Okay don't know if I can join as an elf but I'll post something anyway.
Nimaya:
I brushed past the tons of people in the market, my long black cape of my hooded cloak flowing against the cobbled floor, my hood hiding all of my features.
I recieved curious looks at my attire, a well built sword with a strong hilt at my thighs, my hand gripping the girth. My black animal leather trousers and suitable thick cotton tight sleeved top, cords decortating down the middle, tied tightly together keeping it on. My cloak covered most of me, however when I moved it swayed revealing my body and its tall 6ft curveless slim figure.
I peered around at my surroundings, many people were selling items, no doubt already loosing their wallets to the urchents that stole to survive. I frowned at the dirty orphaned children I passed, the kingdom had already began to fall into an unbearable povety.
The king was as hopeless at ruling his people as presumed when he banished my people, The elves. If it would be my death, I swear I will de-thrown him for this vile treatment of his lands, for his unforgivable banishment of my people.
A sharp cry echoed from one of his soldiers, I crouched gripping my second sword as well out of reflex.
"Capture her, the king wants her alive" A man I recognised came into view his finger pointing directly at me. I snarled turning on a hilt running as fast as my elegant legs would take me, a team of soldiers hot on my tail.
Damn, I thought I had lost them back in the town Galen when I had killed several of their men and stolen a fair amount of money. Looks like they held a grudge for me, the night mistress. I grinned, in the south of the kingdom I had already earned a mighty repuation for killing soldiers and stealing their prides worth of money.
Luckily they had no idea I was a Elf, or I really would have a high bounty.

Re: Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))
The crowds passed as she watched, her skeletal ands venturing into the deep pockets of her skin-tight trousers, the simplest place for hiding the goods. Her Katana, held loosely to the side, she fingered the intricate work of the guilding; a mighty fine sword it was. Biting her lip, she slipped it under her trench coat, making sure that she wouldn't lose the element of innocence, something that was held so dear to the girl.
Slipping out, she managed to get hidden in a small crowd talking about a cloaked figure just running through; her interests suddenly raised, this will be...new. She strode back out, looking at the streets from underneath her hood, "This way, shortcut," her words were whispered and rather like an assassins though she was one.
With one last glance, she slipped into the alley and waited for her interception. Leaping from roof to roof was no problem for her; she was used to the more dramatic escapes least to say. Grabbing onto a window, she peered down on the street; empty. Soon enough, and after a swig from her flask, she smiled as the cloak drifted through the streets, one that fitted the description exactly. Judging whether to jump down or not was the next question, but she sat and waited; a bigger booty for the more trouble she causes anyway.

i was too fast for mere humans, within minutes I was running too far ahead of those soldiers, no blood shed was necassery in the view of civilians. I turned down an alleyway hiding in within the shadows, my black cloak melting in to the darkness.
The soldiers carryed on by, leaving me to myself. I relaxed my hands from my two swords, checking the dagger lodged in my boot was still secure before quickly blending back in within the crowd. I still needed to buy a new dagger for my left boot.
Finding a rather interesting silver smith I browsed the pure silver daggers they had, I strange creation.

Re: Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))
Violet smiled as she slipped down a pole, landing with a light thud, her face still covered by the shadows her hood had brought. With a slight click of her tongue, a jet black hawk landed on her shoulder, silent as night still. The silver smith was always a good place to steal from, they always had rich people lining up outside. Spotting the cloaked figure, she decided on her next target.
"Oh! Sorry!" she bumped into the woman on passing, making her hood fall back, a distraction at eye level did well when her hand easily slipped into her pocket, taking what gold she had along with a dagger; her own were fine but she needed one's to throw, "Sorry, my fault," she flicked her hood back up as she slipped the goods into the coat pocket, a cloth in the bottom so it didn't make a sound as it hit, "I best be off then, sorry..." she flipped the hood back up and started to walk off. Easy. Too easy.

