Alex: "I'm not in a band." I tell him, reaching the end of the lorry, putting it on the little metal elevator thing and stepping on it, pressing a button on the side. "Alex." I tell him.

Adam: after a quick tour of the place, and lisey yelling at me to get my drums I spot johnny. I talk a running jump onto his back. "Johnny boy!" I yell to his ear as he tries to catch his balance, barely doing so by grabbing onto the lorry. I spot the girl he was with and quirk a brow, adjusting myself on Jon's back, gripping his shoulders tight. "Well hullo? Holding out on me?" I tell him laughing. with a small sigh she shimmies me off, letting my land roughly on the ground. "This is Adam." He introduces me, "You should ignore him." I scowl, standing to my defense, but have nothing to say. "Yeah, you probably should." I admit to her.

Gerard: I stand awkwardly to the side of the group, Lisey had asked me to go over and as to see if we could borrow a cart, but I really didn't want to, and craved my comics stowed on the can. Lisey walks up behind me. "I got most of it." She tell me, i frown. "Sorry." I mumble, but she just rests her head on my shoulder, telling me silently its okay.

Ricky: "Curtis," I groaned his name. I got up off the bed too and watched Tiff pull her hair into a pony tail. She used to have a magenta stripe in her hair, but she took it out a few months ago. I liked her hair better without the stripe.

Curtis: I stared up at the ceiling, wishing there was a hot girl around here now. Wishing I didn't have to stay with my love-infested band today. Wanting to be of legal drinking age. Now that is all I want, to be of legal drinking age. That's what I really want right about now. Unlike some people who wouldn't care about laws, I did. I would sneak one drink (or three) at a party now and then, but usually I wouldn't do it.

Tiff: I pulled my hair into a pony tail and took Ricky's hand. We went into the empty room and looked around. "Do you want to get our stuff in here? It kind of creeps me out how this is so...grey." I laughed at myself. Maybe I would splatter the walls with neon green later.

Tori: "The name's Tori by the way people," I winked at the guys, damn I forgot to ask where my favourite band were... Dang. Oh well, I'm sure some would know.

(Guys, do you wanna bring in like already famous bands or just leave it with just our made-up bands?)

Jon: After a small battle with Adam about 'yes, you should have to move your drums, you are the one who brought them' all our equipment had been moved in. Without my daily doses of coffee I escape from the room for a early smoke break, ive kept it down to a minimum for Lisey who's never been a fan, but i need something to take the edge off. I take a small drag, exhaling smoke rings carefully.

Lisey: I sigh as i watch Adam and Gerard fight about clothes, in the end it doesn't really matter whos shirt it is, both will wear it numerous times without it being washed until i get fed up and do laundry, although I know its adam's because Gerard would never buy that particular shade of blue, although it does suit him well.

Tori: I sighed, I needed some air. I went outside and leant against the side, but a smoker already beat me there; damn, I was gonna have a coughing attack in a minute; that's why my dad quit, all because of me. I took out my iPod and put the earphone in, listening to Good Charlotte always calmed me down.

Jon: I take another drag and snub the butt out on the concrete ashtray beside me, as i turn to o back into our room i spot a girl sitting against the wall, i quirk a brow and stroll over. "s'cuse me?" I say, wondering if she'd be able to hear me over her music. "do you know where t'get a decent cup of coffee round here?" I ask, grinning politely.

Tori: Mouthing the lyrics I leant my head against the wall, a shadow loomed over me, I opened an eye and looked at a guy hovering over me, "Sorry, what?" I pulled one out and smiled at him, my eyes staring at him through the thick fringe that decided to spread over my whole face for some reason.

Jon: I smile, hearing the music flood from the headphones but unable to identify the music. "Coffee." I say, "I swear we didn't pass a single shop on our way here. Even a starbucks would do, you don't happen to know of any do you?" I pull a hand through my slightly tangled hair and shuffle in my flip flops, realizing my addiction to caffeine was much more than nicotine.

Tori: "No idea," I stood up, "But to be honest I need to get something," I sighed, switching my music off. "So, I take it as you're one of the bands competing? Oh, the name's Tori by the way, from Industry."

Jon: I nod slightly, my eyes scanning once more for a coffee place in veiw. " Nice to meet you, Im Jon from Fortunate Morning." I wave a hand to our van, hand painted by Gerard and Adam a large sun rising over the horizon was painted on the side cartoonish yet realistic, it cast oranges pinks and purple the spread around the whole thing. Our band's name was written in scrawling script along the bottom. "I bet the town has to have some hole in the wall, I was about to go and find one if your interested?" I ask her, leaning back on my heels.

Tori: I raised an eyebrow at him, the one covered in fringe. Stroking it back so it covered just the one, I pulled my aviators back down, "What do you mean by hole in the wall?" as far I knew it was a crappy TV show back in Britain, but it was obvious that I knew what happened there, my accent showed it. I looked him up and down, flip flops? Seriously? I shrugged it off and waited for an answer.

