Okay, I was reluctant at first...

When I first joined this site, I know, I was naughty and still chatted on inkpop too... I prefered inkpop, and yes, I still made chats on there... But now, I can safely say, with a base of 87 other people to chat with on here, I much prefer this one!! I mean, even the typing features are better. I start to use italics and bold in my chatting more every day. Well. Do you know what I say? Let's go for gold. Try and get 100 members on our ickle site.

I'm with you, though I would love to see this evolve into a roleplaying site, not just chat play. Character chats lack depth.

I mean, we're writers! Shouldn't we be writing in full instead of reducing ourselves to character chats? We can do so much better.

But oh, this is a rant for another board.

I prefer role play. I mean, before now in chats I've put this HUGE paragraph of stuff, and all I get back is an:
"ok"
or an
"that's cool"

A onexone is exactly what you think - a one on one roleplay. There's only two people involved, and the banter goes back and forth. Because there are only two people, the posts can be longer and the plot is much more linear, as you don't have to worry about four other people wanting to throw in their own twists.

It's also good if you want something racy and/or violent, because you can do it over email or IM and not have to worry about offending a roleplayer.
