The Quiet Scares Me 'Cuz It Screams the Truth

I was listening to the above song the other day. It gave me an idea for a chat.

There is a group of children; some would call them psychics, some would call them prophets, some would call them freaks. Why this massive range of labels? These children are special. They are the Silent Ones. Oddly enough, the Silent Ones are the ones who most often disrupt classes in school, the ones who are always talking, the ones who seem to hate silence. It is not that they fear Silence itself, they fear what happens during it. When all is quiet, the Silent Ones recieve visions. They see the cause of past tragedies, they see things happening now elsewhere in the world, they see the future. They know the truth.

The Silent Ones write down or draw pictures of their visions in notebooks, and then try their best to forget about them. These notebooks, called Tomes of Truth, remain secret, their contents known only to the Silent One who wrote them. Now, someone has been attempting to steal the Tomes of Truth.

The children have to band together and stop this unknown foe. If someone other than a Silent One were to read the Tomes, they would have power enough to destroy the foundation of all society and, ultimately, the world.

I have a character that would be perfect for this, but she teleports, and teleporting is part of her personality lol, if that makes any sense :p she is about 6 years old

Ivy Monroe
nine year old fairly immature girl, never gets upset, and is always laughing, whether the situation is serious or not. Her drawings from her visions are very comical, and she adds comical things to the others if they are too serious.
She has long straight and shiny black hair which finishes at her lower back, and a thick full fringe which covers her eyes if she looks down. She wears different styles of clothes everyday, and is very eccentric. It isn't unusual for her to be wearing a flowy dress when it's pouring with rain. Or a ski suit in a heatwave. One thing you must know, is that you must never, ever tell Ivy that she is wrong. She likes to tackle and bite people that she doesn't like, as well as forcing her pet raven, Tammo, to attack them. Tammo always sits neatly on her shoulder, and is her best (and possibly only) friend.

Let's just say that she is the sort that everyone wants to slap, but doesn't want to look bad or feel guilty.

Aribella {Ari} Selina D'Angelo takes on the typical Italian appearance, just as her heritage proves. Her olive toned skin contrasts with her dark, rib length curly hair and deep green eyes. Her features are sharp- high cheekbones, thin pale lips, and a slightly upturned nose. Being a short 5"3, she's rather undeveloped in the bosom department compared to her other classmates. But it's her telephone cut scar extending from the corner of her eye to her jaw that is, secretly, her biggest insecurity. People seldom ask about it, but she often get's strange looks or whispers in the hallway, which is a lot more difficult to handle.
Being a Silent Child, she must constantly speak, but finds herself to be a rather poor conversationalist, ironically. She would much rather spend her time illustrating or attempting to decipher her visions. Ari may be considered the brains of the group- the observant, logical thinker. She believes that everything is logic, so when the completely illogical happens- like the never ending mystery of the Silent Children, she might as well be no use. There's no "What if's" in her book, compared to her younger sister, who questions everything. No book or even oldest mythological story can begin to explain the real story behind them, and that thought in itself drives her insane. She often spends her nights lying awake in bed and recapping her encounters with people, wondering why they say or do certain things. Being a natural born skeptic, her and her sister are like hot and cold. However, what Ari must learn is that in some situations, 1 plus 1 does not always equal 2.
Aribella was born on October 16th, and is 15, nearly 16 in one month, old. Though she often acts mature for her age, instead of wearing short skirts and cleavage bearing tank tops, Ari believes in wearing conservative clothing, such as her comfortable tee shirts and plain denim jeans. Life in her opinion is not about being glamorous.
Her visions are of the Future, which is a rare quality even for a Silent One to possess. Most of the others see current events, which Ari believes may be an even more important power. She likes to treat each of her "brothers and sisters" with equal importance.
Flaws- Has a hard time trusting people, can be too skeptical at times.
Highest features- Good getting her and the group out of predicaments, very protective over the ones she holds close, especially her younger sister, Ivy.
