Kody: I glare at my mother who's actually looking at me and talking at the same time.
"Yes, there are a few classes before we move to--"
"But i don't want to be a surgeon like you!" I shout back. "I want to be--"
"A test junkie? That's what you want?" she glares back. i can see where i got my attitude from.
"It's not a 'test junkie'. it comes down to a science of the consumer and the--"
"It does not matter. You won't get a good enough income to take care of yourself on something like that," she argues, shaking her head and walking away from me.
"Oh whatever mom! I might not be paid as much as you think i should be making, but it's what i want to do!" I yell, my eyes sting with tears of anger. why can't she just see that i don't want to be like her? She turns back to me.
"Get ready to go to the dinner." is all she says.
"Another one? we were just at--"
"Now."
and she's gone off to her room. Great. just great. i feel like smashing something in, but i don't dare trying and just go to my room and slam the door. this was just how i wanted to start out my last summer here! not.

Alaric : I set up the old fashion movie-player and sat on the floor by the table to watch the opening credits fade away. Kody said she would come over to watch it with us so i was a little happier now.

Kody: After a few minutes of sulking and cuddling my giant panda plushie, i send a message to Alaric saying i'm heading over to his now.
I pull on my dark purple hoodie that has little fibers in it that change to the color of it's surroundings. Like, when i get outside, it turns a pale grey color as i pass the building next to our apartment building. It turns back to dark purple though as i turn it off and come up to Alaric's front door. I knock lightly, hoping i don't look too horrible.

Alaric : I open the door and smile a little. "Hey," I say to Kody. She looks a little tired but i don't comment on it. "C'mon on it," I say, moving away from the door and back to the living room where Irvin is already seating with popcorn on the table. he waves at her a little.

gah i hate it when people do something just to make me mad
i told everyone on inkpop that i wouldn't be able to do any swaps or anything
and this one person commented 4 times on my project after i told him not to and now hes mad at me because i won't return the favor. also he kept saying that the vampires in my book are cliche
and i dont even have vampires in my book!

Kody: I smile faintly over at Irvin before taking a nice spot in front of the couch. I lean back against it and lean my head back with my eyes closed. God, i feel ancient.
"So, what movie are we watching guys?" i ask without opening my eyes.

me too >.<. i just don't see the point in it. the only bad comment i get is that my spelling is off and i told them that im working on it but you can't expect someone to get better in a months time.

Alaric : I click play. "Its a horror," I say because Irvin wanted a romance first and there was no way i was going to watch one of those with him.

i'm like, "oh, that helped me so much! i'm glad i confused you!" i don't know what else to say.

Kody: "More horror? Whatever," I open an eye to look over at Alaric. I wonder what's with all the guts and gory that has him wanting to only watch these kinds of movies. i shrug it off though. "We'll see how long i last before i fall asleep to the cries and screams of the innocent. i hear it's the new thing or something," i ramble on. it happens when i'm tired or am angry.
