I nodded, "I wish you would've told me sooner." I let off a couple shots of my own before going back down. I returned to my human appearance.

Akahana nodded and followed the soldiers to Jasmine's office.

(Kitsune Homeland)
Four Kitsune, each with seven tails, ran up to the Lady, who was preparing to leave. Their names were Chu, Yuki, Namikari, and Asuka. "M'Lady," Chu said, "The Nine-Tailed Ones are preoccupied asissting the Resistance in others ways."
The Lady nodded slowly. "You four shall do then," she said, "If you are willing."
"Of course, M'Lady," the four said together.

(Path to Nationalist Base)
Four beautiful young women walked down the path, ocassionally glancing around. They walked in step and with a sense of purpose, keeping an eye out for soldiers.

Kit 1 member: "We have go ahead to fire, I say again we do have go ahead to fire."

Another Kit 1 member: "Aiming is useless guys, so don't worry about it. These are blank rounds."

3rd kit 1 member: "Mine's loaded, waiting for your command Jeremy."

1st kit 1 member: "Open it up." He said slowly.

All of them begin firing from the tree line.

The women simultaeniously(sp) turned their heads to the treeline, eyebrows arched. Seeing the Nationalist uniforms, they shifted into tigers(Kitsune can shapeshift into many things. Not just humans. ), and ran at the gunmen.

(Resistance Base)
Akahana watched as the soldiers knocked on the door to Jasmine's office.

I tried to get off of a shot and I cried out, ducking back as a bullet lodges into my shoulder. I wince as I try to get it out.

[BariJoy]

When the door opened, Akahan walked in and shifted into a human. "What the heck is going on, Jasmine?" she asked, "One minute, I'm heading back to Base. The next, I'm being carried like a prisoner by our own soldiers."

Jasmine: I turned around, still in tears. "Please forgive me Akahana, if you were awake, you would have hated me even more then you will in a second." I paused. "I ordered a fake attack on the kitsune, we have to try to stall them, our attack is going to take to long. If you were awake you would have heard the open fire command, it would have all turned into a misunderstanding. We are pretending to attack your lady, the bullets are blank though." I gasped for air, the crying was really affecting me. I ran over to Akahana, and looked up at her face. "Please Akahana, don't hate me for what I did."

Kyle: "Damn it Alice, fall back to the base. Get yourself looked at please." I took an envelope out of my pocket, "give this to Jasmine for me."

Akahana arched an eyebrow, "A fake attack?" She considered a moment, "Yeah, I probably would've killed you all." She laughed a little, "Not literally, of course." She pulled Jasmine into a quick hug. "I love you all too much. But what about the fake attackers? They probably will be killed."

The four Kitsune-tigers charged towards the treeline. 'We live for the Lady,' they each thought to themselves and glanced up at the bright moon, that had suddenly appeared in the sky, for strength.

[Cali]

I yanked the bullet out, gasping. Pure silver. "Y-Yeah." I nod and take the envelope. I give him a pleading look then a kiss on his cheek. I whispered in his ear, "Please be careful." I run off, shoulder aching.

Jasmine: "They volunteered to save the lady, in turn giving their lives." I looked down, "I didn't want to do it, but I had to do something to stall her. The attack out there is running into to many issues, and the Nationalists are bringing up more reinforcements, I'm almost considering a retreat." I threw my arms around Akahana. "I don't know what to do anymore, I'm pulling every tactic I know to protect her, and the Nationalists are constantly one step ahead of me. I'm losing my friends by the second, Kyle is handing out better commands then me..." I tightened my grip, crying. "Even with Kyle on the front lines, handing commands, the nationalists are winning this fight. I sent word to the Drakeish elves priestess for help, but their not replying to me. I don't know what to do Akahana."

Kyle: "All of Echo force move up, Jasmine can you hear me? We need smoke to cover our advancement, artillery is needed at 1-9-0, and we still need reinforcements to take control of that dragon the nationalists are hiding." I put my gun over the top of the rock, keeping my body in cover, and fired a couple shots. Jasmine wasn't responding. "Ariel forces on me, we're going to make a run for that building, all other forces keep the suppressive fire down on it. Snipers when in position aim at Tango building 6. Jasmine answer me please we need major support, and your the only one that can call it in." I looked at Alice just after she kissed me, "You be more careful then I am... Please."

I look back at him ducking as a bullet tries to hit me in the head, I nod. "Don't die Ky. Please. I'm begging you." I say and run off fast.

"Well," Akahana said, "One thing you don't really have to worry about, is the Lady. The only way to kill a Kitsune is getting them eaten by a Dragon. Kyle has people trying to stall the transport of the Nationalists' Dragon. If any of that helps you any." She hugged Jasmine and tried to comfort her.

Jasmine: "Kyle is trying to lead that attack, he wants you to lead some of our remaining reserve to attack the dragon. I argued it with him, but he left the choice to you." I laughed as I said, "He's a great leader, but he's to damned stubborn for his own good." My laugh faded, "I'm afraid one of these times it's going to take his life. He'll never retreat from a battle unless I absolutely force him to, and he's always to close trying to keep the people he's with safe. He looks at the battle field alot different then any other officer I have. To him, he needs every person to come home, regardless of how well he knows someone he cares about them. He'll never show it, but I've seen him cry, he'll act strong on the battlefield... but he's really no tougher then you or me."

Kyle: A bunch of people started to gather close to the rock remaining in cover. Another group of the resistance tried to charge into the city, "Alright... We need to care fire, the snipers will start to give us support momentarily but we're going to take that building, then use the roof to support another charge, what do you have for explosives?"

Resistance officer: "We've got plenty of that stockpiled around in our group, probably enough to hold out for an hour, maybe more depending how fast we use it."

Kyle: "Alright, Jasmine isn't answering, but I'm going to keep trying, I will be the first man around this rock and you guys will follow, at the same time I will also be the first one to enter that building." I looked around. "If I go down, whoever's behind me picks the radio up and orders for artillery on coordinates 1-9-0, she'll know where to strike." My eyes kept looking around as I continued. "Once we get out of cover we're running for that building, when we reach it, check your ammo, 2 men reload at a time, Understood?"

I reached the base and someone yelled, "Star!" I then responded, "Texas!" I ran up to them and say, "I have a letter for Jasmine, it's from Kyle who's on the battlefront." He nodded and let me in.

(Basically, a Kitsune, in Japanese folklore, is a fox spirit. They have many powers, ranging in power depending on how many tails they have gained. They can even posses people. *Evil eyebrow wiggle* )
