Alaric : I take a short drink and set my water bottle next to me. A couple run past us, holding hands and egging each other on. I raise a brow, "So what have you been up to for the last 3 days?" I ask casually, leaning back in the bench.

i meant that the ice cream always cost 3.50 and i joked about saying that you charged her more because of her skates x.x

she ordered two scoops silly. 1 scoop is 3.50 2 is 4. its a steal if you think about it.

Sol: I nod. "Cool, you'll love it Im sure. I'm Sol by the way." I hand her the cone and grab the money, putting it into the register with a happy ding.

Evelyn: I smiled. "I'm Evelyn. Nice to meet you, Sol." I took the ice cream cone and waved. "Thank youuuuu!" I said, then bladed out the door, licking the chocolate. "Mmm...nummy...." I glided past some people before spiraling to a stop, then continued on a slower pace.

Kody: I look up at him now sadly. "Boston. It's so i don't have to worry about moving there or something for when i go to college," i roll my eyes, but it doesn't have its full effect. "I don't know. I mean, it's not that far away, so i'm sure i'll be able to visit sometimes..." i trail off, feeling my eyes sting.

SOl: I wave goodbye, she seems nice, and very small. I hum to myself and put on some music, a womans voice and piano slips through the wireless speakers in the shop and I smile, remembering my old recitals.

Kody: I watch him for awhile in silence. "But we still have the rest of the summer, you know?" I say, putting on a small smile for him. When he doesn't smile back, mine slowly fades too. "I'm sorry Alaric, i just..." i look away, covering my face with my hands. Why did i have to care so much? I mean, i could barely remember when we stopped hanging out as kids. but now...i don't even know.

Evelyn: I skated some more until I reached a very big tree, and I skidded to a stop. Gawking, I craned my neck back and looked up at it, my eyes wide. "That...is a very big tree." Retracting my wheels, I walked over to it, licking my ice cream, and stared at it some more. I knocked on the wood a few times.. The bark was pretty smooth for a tree that big...like a chair...I turned around and sat down, my back against the tree. It DID feel like a chair...a really big chair. I had made up my mind. Once I finished my icecream, I was gonna climb the tree. At least one branch.

Alaric : I reach over to hug her. "Yeah we do have the whole summer.." I say, my voice almost a whisper. We hadn't seen each other for so long..and at one point i thought if she ever left again that i wouldn't care...but now...now it just hurt to know she was leaving me. she didn't warm me.

Sol: "Huh?" I stare at the scoop in my hand, "Oh yeah, sorry." I scoop up a cone and hand it to her. "On the house, and if you ever need someone to kick his ass for you Im here." I smile, but truth is Ive never fought someone outside of the arena. But I doubt it could be that hard.

Home. Right now. it says. I sigh, getting up slowly.
"I'm sorry Alaric, i gotta go home. My mom needs me," I say, choking on the last words. I wave to him sadly before heading off.