To think I had just pityed her kind. Foolish human.
I grabbed the thieves shoulder jerking her back, keeping my hood down hiding all of my features. My grip on her shoulder was unmovable.
"I advise, you give back which does not belong to you" my voice was low, elegant yet threatening, full of piericng strength. I gripped the hilt of my right sword making sure she saw I meant to pull through with my threat if she did not do as I say.

Re: Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))
"What? I said sorry," she held herselr strong, her eyes blazing beneath the shadows of her hood. A smile hit her face as her bird returned to her, him landing on top of the bag, clutching the money in his talons, "Seriously, some people just don't get that..." she murmured to herself as the bird flew away again, the sack completely hidden on him; if anyone saw it it would have just looked like Violet would have just shooed it away.
With a shake of her head, taking the cloaked figure's hand off of her, she smiled as se realised the hawk had left a...treat there, it now on the girl's hand; she could tell it was a female from the voice. This was gonna be easy still.

Nimaya:
I had never expierence anger for a human other than the king, now it began to sizzle within me. I pulled out a third dagger tucked inside my belt and threw it in such a fast motion that it pierced the birds wing, leaving it to fall to the ground.
I quickly gripped the girls shoulder again, digging my other dagger out of her hidden compartment before gracefully leaving her, walking through the crowd to where the bird fell. Picking up the bird I took the bag from its claws, nothing escapes an elves eyes.
"Stay where you are!" A voice called as I did, the soldiers had returned, and I hadn't even managed to buy a fourth dagger for my left boot yet. What a troublesome matter.
They engulfed a circle around me, making me sigh as the public stared. This was going to be messy. So very unelegant.

With a shake of my head, I clicked my tongue, the bird turned to ash under her foot, a smile appearing on my semi-pressed lips. Walking over to the circle, Violet couldn't help but smile, "You deserve it me dear..." the crooked grin slowly dissolved when she looked at me. With a click of her tongue and a gust of wind, the ash flew through the air, her bird returned to her shoulder, "Good Silvtrin, good phoenix."
I've decided to do that, if the creator of this thread doesn't like it, that bird was staying alive!

That human was lucky I had more important matters to handle right now. These soldiers didn't know who they were dealing with, to them I must be seen as another mere thief who needs to be arrested.
Standing strong, I sheathed both of my swords, the metal gleaming in the afternoon sun. I held them by my waist and waited, It is uncivil to make the first move.
All twelve of them charged at me, so they planned to fight in numbers? The most trustworthy attack against me for ones as weak as they were.
I moved my blades in a twirling motion cutting through skin like a knife in butter. The soldiers didn't even manage to get close to me before they all fell to the ground impaled, rupters to their stomachs.
I re-sheathed my swords safetly back within my belt. I hated to spill innocent blood, they were just following orders after all. However their persisitance was the cause of their deaths. I eyed the thief I had grown a dislike for, she looked on at me, I could never deciver the human emotions on a face. I wonder what my brutal and fast killing of these twelve proffesional soldiers made her think?
Oh well it was not my trouble, I had to go back to my buisness. To by a new dagger, and deliever that man's letter, he had put his trust in me.
I straightened my back, moving back towards the silver smith, ignoring the thief, the daggers there really were attractive with their embedded jewels.

Alejandra: Since I could see from above, I could see what the pair were heading to. There seemed to be a commotion. Soldiers. I kept on following the pair hoping... yes! They were both almost there. this would be excellent. And there seemed to be a good lot of victims in waiting. I grinned at the first bit of luck that had fallen my way for ages. This would be interesting...

