Tori: "Well, I haven't, not anymore," I sighed, standing up and looking out at the rain pouring down, thunder began to rumble, "I guess I should have just cut deeper," I picked up the blood-stained blade and looked at it, my mouth zipped close, just looking at it, not particularly proud of it. I leant against the tree and began to sing the song again, the real version, not the one that I sang infront of the cameras, the one that I'd be singing at my mother's funeral.

Gerard: I shake my head, knowing her words are untrue. I bite my lip looking at the blade and listening to her sad song. "Im glad you didn't cut deeper." I say quietly, "Its never worth it." I sigh, running a hand down my arm to warm myself. "And from what Ive seen you've got a lot to live for."

Tori: "So? I can strum a guitar and sing in tune, loads of people can do that," I put the blade in my pocket, I would need it later. I looked at him, my eyes still slightly red from the crying, "I guess Jon was right on the fact that I should have talked to you," my words stayed in their solemn tone, "But I could always cut deep later," I looked away again, out towards the trees, "Got any rope?"

Jon: I shake my head, "Jons usually right about most things." I say, "He's been through quite a bit." I think about our long talks, my eyes follow hers to the trees. "It wouldn't do any good." i say, Jon has always said suicide was a selfish act. "You'll just pass the hurt onto someone else. And your friend Ricky seemed awful worried."

Jon? I thought it was Gerard?

Tori: "That's my problem, other people," I sighed, "I guess I'll have to back to concilling now," I bit my lip. "Was he there hen his best mate in the world was talking to him about suicide and he just let her do it because he didn't take him seriously?" I spoke towards the trees, but I clenched my fists, "My best mate killed hersef when we were 14. I regret everyday that I never see her again. And now I'll never see my mother again..."

Gerard: I sigh, "Im so sorry." I say, glancing at her carefully."Its hard to lose someone so close. It feels like it will never stop hurting." my eyes wander but end back on her. "It was his mistake, we all make them, and learn from them. But some," I glance at the knife outlined in her pocket, "We can't learn from."

Tori: I gulped slightly "I never wanted pity, I only wanted grace. I never asked for love because mine's now lost. The touch of loss always graced me. The touch of hope was always at loss," I recited a few lines from the song, sayingthem as if they were a poem, "I don't really care about what other people think anymore. So what? I slit my wrists, so I may be an emo, but I'm still human. The life so lost, I need you, but you've faded..." the last sentence was part of the song, the bit that gave it it's title. I closed my eyes and sighed, "Thanks."

Gerard: I hum in response, mulling over her words. "Its a nice song." I say, "Sad, but pretty." I go silent, no words coming to me as I count the flowers on my scarf in my head. Its not as awkward as many quiet moments, its actually nice as we both think.

Tori: "Thanks, there's a less depressing version too," I stiffled a laugh at that part, "But that's the real version for ya," my voice came out soft. I sighed and looked down to my arm as I rolled up the sleeve. I took out a tissue and dabbed the blood, wicing as they touched. I checked my sleeve for traces of stains but it was good; the sleeves were just loose enough not too. Just.

Gerard: "If you want there's a first aid box in our van." The cuts looked painful, and I doubted she wanted her band mates to know about this. "We could go there and get those cleaned up." I mumble, pushing my glasses farther up my nose.

Tori: "You sound like my dad," I looked at him, "But yeah they need to be cleaned up; I'm meant to be wearing a short-sleeved number tonight; that ain't gonna happen now, eh?" but then again my arm was covered in scars from the many years of cuts and such. I've even got a few burns from the cigarette lighter, but I was desperate then...

Gerard: I give a very tiny smile and lead her to our van. I open up the back doors and hop in. "You can sit where ever." I say, motioning to the pillows and been bags in the back. I look under the driver seat, first pulling out my box of comic, setting it behind me, before grabbing the first aid kit. "Here we are, I say turning back, "This kits actually pretty handy."

Tori: I sat timidly on a beanbag, hoping that later I would be avle to get up, "Just do me a favour and don't tellthe guys or the manager, Ricochet, tell slit my throat for me," I looked at him, "And yes I do know that first aid is handy, dyb dyb dyb," I made the Boy Scout sallut and smiled, "Bloody torture though."

Gerard: "Sure" I say "It'll be our secret." I didn't feel good about it, but it wasnt my place anyways. I grabbed the antiseptic and began dabbing it on her arm lightly, knowing it would sting, I tried to distract her. "At a party in one of the clubs back home, Adam, you haven't met him, he's tall and covered in tattoos, was drunk decided it would be a good idea to get a new tattoo." I chuckle a little, "He ended up getting a purple unicorn on his hip. And then spent the rest of the nigh showing it off and how Majestic it was." I cracked a grin, moving to her other arm.

Tori: "Nice," I nodded, "I was gonna get one, cover up some of the scars," I watched as he dabbed my arm, wincing slightly; that's the bad thing about being able to write with both hands, you can slit with both too. "I mean, that long one was gonna be the edge of it," I traced it with my finger, "Either that or a swallow." I sighed, trying not to pull my arm away, "That one needed stiches I cut it so deep..." I sighed, "But anyway, how old are you? I never did ask."

Gerard: I look up at her, done studying the scars, "I'm the youngest at the fresh age of twenty one." I tell her, "Then Lisey, then Adam, and old grandpa Jon at twenty four" I say grinning. "Yourself?"

Tori: "Seventeen," I said, "But Chris and Drew are eighteen, earlier birthdays and such. Digby's is next week and mine is the middle of March so I've got a bit to wait yet. But lil Rickers has his in June," I shrugged, "But he's the wildest of all of us to be honest."

Gerard: I raised a brow. "Your young. What about like school and stuff?" I ask, We all had at least a two year college degree, Jon had four. They aren't needed, but there was always your band wouldn't make it, we prepared for that.

Tori: "We're all clever, we're mulitasking, plus it's the holidays at the moment so we're able to go. If it weren't it would be hard for us to get off. Plus I've got a GCSE in French already. A*," I winked at him. I sighed, "Done with 'em?" I rolled my sleeve down again, listening to the sound of the rain on the metal roof, "Hey, have you gottq guitar in here?"

Gerard: "Thats good." I say I pull my hands away, and put the kit back under the seat. "I think we've got one somewhere." Crawling to the front of the van, i land awkwardly on my stomach. I scan and spot an acoustic in the Drivers seat, I reach for it, straining my body far. Once my hands close on its neck I roll back, falling with a huff on a pile of pillows. Its a standard Gibson, my first one that Jon had given to me. I run my hand over The Scratch carefully, this guitar was full of memories, losing it would be losing something more than a material possession. I hand it over a bit reluctantly. "Be careful." I murmur, my eyes still focused on The Scratch.

Tori: "Nah, don't worry then," I nodded at him, "I know it means a lot to ya," I could tell by the way he handled it, it was like a baby to him by the looks of it. Sighing, I started to tap out a rhythm on my knee; lack of musical instruments annoyed me, maybe because back home there was never a room without a CD player or radio. You gotta love my house for being a musical one. I looked at him, "How old is that?" I pointed at it; it looked quite new but damage always makes it look older and more worn. I should know, my dad's Firebird came to America with damage, they hadto repay him loads of cash. And then mine got stolen at school a week later... Never did find out who took it mind you, but it was my baby, well my motorbike is now, but still it's important to me.

This is the type of music and the dancing LOVE IT <3 He's the one in the KTF t shirt, and this is one of his dance classes because him and one of my other mates might be in a film about northern soul (If you comment, don't mention me, him, anyone's name, or the film.
