Cloud: I laughed quietly and pressed my forehead against hers. I couldn't speak, so overwhelmed was I by relief that she was alive.

That's right!! Hahah, I was so sad when her other charrie died. Wasn't her name drew or something???


Tifa:

I weakly smiled up at him before whispering, "I'm sorry." My smile turned into a frown and the happiness that lit up my tired eyes diminished, being replaced by tears and guilt.

dru is short for drusilla, the vampire who sired spike and who angelus made mental. winfred berkel is the girl whose body illyria stole. fred for short. she was so adorable!! i loved her. the end to angel was so sad i just watched today. but it was also totally epic!!

Cloud: I kissed her forehead. "For what?" She had saved our lives. Granted I hadn't really liked her methods, but she had saved us.

agh =.= i have to get off!! the world is so unjust. i have such a huge russian test that i have to study for. so much for free time this weekend. or any other weekend for that matter. i'll try to be on more often. i really miss chatting

Tifa:

"Because I hurt you." I whispered, feeling some of the tears fall from my closed eyes. I couldn't look at him. I was afraid of myself. I didn't even know if all of Sephiroth's power and control was out of me.

Cloud: "Tifa? Look at me, please." I wanted to see her beautiful brown eyes once more. "You saved us Tifa; you saved us all. Please look at me."

[Cali]

Tifa: I looked up at him, my eyes filled with sadness and tears. The tears slid out of my eyes, down my cheeks, and dripped off my chin.

ohhh okay i must be imagining things! lol phew

Cloud: I leaned down and kissed the tears from her cheeks.

Tifa: I pulled away a little before looking into his eyes. I slowly then sat up, the tears still running down my cheeks. I didn't bother to stop them. I then found myself leaning towards him as my hand, bloodied, scratched up and broken, lifted onto his cheek. I then kissed him, letting him know that I remembered telling him how I felt. I remember telling him that I love him. And I still did.

Cloud: I leaned into the kiss. Her mouth tasted of blood, but I ignored it. I rested my forehead against hers as the kiss ended. "I love you, Tifa Lockhart," I found myself whispering.

Tifa: My breath got caught in my throat. I remembered telling him that but I didn't get to hear him say it. I smile, tears sliding out of my eyes. "I love you too, Cloud Strife."

Cloud: I laughed softly and kissed her again. I didn't want to be anywhere but here.

(cool! what video game? i'm currently trying to figure out a character for an RPG that i'm gonna play with my brothers. i'm looking at ff charries to help me get an idea. i what a memorable character and one who's sort of out there, you know? gah i just can't think of anything >.>)

Tifa: I laughed too and kissed him back as the tears continued to fall. but they were no longer of sadness and pain.

Cloud: I kissed the tears from her cheeks and stared down at her. "How do you feel?" I asked. I couldn't ignore that fact that she had almost died today even though i just wanted to sit here kissing.

Tifa: I looked up at him before shrugging a little. "I-....I really don't know. I mean, I...died...in a sense. But I came back...and here we are... I guess I'm okay but...I kind of just want to be here with you..Truthfully, you're the only one that makes me feel safe...."

Cloud: I smiled and kissed her forehead. "You are safe--with me and you always will be. I'll keep you safe; I promise."

Tifa: I smiled and just hugged him, the tears finally coming to a stop. I closed my eyes and whispered, "Thank you; for everything." I pulled away and looked up at him. I smiled but before anything was done, there was an explosion outside that made all windows shatter. The sound was deafening, as if a flashbang had ignited next to us. Smoke filled the room, causing us to cough and gag. Arms grabbed me and pulled me back. I struggled but was thrown into a wall. I coughed up smoke and ash as I got up shakily. "Cloud!?" I yelled.

Cloud: Something--maybe the butt of a gun--smashed into my face. I grunted from the pain and scrambled for Tifa. "Tifa," I choked. Hands grabbed my arms and flung me off the couch. I slammed into the wall and collapsed. Deafened and blinded I couldn't do anything to fight back, but I tried anyway. My weak effort to push myself to my feet was thwarted with a boot colliding with the side of my skull.
I fell back against the floor. A blackness deeper than my temporary blindness induced one crawled over me. I gasped for air. "Tifa!" I cried again. I had sworn to protect her only seconds ago! I pushed against the blackness, struggling for something light.
Spots floated in front of me as my head slowly cleared. Pain lanced through me as I twisted my head around. The cloying blackness still hung around me. "Tifa." I had to find her. I had to stop them.

[Cali]

Tifa: He yelled my name, I could finally hear it. "Cloud, where are you?! Are you okay?!" I choked out. I struggled to stand up, swaying as I continued to cough up smoke and ash. A fist slammed into my chin, causing me to fall onto my back. Someone grabbed the front of my top, pulled me up and pushed me against the wall. They bashed my head in, causing me to temporarily blackout. I felt myself slump against the wall as I easily regained consciousness. The same person I presumed grabbed the front of my top and slammed me against the wall yet again. I grunted and struggled but his arm went around my neck tightly. I still struggled with all my strength. I broke free and blindingly slammed my elbow into the person's throat.

Cloud: At last regaining my strength, I shoved myself to my feet. A fist went for my head, but I already had my arms up to block. The fist connected with my forearm. I heard a surprised grunt. Before my attacker could move, I twisted my arm around and grabbed his wrist. I yanked him forward, at the same time swinging my other hand, this one balled in a fist, at his head. The result was a resounding crack and an unconscious attacker. I dropped him to the floor and did a quick survey of the room. Tifa stood at the far side and had just slammed her elbow into her attackers throat. Before I could call out to her. A boot slammed into my ribcage. Maybe I should have checked for badguys first. I spun around punched the guy who had attacked me. He went down immediately.

[Cali]

Tifa: I spun around only to have a fist collding into my chest, where I was stabbed. I cried out and fell to my knees, gasping for air. A foot collided with my face, sending me to my back. I groaned, my nose broken and bleeding profusely. I weakly went onto my side but ended up getting a foot slamming into my stomach. I coughed up blood.

Cloud: "Tifa!" I shouted. I grabbed a man by his shirt and flung him into another before attempting to run to Tifa's side. Two man pounced on me. I dropped to the floor and rolled away from them only to come to rest beneath the coffee table. They recovered quickly and rounded on me. I kicked the table at them. It hit them both squarely in the chest and they fell backwards. I jumped to my feet, grabbed the lamp from the table next to the couch, and threw it at the head of the man who had hit Tifa. He stumbled slightly and I pressed my advantage. I ran forward and kicked him in the back. He slammed head first into the wall. "Tifa." I dropped to my knees at her side and grabbed her shoulder.

[Cali]

Tifa: I weakly let out a struggled loose cry of pain as I gritted my teeth. I struggled to sit up, everything was hurting. I opened my one good eye, which wasn't blackened nor swollen shut, to see two other men, the barrels of guns in front of our faces.
