Rachel Colegate:

My mind was going wild, my first lesson was power control, it was a mixed class of all ages.
People were sprouting flames, others metal, some changing shape?
Was I really half elf?
"Are you okay?" Kai sat next to me on a bench I was watching from.
"Yeah I guess, this is just... all so different" I said watching in amazement as he played with a ball of fire in his hand.

[Charlie]

Everheart, came into control of powers class I bit late. He slipped down in a chair in the back of class. No need to draw attention to himself.

[Gifty]

Jasmine: I walked through the hallways wondering were my classes were, I was utterly lost. I looked around and saw a classroom with lots of people in it. I walked in.

[Cali]

Alice looked up from the ball of fire that hovered in her hands like an orb. She looked around then shook her head, thinking to herself. She returned her gaze to the fireball watching it as if she were in a trance as it started to crystalize.

"Hey Everheart" Kai called to a boy nearby "Late as usual" he casually threw the flame and ate it for mere fun, knowing I was watching in amazement.

[Charlie]

"Yeah, these morning classes are killer." Everheart said.

Alice looked over her shoulder at Ev and smirked, "What's your 'excuse' this time?" She joked, a playful look glimmering in her green eyes.

[Charlie]

"My alarm didn't go off." Ev replied. This was totally untrue he didn't have an alarm. But it always worked as an exuse for the teachers, and most of the students.

Jac Archer:

I pad lightly into power control class, pillow and shoes in hand. A small smile is on my face as I look over all the students, trying to find a relatively empty corner for my afternoon zazen session, they always helped me focus my powers.

[Gifty]

Jasmine: I looked around fire. Heat no I was water. Where was I supposed to go? I sat down in the back and just waited to get yelled at by someone.

[InioMika]

"As usual" Kai smirked, "This is Rachel" he gestured to me, I smiled shyly, these were his friends?
"Hey" I held up my hand for a second in greeting.
"She's the girl I found in Chicago" he so casually mentioned.

[Charlie]

Ev nodded to the two newcomers, and smiled. He hated being so different. This class was difficult for him, none of the teacher new exactly how to teach him. He began tracing his name on the table with his finger. What appeared was Everheart in cursive silver.

Jasmine: I looked around, people staring at my eyes. One was green with a gold ring around it, the other blue with a silver ring around it. Everyone stared at them all the time, I was used to it.

[InioMika]

I couldn't help but notice a girl in the back, she had strange coloured eyes, then there was even someone who had a pillow.

[Gifty]

Jasmine: I looked at the fire Elves and smiled they were astonished by their power my care taker had tough me some a few days before coming here. I knew how to pull water out of the air. It was hard but I could do it, a little more practice and it would be easyer!

[InioMika]

"Alice be careful with that thing will ya?" Kai nodded at the fire she had, he was an all fire elf so he had a tendancy to not trust the powers of those who could use fire elements who weren't Fire elves.
"Ev, teacher ain't here yet, so don't worry" he added

[Charlie]

Everheart then melted the metal having it be drawn back into his skin. A feeling he would never get used to. When metal entered of left him it felt like a quick burn, but when it stayed it felt like his bones were being crushed or broken.

As I set down my cushion I catch the eye of a girl I don't recognize, and offer a smile before sitting cross legged. I breath deeply in concentration, before starting I pull out a few seeds from my pocket, letting them grow in my hand. The stems wrap around my arm, their thorns careful not piercing my skin. In a few moments red roses bloom, vibrant and beautiful. Its why I loved my power, to create something so amazing.

Roses suddenly bloomed all along the pillow guys arm, I blink twice not sure I had just seen what I saw.

"Alright calm it, at least sit down will you" A tall male man with long silver gray hair tied back in a pony tail walked in, he must be our teacher Mr. Tyden I realised. (teachers are community characters?)

"Your seats at the back" Kai nodded to the chair next to the girl with the strange eyes and the boy with a pillow, I was sat inbetween them, great.
"Where are you?" I asked a little afraid, all I had known was a human life afterall.

"At front with these two" he gestured to he girl Alice and boy Ev "You'll be fine, don't worry" he messed up my hair with his hand.
"Alright" I mumbled moving over to my seat as he did his.

I see the teacher walk in frowning, looks like I'd push back zazen a bit longer. Willing the roses the come off my arm so I can set it next to me to plant for later. The girl I'd smiled at early comes and sits next to me. "Hello." I say lightly, "Your new around here I'm guessing?"

[Charlie]

Ev got and moved to his seat at the front of the class, a place he didn't want to be. He sat down, and began drawing his name again.

[Gifty]

Jasmine: I smiled at her. then went back to finding water in the air. I t was pretty dry here and there was almost none. I frowned, did they do that on purpose?

[InioMika]

"Ev, quit it, you know Tyden don't like us using powers till his say so" Kai whispered sitting beside him, he couldn't wait until Mr Tyden gave his first speech then just let the class leave their desks and do as they pleased with their power. He wasn't the best teacher


"Er yeah" I speak to the guy on my right "Rachel, Kai brought me here" I told him matter of fact. would it be strange to them if i was raised human?
