June: I attempt at ripping some of his shirt sleeve off, so I can tie it around his other bleeding arm or use it to soak up some of the blood. But it's not working. I frown and reluctantly tear off my thread scarf (it's just a bunch of different cool threads made into a scarf thing(: so cool ^^) and tie it around his arm tightly. He winces as I tighten it.

(Hmm, I actually have something underground called the diorail, but none of Chantrea's population know about it unless they've been to Resurrection.)

I hadn't really talked to Malachi - my brother - for a few years now, so it was going to be really weird...but this was important. Sort of. I recite, feeling dread crawl its way into my brain and burrow itself ever deeper. You could say I chose between Austin and living the life I do now. So, basically, him or my parents. They don't exactly get along. Thus the whole Underground business. I glance over at Autumn. "Austin. You probably have never met him, huh? I guess it's been a while..." I add, trailing off before I spill everything.

June: I try shrugging it off as we get up to the corner. "Yeah, been a while. A few years. No big deal. I'm sure he'll help," I assure her. I look back to the guy we'd saved. "So Rivanna Klein's beau, what's your name?" I ask, forcing all bitterness out of my voice. He blinks, his face still twisted up in agony. Doesn't look like he'll be answering any time soon. I dig in his front pockets for a wallet or something. I find his ID. Coal Ford. I suppress a smirk. That's how he spells his name? Wow, you'd never guess...I mean, this kid has dirty blonde hair for pete's sake! But whatever. "Well Coal, think you can walk?" I ask with fake cheeriness as the car comes to a stop. He gives me a glare and I lean over him to open the door.
