Alaric : I glare at the toy for a long moment before walking to the office room and dumping it in the trash. Angry runs in my blood along with everything else...But i don't know what to do.

Kody: after a few hours of just sitting and attempting to disappear, someone comes up behind me and taps me on the shoulder lightly. i don't move an inch.
"Kody?"
it's Claire. I straighten up and put on a calm expression so as to not worry her.
"What's wrong?" she asks, settling down beside me.
"Nothing, sweetie," I smile a little. her dark blue eyes are wide and concerned.
"But...don't lie to me. You promised no lying," she argues, holding onto my arm and leaning against me. I rest my cheek on her soft blonde head.
"Ok then. I'm not feeling all too great."
"Is it because you miss home?"
"Yeah. exactly."
"Me too.." she whispers, sniffling. i take her little hand and squeeze it.
"You're my little trooper, you know that Claire?" i try cheering her up.
"I don't feel like one." she mumbles.
"Well you are."
"Okay."
there's a few moments of silence before she talks again, and she sounds actually kind of happy.
"we got a call from auntie,"
"Mhm?" I murmur. "and?"
"and she says we can stay with her whenever we want when mommy works!" she looks up at me with happy eyes. whenever we want to...hm.
"That's great," I smile. i suddenly have an idea. but i'll need to call some people. including a few people that aren't going to be too thrilled to hear from me i don't think.

Alaric : After anther phone call and more fleeting flash backs i seem to finally lose all control of my self. The next thing i know im throwing things off of tables and tossing them at windows. I topple everything off my desk and when i cross through the bathroom my own reflections become the last straw. I take aim and connect my closed fist into it and only get a searing pain down my inner arm in return. I'm gasping and trying to focus but my eyesight becomes hazy. I look down at my arm to see that i'm bleeding much faster than i should be. I try to get to the other side of the room but i fall and can't get up. Before i know it..i'm unconscious.

Kody: "Hey kiddo, i think it's time for you to go to bed, c'mon," i take her hand and lead her into the house. after i have her in bed, and tucked in, i start packing. I sneak out to my car, load the stuff i have packed ready in the trunk and am about to sneak back inside when the clearing of a throat stops me.
"Excuse me? Is someone trying to make a run for it?" it's the amused voice of Jason. I grimace.
"No, i'm just..no!" I snap, straightening up and facing him. he's not smiling though.
"I'm not stopping you. I was just headed home. Sometimes you need to run away." he says matter-of-factly. i hesitate, i was hoping to talk to him during daylight sometime, but i guess it's now or never.
"Will you do something for me tomorrow?" i ask him carefully. he blinks uncomprehendingly.
"Uh, sure..."
"Will you drive Claire out to her aunts and tell her that i'll call her as soon as i can?"
He nods, "sure thing, Kody." and he pushes off from the wall. "Have fun...er, running away." he grins over at me in the growing darkness. i roll my eyes.
"Whatever, jason."
"thanks."
"For what?"
"Calling me by my actual name," his eyes flash a bright green before he turns away. He must have an eye mod or something. I shrug my shoulders and go back inside, hoping i'll get a good night's sleep before tomorrow.

Kody: the next day, i decide to try calling Alaric as i get to a few towns away from home. he doesn't pick up. I sigh, leaving a message.
"Hey, just Kody. I wanted to talk to you about something, call me back soon." i hang up and pull into the rest of the air flow of traffic easily. the suckish thing; when you drive with lifters, you can't drive any faster than if you were on the ground.

Raela: I looked up seeing Alaric's place and walked up to it. I knocked a few times. "Hello?" I call, then wait for a few minutes. "Alaric?" I call then knock. The door opens a crack from my knocking and I easily take out my knife, slowly opening the door. "Hello?" I whisper loudly. I see some blood and rush to it, putting my knife back into my boot. I gasp seeing Alaric bleeding badly. I kneel down next to him and feel for a pulse while dialing 911.

Raela: I told the operator everything I knew about what happened and waited, eyes wide. "Alaric, wake up. Even just a little bit." I say, frantically. Is he suicidal or something?

Alaric : Irvin was frowning at me. "Alaric why did you do that?" He asked touching the back of my head in a soothing manner. I shrugged at him. "I don't know, but i wasn't trying to kill myself," i said. Jonathan gives me a doubtful look from the corner of my eye. "Alaric you're going to have to wake up," He said. I shake my head and run over to him. He opened his arms and held me tightly. "If i wake up you won't be here. Neither of you will be here," I said, pain lacing through every single one of my words.
Kody pats my head. "We'll be there, don't worry. Just give it time," She said, walking backwards until she was gone. I looked down, my ears drooping and my tail still. Jonathan kissed the top of my head. "Don't worry, we won't leave.I promise," He said and then he was gone, leaving me with the one person i wanted to be with more than anything. "Irvin!" i yell. He smiled at me and mouths something i can't hear before
disapearing.
I love you, Alaric...
My heart breaks.
in the distance i hear someone calling my name, i sigh and force my eyes open a little. It was the annoying singer girl from last time, i groan.

I shake my head, sighing in relief. "You must be suicidal." I look up as I hear the ambulance pull up. "Just hang in there alright?" I stand then open the door and yell, "Over here!!" I run back to Alaric, a Paramedic behind me. I kneel down next to him. Just as the Paramedic kneels down next to him, he asks, "Do you remember anything?"

Kody: after another of driving, i tray calling him again. i was starting to get worried. maybe he was really mad at me...or he was in trouble..or..
"Alaric? Please call me, i'm worried about you. I need to--" I choke off when i realize i just want to hear his voice again. "Just please call me back," I end up whispering and hanging up.

"Well, I'd explain but honestly. You'll continue to be a stubborn asswhole even though I didn't do anything to you." I sigh, my hand over the handle of my knife. I shove it into my boot completely. Another paramedic came over and lifted him onto a stretcher.

Alaric : "Bite me," I snap, but it doesn't sound very good. More like another groan as a lapse of pain comes over me. I feel the stretcher rolling down the hall and into the elevator and i swear im about to throw up.
