Alaric : I had enough, i was going to open my mouth to say 'get lost' to the chick but i realized it was someone i actually recognized kinda. I gaped a little. "Kody?"

Kody: I smile weakly. "yeah, it's..well, not me, but technically.." i look down at myself. even the clothes were..ugh. i pulled up my shirt. it was much too low for my liking and it just wasn't me.

Alaric : The last time i saw Kody in a skirt was when she was nine. "You look nice," I say, not getting a very good answering smile in return. "Self conscience?" I ask, already knowing the answer.

Kody: I frown. "you have no idea." i mutter. I just wanted to have a nice comfy hoodie on and a pair of my favorite jeans. but noooo..
this is what i get.
"I hate this." I mumble, laying my forehead down on the table with a dull thud.

kieran: as i try to get out of the car my dad tell to me " kieran your going on a date as corbin with one of my friend at work daughter and i'm taking you home and must you ready for that date"

Alaric : Hmm, that was weird. It seemed to be a growing tend with girls to not want to look like..girls. Maybe it was just being lazy not wanting to. I didn't understand anyway. "When does your date start?" I ask calmly.

Kody: "In about an hour or something," i turn my head to the side so i can look at him.

Alaric : I nod. Not sure of what to say so i settle with a , "Good luck," And an ear twitch.

Kody: I roll my eyes. "Thanks. I'm sure i'll need it." the truth was, i probably did.

kieran;once my dad stop the car at my house i started to ran but i stop by the new big and sharp teeth dogs he got and i back up in the house to get dress and ready as corbin

Kody: I wait at the table, my chin resting in my hand. oh this is fun. just sitting here. waiting. i glance over at the candle, watching it waver back and forth. then i look up as a waiter passes. i make a routine of looking places.
Candle. Waiter. Door. Clock. Candle. waiter. door. clock.
i think about blowing out the candle on my third or fourth round trip of looking around the room.

Alaric :
"I'll talk to you later," I say, paying the same waiter for the second time that day and standing. I give her a quick kiss on the forehead and get moving on out. I didn't need a driver that day because the restaurant was only a couple of streets away from my apartment.
I took the elevator straight up and opened the door with a swipe of my key-card.
Not surprising Irvin was already there.

kieran: finally got to there to my force date as corbin and i saw girl and when up to her " are you kody?"

Kody: I think about the kiss on the forehead from Alaric earlier...
wait, why am i thinking about that? it was simple goodbye..kiss..
i frown a bit. i put on a smile though when i see the guy that must be my date.
"Hi. yeah, I'm Kody." I say politely.

kieran;" i'm corbin lost i guess i'm your date for tonight" i said as i sat down at the table

Kody: I nod, looking up right on time as the waiter walks over. I should probably stop that now that the date has started.
"So, you're my mom's friend's son..." I inquire. small talk, not my thing.

kieran:"yes my dad will do anything to get me to meet new people" and away from naktia

Irvin : When i glance back at the door Alaric is finally here. He drops his shoes by the mat and hangs his sweater on the rack before coming over to sit with me.
"What are you doing now?" He asks, not mad but bored and a little tired i noted.
I show him the baby book, "I found this while i was going through some papers," I answer, turning the page to show him a picture of himself when he was around four.
"You look like a little girl," I tell him.
He scowls at me. "You shouldn't look through peoples things like that, its rude."
"Ah but i wasn't looking, it fell from your book shelf and i picked it up. I was being a good person," I smile.
He stares at me coldly. I sigh. "Do you want me to put it away?"
He doesn't say anything for a long moment but then finally shakes his head no. "Turn the page, i have a picture of Jonathan in there with Kody and me," He says.
I obey and see exactly what he says. Its a picture taken in mid summer, theres a breezes that had picked up Kody's hair and tousling John's auburn hair. Alaric is giggling in the middle of the two. Hes short for what i assume is a fourteen year old, i crack a small smile.
"Were you and Jon dating then?" He asks me suddenly. I don't look at him but nod a yes.
He sighs, "Kay.."
I feel awful. His step brothers and fathers servant or not...i couldn't really keep in the lines when Alaric was upset like this. I loop my arm around his shoulder and slowly he lets his head rest between my neck and shoulder. He sighs and i pet his ears. We stay like that for a long time until there are no more pictures to see.

Kody: i let out a light sigh. "At least your dad recognizes you as a relative. i swear half the time i'm with my mom she's wondering 'who is this teenage girl and what is she doing in my living room?' then i have to remind her that i'm her daughter." i frown again.

[Fallen rose]

kieran;" as she least forgets thats only thing i want my dad to do forget about me so i can live my life he way i want to"

Kody: I stare at him for a moment longer as the waiter pours us some golden drink that looks extra bubbly. i take it gently and lift it up, "Cheers to us," I say with a totally fake smile.

Alaric : " I found out something about myself today," I say to Irvin. He hasn't moved since i let my head rest on him, i was starting to worry that he had fallen asleep.
"What would that be?" He asks in a soft voice.
"That i am neither straight or gay. I like who i like and thats it," I say, my tail wraps around my arm.
"I see," He says thoughtfully and then turns to me to sooth my ears back. They drupe under his fingers and then pop back up when they're gone.
I nod. "So there. No need to push me into a category," I say to him with a proud grin.
He raises an eyebrow at me, "mhm."
I blush and groan. Something told me this guy was never going to let me win.
"Your cuts healed," Irvin suddenly says. hes reaches up to cup my chin while his other hand trails along side my jawline where the white bandage use to be.
I hadn't even thought of my cuts. "Oh yeah," I say and look at him in the eye but hes not looking at me anymore, his full attention is on the one part of my face.

Kody: I sip at my drink, wondering what else i'm supposed to do. so awkward...if it had been Alaric here, it would've been so much easier. I almost choke on my drink. I clear my throat, my eyes watering a little from the burning alcohol.
i kept thinking about him and it was driving me crazy!
i set my glass down after a few moments of trying to calm my burning throat.

kieran:" do you really want to be here on this date?"

Alaric : I try not to make a face when he moves my chin around. I can feel his breath on my bottom lip. A shivers shoots up my spine and makes my tail straighten out. In the next second i'm up. "Lets play video games or something," I say in a flustered voice.
Irvins eyes are still deep with an emotion i couldn't decipher when he answers, "Sure, that sounds fun."
My breathing is a little off i notice when i get a hold of the game counsel. I have to take a few deep breaths behind the door before going to set it up in the living room. I hand him a controller and sit on the other end of the living room to play.