Jon: I shrug. "You know, the local cafe's with cute little names and too many overstuffed armchair that play music that no ones heard of over the speakers?" maybe it was a Seattle thing, "they usually have surprisingly good coffee." I say, remembering my personal favorite back home called 'metro coffee' that played fortunate morning and had a great cinnamon americano.

Tori: ""Sorry, still getting used to American terms and such," I rubbed my arm, "My dad even though he is tries to tone it down a bit so that I don't fail in English class," I laughed lightly, my phone buzzing in my pocket, "One sec," I picked it up. "Hello Diggers, how's the lighting and shit?"
"Well, we're being put to the top! The head liners had to pull out so now we need a group to support us..."
"Oh great," I sighed, "Well, I met Demo back stage earlier, they're guests so maybe..."
"Yeah, but they might push past us and get head line... Oh well, worth a shot. I'll find 'em later then. Thanks Tor."
"No worries," I clicked him off, now, if this phone weren't brand new I'd smash it.

Jon: I hum a response as she pulls out her phone, waiting patiently til she's finished. "Everything alright?"I ask once i knew she'd hang up. I hear a loud crash from our room that makes me tense, until i hear Adam's laugh through the walls along with Gerard's yelling. I keep a smile on my face while looking at Tori.

Tori: "I think you may to check that," I looked at him, "Yeah, basically we just got bumped to headlining tonight, but we need to find a supporting act, but it can't be anyone in the competition so we're gonna ask DeMo..." I sighed, "Anyway, coffee house hunting?" I brought us back to the conversation.

Jon: I chuckle, "They're fine, Liseys' in there to keep the two from hurting each other." I tell her. stretching. "but, coffee." I grin wide, "Sounds fantstic." I begin to lead her into town, luckly its close by. I decide to ask more about the supporting act later, once ive cleared my mind with coffee. It doesn't take much til we find just what i was looking for, a small shop dubbed 'the mad hat' sat tucked in, looking warm and inviting. "Perfect." I tell her.

Tori: "If you say so," I seemed a bit put off via the name, but I guess I'm with the smoker guy... And I've got the ultra-protective singer on speed dial if I'm really in trouble; seriously, I wouldn't unless I was dying...

Jon: I let her in first, and pay for both our drinks since i was the one who invited her. As we wait i lead her to an open cluster of chair, talking a seat the worn leather collapses under me, just like home. "So," I say, already feeling better in the atmosphere, "if you really needed a supporting act, Im sure Lisey and the guys wouldn't mind helping out." I say, even though wouldn't mind isn't exactly the right term, more like overjoyed, im sure she gets the picture. The waitress walks over, handing us our drinks, i slip her a tip and grin into my americano, taking a long careful drink.

Tori: "Thanks," I sipped up the coffee, "I would do but one, the guys will think that you bribed me and so would I, and two you can't if you've entered the Band Slam which also means you can't play in Canada. I don't make the rules, I read them," I sighed, sliding my aviators to the top of my head.

Jon: I nod, humming lightly into my drink. "Got it." I say, smiling, lisey would have known that, she's pretty much got this thing sorted out, Im just following along. "So your not actually in the contest, your like, a guest band?" I never really kept up with popular music, i rack my brain trying to put her band to music.

Its alright, happens to us all. who is your band like on here? compared to like a real life band?

Tori: "Yeah, me and the guys are doing it to promote the new album and such. What's your band's sound?" I looked at him, I didn't actually know his band, but I'm sure Digby did, he knows everything, but I knew lots in my area. Ask me anything about punk/metal stuff, I had it covered.

(I guess a cross between Good Charlotte and Paramore. With a hint of craziness from good ol' Bowling for Soup XD You?)

Jon: I nod, reminding myself to look up their band, still smiling pleasantly. "Indie rock mostly." I comment "We've done pretty good in Seattle, but you know the type, they try their hardest to keep their music to themselves, and hates anything popular." It was a shock when lisey told us about the contest, but we were done playing in smoke filled rooms.



(nice i like it.
mines a mix between my favorite indie bands/singers. Lisey is pretty much Laura Marling. but the band as a whole is more Noah and the whale and margot and the nuclear so and sos.)

(yeah, my internet just decided to die for a minute too.)

Tori: "Oh right," I nodded. I didn't actually know the type, I mean, I'm pretty restricted to my info on other states and such, mainly Dad's fault and the guys don't really give a damn to be honest; I don't even know where Seattle is. "Indie's popular though," I put the coffee down, "I mean, some of the songs are good, but I need to it to have more exciting and heavier riffs and bass-lines."

(Yeah, that's cool. I'm having a hard time of making Tori not like Hayley Williams though... Tad annoying)

Jon: "I get that, most of our stuff is pretty chill, a few that Gerard wrote are a bit heavier, but not much. and he hates the attention so he doesn't sing much." I always tried to tell him that he should make it equal, as does lisey, but its hard to get through to him. "We'll get to him eventually." i grin as the waitress comes for refills, already loving this place.


(I know, im inspired by one artists but i have to be like no! you are not the same person! it doesn't often work though)