Re: Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))
Flicking her dagger around, she smiled as the bird took off again, silver was always a high seller on the black market. Letting out a sigh, the air around her swirled out from the cold air. Violet stood up and went into the shop, tapping n the desk, "Heya Harls, is you're father in?"
A slender teenager walked up to her, a frown on his face, "You owe us."
"Nothing, I mean, I come on, I never said anything-"
"You said that you were gonna give us that little pretty gem from the other day."
"Nah, didn't get it, pesky soldiers were on my tail too close, I was a millimetre away then she turned. I really needed that brooch!" she smashed her hand on the glass cabinet.
"Hey, calm down," he put his up, "Look, just next time get us something, or we'll be reporting you."
"Of course you will," she rolled her eyes and smiled, "Anyway, I have this," she pulled out a small box with a smile, "Emeralds inlaid in silver," she pushed forward a simple looking bracelet in a box, "And pure silver," she pushed forward a charm bracelet with a smile, "Two young girls, didn't have a clue."
"One of a kind?" he picked up the latter and smiled.
"Dunno, I asked them to make sure," she looked at him and smiled, "Anyway, could you do me a favour?"
"Sure," he shrugged, "Depending."
"Give her nothing," she whispered, "She's bad news..."
"And you're not?" he laughed, taking the boxes with a smile, "Anyway, here we go," he put down a few small sacks of money, "You owe me though, that'll do you for weeks!
She shrugged and slipped the bags into her pocket with a smile and a nod.

I chose a rather splendid dagger, it had red jewels encrusted on the handle, a rare find.
"How much do you wish for this?" I walked up to the counter of the silver smith to a stout man, the thief had just been talking to him.
I kept my voice low, and unemotional, how does one try to bargain down a price again now?

"These? Not for sale m'love!" he tapped the desk, "At least you couldn't afford something like that with the cash you've got," he laughed hard and deep, taking a glance to it; one of Violet's finest steals, similar to ones she owned herself.

"Why do you display them if they are not for sale?" I raised my eyebrow though he couldn't see. "Tell me the price" I continued, I was going to have this dagger, I had just lost my finest one in the back of one annoying man not too long ago.

"Fine wares like that are meant to be displayed for glory, not for sale!" he repeated, almost about to roll his eyes. He looked over at Violet who touched her Katana twice; signals were something that he made her learn, in case there was ever something wrong, "If you persist I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."

I didnt miss how the theif had stayed within the shop, not buying anything or really browsing, did she plan this as a payback for not being able to steal from me? Bitter human.
I took out the bag she had attempted to take, if she had taken it I would have taken her life. It took me a great deal to obtain these. Opening the bag, the thief no doubt thought was filled with gold, I took out one rare medium green emerald from the bunch and placed it on the counter.
"For the dagger" I informed pocketing the bag again.

Alejadra: The cloaked person took out the soldiers and continued on with their business. I decided then to drop the case of those two I had been following, and see what this was. I stole down from the roof, and scurried through the throngs of people. At the silversmith's was the cloaked person, and someone else, but obviously a thief. I slipped my hand into the pocket of someone who was near me, and dropped the object in my own pocket. I'd check it later. I crept into the silversmith's and came in unseen...

His eyes peered over to Violet who was in between a scowl and a glare, she tapped her arm once and swore at the guy, before walking up to the counter, looking at the small locket there, "Umm, Rico," she looked at the small boy at the side.
"Vivi! What?" he smiled as she rolled her eyes.
"That one if you please my good man!" she loved to play around with the kids, the twins providing the most fun.
"Oh! The locket!" he shouted as he slid it out with care, placing it on the mat, "Twenty."
"Twenty?" she looked at Harls who just nodded.
"It's not worth anything," he looked back to the girl, "This sparkler," he took out his magnifine glass and smiled, "And that bag of gold anit's yours."

Re: Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))
I scowled deeply, this man knew nothing, that jewel was an elvish valuable, I had gone to great lengths with my family to allow me to take them with me for expense. A noble Elf Jewel was worth far more than this simple dagger. He would be recieving a bargain, he probably hadn't seen one before however.
"You are a failure of silversmith, if you are not being corrupted by that bitter thief over there. Do you realise what it is I am offering you? No, you probably don't from it's rareity, an elfish jewel is something far too precious for a silversmith who can't even identify its worth. As you do not wish to earn a great valuable to your collection, many men seek out with their lives for. I shall leave and offer my buisness elsewhere. The loss in the end is only yours" I picked up the jewel and left the dagger in front of him.
If he came to his sense's he would take the offer, an elven jewel is worth more than most of the things in this shop. I wasn't even going to argue with him whether they were mine or not. To say how I have them would be troublesome.
