Re: Artist's Retreat
Jac: Jons already beaten me to his room i make my way up slowly. "Here's your room Aj." I tell her not turning just gesturing to the door before continuing a few doors down to Jon's room, i stop before i enter. "If you need anything don't hesitate to ask me." I call to her, before going to set down the heavy amp. Your first time here is always a little confusing, its a big place after all.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Aj: I don't have enough energy to smile back. I just glance over at him, thinking, that's nice of him, before pushing through to my room. Um, wow. It's...amazing. There's so much space I could use to set up my easel, and more than one desk for storing things and for drawing... I even have a whole wall for a window so that I can look out into the forest. And if i look hard enough, i think I can see a lake a few miles away. I sit down on my bed, staring out at it with a small smile on my lips. "This is going to be the few weeks ever. I can just tell." I say to myself.

Penny: I snap pictures of this butterflie somewhere in the parkinglot. It was the prettiest shade of blue.
Re: Artist's Retreat
Lauren-
I dumped my sketch books on the floor, and went back to my car for my dance stuff. I had my pointe bag, my drill team bag, and my lyrical bag. I looked like I was moving with all the bags, not to mention the boxes in my car with a drafting desk, that I had no idea how to put together, and other art supplies.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Aj: After getting out of the fancy get up my mom had forced upon me, I head back out of my room and down the stairs with my large sketch book in hand. I think I could use some quiet time out in the forest, do some exploring. The stairs creak a little, and the idea of sketching an old abandoned room comes to head. I'll have to remember that one. I roll a lock of hair between my fingers, wondering what I'll find out in the---
I gasp as I slip on something. I fall onto my butt with a dull thud. I groan, sitting up and looking around for what I'd slipped up on. It's a..picture. I pick it up, turning it around so i can really look at it. THe use of space and the sense of emotion is really thought out. I slip it into my sketchbook, I'll take a closer look later. Maybe even find out who's it is later.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Name: Elizabeth L. Savell (Liz)
Age: 22
Art(s):Flute, Piccolo, and Violin but she's best at flute.
looks:Dark curly hair and startling grey eyes. She's 5'5'', but slender. She's a huge klutz.
personality: She's unlike any flautist you've met before, with a dangerous, stubborn attitude. There's little in life she cares about other than her music, her family, and her cat. She hides emotion well because she's always had to, and is fiercely protective of what she does care about. She's got a dry sense of humor and loves to laugh if you can get to know her well enough.
background: She grew up inn a lower middle class family. Her parents divorced when she was six. Her dad remarried when she was nine, and both sides of the family were in a tight spot. Dad didn't have a job and Mom had to work five. She did everything she could to do well in school and help out her family but playing her music was the only way she could relieve some of the stress.
other:She has a medium haired, black and white tuxedo cat that she has dubbed Prince Charrels.

Re: Artist's Retreat
Penny: I stand up only to narrowly miss getting hit by a white limo. The passengers don't even notice. I go in search of a first aid room for band aids, I had scraped both of my elbows when I jumped back from the car. I could hear a sick dripping noise from my buring elbows. Great.

Re: Artist's Retreat
I go to the front pouch, sitting down on one of the swinging benches and sighing, alot of new guests was good, but also stressful, and with Jon being here it had potential for disaster. I lean my head back and close my eyes, trying to enjoy a moment of silence.
(I made an opening if someone wants to run into Jac
