Alaric : After some coaxing i finally give up, i stay on his lap and tell him whats wrong. I don't tell him about my mother but i do tell him that i don't inflict the pain on myself.
He does something unusual. Other than kissing my forehead, he takes off the bandage and comes back to tend it like it should be. Like Jonathan use to.
"Its okay, its not your fault, you're not a bad boy," He says as he does so. And for that moment.. i believe him.

Kody: I get up and brush the rose petals off my pants, heading inside. I freeze in the doorway when I hear Alaric and Irvin. Irvin is comforting Alaric, I can tell. I smile to myself. At least he has someone that cares about him that much.

Sol: In the park the tears have dried but a lump still sits in my throat. Hoping to get my mind off it I see a few guys from school, and make my way over. I stop though, when I see the orange glow of Cigs turning away to one of the iron benches. I pull out my screenie, I know Mika would be asleep but I tell her to call tomorrow, I havent talked to her in a while. I flip through my new messages and old news, and finally my pictures. I frown as I look at the old memories.

Alaric : When it becomes to late I walk Irvin to the front door. Not because i wanted to but because made me, which is stupid.
Before i close the door on him he stops it and i look up at his hand. "What?" I ask, confused.
"You know, you're a brat," He smiles and bends down to kiss me quickly. I was too shocked to punch him and too late to yell at him. He closed the door and i look at the floor, fuming. I hate my life, i think, my cheeks aflame.
