little. "Great, let's head over now. Last one there has to pay!" I sing while grabbing Norah's hand and dragging her towards Vitolio's. Ian didn't even get the chance to protest. We were flying through the door just as Vitolio himself was walking up to us. "Hey Vito," I pant. He smirks.
"Journey!" he greets me, pulling me into a huge hug. I pat him on the back. "And you bring a new friend, I see?" his Itlaian accent is pretty thick. I roll my eyes and pull out of the hug carefully.
"Yeah this is Norah," I gesture to her. "This is Vitolio; he's like my mom's cousin or something," I shrug as Ian comes bounding in.
"Not fair, Journ--"
"Ian!" Vitolio cuts him of with a hearty slap on the back. Ian presses his lips together as pain flashes across his face. But he turns to smile weakly at him anyway.
"Hey," he coughs a little. I exchange a look with Norah and I start laughing.

The restaurant was homey- a small, warm shop that smelled like fresh baked dough and ripe tomatoes. There was big clear window on one wall that looked into the kitchen, so you could actually see them making the pizza. I breathed in through my nose, salivating at the thought of taking a bite into that crispy crust...

Freedom said something to me, but I barely heard. Shaking my train of thought away, I turned to Vitolio. He had the typical Italian look to himself- olive toned skin, long dark hair, and dark eyes. His handlebar mustache topped it all off. He wore a white apron that had several stains on the front.

"Hi. You're pizza looks delicious." I complimented him with a small smile.

Journey :
"It's only the best pizza around!" he grins widely. "What would you like?" he asks us.
"Hawiian!" I cry.
"Classic Italian," Ian murmurs, rubbing his stomach wistfully.
I turn to Norah. "Vito can make almost any pizza known to man," I say to her.

I cock one eyebrow, a dubious smile spreading across my face. "Any? I doubt it." I said, my tone skeptical. I noticed that somewhere along my time with Journey coaxed me a little bit out of my shell. Something Hanna was never able to do.

{Well, Journey and Norah are getting dinner with Ian, but I'm not sure about anyone else...}

Well, last time I was on I was outside of Daz's house getting an autograph with Bari's charrie. Is he still there or will I have to appear else where?

Journey : I shrug, following after Ian as he scopes out an empty booth and jogs to it before someone else takes it. I glance over my shoulder at Norah. "Get the pepperoni if nothing else; Ian will thank you for it since he's paying." I add with a grin.
"What?! Who ever said I was paying?!" Ian calls from the table. I roll my eyes and continue walking toward him.
"You were last to get in here, so you pay..." sometimes.
