Jakai: "Ash, seriously. I really don't want to have to do this. I mean, this is Glee club, for godsake." I grumble, but allowing him to drag me along.
"Oh don't worry you're little whiny ass about it. I bet you won't even get in," he snorts. I purse my lips, glaring at the back of Ash's head. I oughta kill that boy. I roll my eyes, glad this was an after school thing and no one else was around to see me.
"What are you even singing?" I snap as we get to the door. He looks at me over his shoulder with a half smile.
"Oh, you'll see."
I sort of guessed it already since he had his guitar with him. I sigh. Here we go...

Aliandra:

Mr. Shuester looked up hearing two students walking in. I turned to them, away from 'Miss Priss' Rachel. I smile at them. "Hey." Wait, Jakai? What the hell!?

Jakai: I force a smile, then shoot a glare over my shoulder as some guy pushes his way through. Some emo kid. "Watch it," I snap at him. He totally ignores me. Figures.

Ash: I wave to everyone. "Hey, this is the auditions, right?" I ask, getting a 'no duh,' look from my sister. I shove her shoulder playfully. "We're both gonna try out.

Karter: I glance over my shoulder at the dark haired girl. Whoops, my bad. I look around at everyone else. God, this dare is so not worth my time, I think blandly as I flip my hair out of my face a little more.

Aliandra:

I smirked at Ash, "Wouldn't think you'd be the one joining." I say. We talked a couple times. I looked at Mr. Shue who nodded, "Yeah." He waved everyone off of the stage then whispered to me, "After them I want you to think of a song to do that's similar to the Duet you did with Sapphire." I smirked, "Easy enough." I took a seat.

Jakai: I gesture for Ash to move up onto the stage. Idiot. I take a seat on the edge, making sure I wasn't near Mr. Skater Boi over here. I don't want him hitting me with his board or anything. I look up at my brother. He was a good singer, maybe this won't be so bad.

Ash: I take my time unpacking my electric guitar. I pet it fondly once before slipping the strap over my head and plugging it into a nearby amp. I test out the sound, turning it down just so that I won't get too much feed back. I look to Jakai expectantly. She doesn't get it at first, then she hops up onto stage and walks silently over to the piano. I wait until she's ready and then start.

I clapped along with everyone else, grinning. Not bad Ash, Not bad.

Ash: I bow dramatically, raising a fist for a pound to Jakai. She half smiles and complies. I grin, backing off as she gets up to the mic. I look around, then sneak over to the drummer and tell him the song choice for Jakai.

Jakai: Okay, so i wasn't one to perform in front of others, but this was alright, you know? Just a few students, and yeah... I tap the mic, then glance over my shoulder for Ash to start. He thought it would be cool if he started out - what a spotlight hog, jesus - and then I'd bring out the chorus and what not. And the moment he starts out with the rapping verse, I'm smiling. I love this song.

I really think I did pretty well with it, and performing with my brother is the best. As I've learned from today.

I blinked, surprised at Jakai. Nice.. I suddenly got the song that I wanted to sing in my head.

Jakai: As my brother and I start to walk off stage, stepping down the stairs, I nod at tall, lanky, and depressed. "Hey, your turn," I half smile at him. He looks miserable. Obviously, he wasn't so over joyed at this either.
"I'll let you use my guitar, Karter," Ash puts in, waving the instrument around like some treat. I roll my eyes. So emo-boy is Karter. I let out a deep breath. Hm.

Karter: I force through a small smile and take the guitar, swinging it over my shoudler.
"Yo! Watch it! She's my favorite." Ash calls to me. I give him a look as I plug her back in.
"Right," I say back calmly as I tune it quietly. I clear my throat at the microphone. "Um, I'll be singing...Nerve Damage." I say into the mic, wincing as it squeaks a little. Then I start playing.

Karter: I look up through my hair expectantly, not sure what to do next. They apparently liked it. They were clapping. I half smile, slipping the guitar over my head and stepping off stage. I meet up with Ash again.
"Man, where'd you learn to sing?"
I shrug a shoulder, smiling crookedly. "I guess I just have. My mom's a choir teacher over at South High...so yeah."

I look at Mr. Shue who grinned, "So Aliandra. Do you have another song?" I grin, "As a matter of fact. I do. But I need my guitar first." He grinned, shocked. "Alright well go go!" I laugh and run off fast. I grab my guitar which was in the office and go back to the Auditorium. I walk in and lay my Gibson Electric on the stage, opening the case. I take out the black guitar and walk onto the stage. I plug in my guitar and tune it to the song.

Jakai: I curl up on one of the chairs of the auditorium, watching as the girl walks up on to the stage. Nice guitar...I bet Ash is salivating as we speak. I glance over at him. I was right. I roll my eyes back to the stage. Just...wow. And that singing kid? Very nice...sort of cute, in a way.

Sapphire: I watched as everyone took turns again with more songs. I clapped after each one. I looked at Aliandra as she went and did another song. It was good, probobly better than what I could do. I was good at going high and holding my breath on a note for an unimaginable length, but I had skill. She was down right awsome. I clapped after the song cheering her on.
