Alaric : I didn't know how to explain this in the right term. "Its...its just that i don't have a preference for either. Its either i like you or i don't," I say and suddenly feel my screenie buzz.
I glance under the table to open up a new message.

I blush and close my eyes tightly. How the hell did he know?

Sol: I nodded. So he just didn't like me, great. Biting my lip I went back to playing with the sugar packets, just waiting for our food to get here.

Dylan: I frowned and looked at Sol, knowing what he was thinking. I look back at Alaric, and the blush on his cheeks. What the hell is wrong with him. "Are you okay?"

Alaric : I glanced back up. Why did Sol always look so upset with me around? Ugh..what was the point if trying.
The food arrived at that moment. "Whats wrong now?" I ask, my cheeks empty of coloring and warmth.

Dylan: Alaric really didn't get it. I sighed and dug into my food.

Sol: "Oh, um." I looked up for a moment before quickly turning my gaze back down, "Just thinking about some issues a friend had yesterday. Sorry."

Alaric : I nod. "Okay, but i don't believe you," I say, looking at him from under my lashes.

Sol: What am suppose to say to that. Yes, Im lying, good job! Its good to know Im not good enough for you! Instead I pop a strawberry into my mouth as an excuse to not talk.

Alaric : I sigh exasperated. If he didn't want me around he could have said so. "I have to go," I say, standing. I grabbed my wallet and left the money for all our breakfast at the center of the table with the tip. "Have a nice day," I say, walking out.

Sol: Once he's gone I groan, laying my head on the table very close to my whip cream slathered waffles. "I suck."
"Yeah. Just a little."
I look up and glare at Dylan. "Kidding, kidding." I knew she was but I had messed everything up. My plates only half gone but I want to leave. "Can we go?" She doesn't answer, the waiter has already picked up the cash and we're out the door. Into my only sanctuary, the dueling arena.

Alaric : I don't go home.Instead i go to the beach again and lay in the sun for a long time.
Irvin ...he didn't have ears or a tail...which meant that if Sol took the pill he wouldn't have them either.
My ears flop to the side. I'm a sad kitten...how pathetic.
Why was Irvin such a whore? I couldn't even imagine it yet and i didn't really want to.
Upset i pull out my screenie and click in Kody's name to call.

Kody: I grumble when a call coming in makes my fingers twitch. I answer it glumly. "hello?" I croak. god, i sound like i'm dying. maybe i am. oh whatever. "This is Kody," I sit up in bed with a yawn.

Alaric took sol and dylan to an apology breakfast but irvin kinda made that bad and now they left and alaric went to the beach to think

Alaric : "You sound like you have another hangover," I say into the screenie. A seagull cries over my head and the waves crash over a near by bolder. "Do you want to come to the beach right now? I kinda need someone to talk to," I admit. I feel dumb for feeling so needy but i didn't want to be alone with myself any longer.

Kody: "Eh, ok. give me a few minutes to wake up and i'll be right over." I answer before hanging up on him and falling back on to my pillows. i wait 5 minutes before actually getting up and dressed. I grab a bottle of water before writing up a note and sending it to my mom's Catcher. I head out for the beach, walking. I glance over at my car wistfully. I guess i really have been neglecting her, but i decided not to worry about it.
just a few minutes away
i send to Alaric.

Alaric : My screenie beeps with a new message. She'll be here soon. I don't send anything back. I just get rid of my shirt and shoes and lay on my stomach to soak in the sun. My tail wags a little, my ears are sensitive the heat but they don't burn like a normal human's ears would.
Annoyed again i start texting Irvin who babbles on about baby pictures.

Kody: when i get there, i don't see him at first. then when i do, i almost fall over laughing. I sneak up beside him and reach down to scratch him between the ears. "Aww, how's my little kitty doing?" I ask him, laughing when he glares up at me. Hey, i'm not the one with the ears here. I scratch him under his chin like the way my real cat likes it. "Does that feel good?" i ask him like he's a little child.

Alaric : My cheeks fill up with color. dammit..it does feel nice. I scowl and move away from her, hugging my sweater. "Thats cruel and you know it," I say to her, slightly pouting.

Kody: I stretch out my legs in front of me and wiggle my toes. "I do," I glance over at him. "I also know how strange it is for you to be wanting my company to talk," I raise an eyebrow at him. "So, go ahead." i gesture for him to start.
