Re: X-Men character chat

Amara shrugged, even though it was clear Scarlett hadn't been asking anyone in particular. She looked at the pink, kitten-covered door. She thought it was kind of pretty actually. (Keep in mind, she's an eight-year-old girl, though. )

With a snap of his fingers, Tarrant had transformed the garden into a sprawling city. A few heroes stood on top of one of the buildings. Their names were Cheetah, Crimson Fury, and Twister. Such stupid names, such stupid heroes; they were better off dead. He'd done the world a kindness the last day they'd been alive. Looking around the fake city, up at the illusions of the heroes, one question bounced around his head: Should I? Should I? To do what he so very much wanted to would be to give into temptation, and break almost every rule Charles had set in place for him.

Scarlett sighed as she reached the front door of the... Big city? She walked forward, loads of teachers and students looking confused, "Tarrent,"she murmured as she ran down the street/path.

Amara ran after Scarlett. Where had this city come from? It shimmered slightly, like it wasn't quite all there.

Tarrant still sat on the bench, which had now become a bus stop. "Perhaps we'll let the heroes warm up a bit first," he murmured. He snapped his fingers and a masked robber appeared. "No, too weak." The robber melted into a murderder holding a bloodied knife. "Too simple." The murder split into multiple persons; the X-Men team. Tarrant smirked, "Hero fight anyone?" The three on the roof of the building leapt down, facing the X-Men.

"What's happening?" there was a large group in the middle induding... The X-Men? Scarlett looked at Amara, "Stay back," she nodded as she ran over, "Tarrent? What are you doing? This is stupid and dangerous!" she knew what she had to do; she had to touch him to copy his power so that she can stop the city and turn Mr Xavier's room manly again... Great. She slipped the gloves off and walked over.

Tarrant crossed his arms behind his head and leaned back on the bench. "Eh, stupid maybe, but not dangerous," he said. With one hand, he gestured for Illusion-Wolverine to come over. "He's not completely real at the moment," Tarrant explained. He turned to Wolverine, "Please try and cut this bench in half." Its claws sliced through the air and passed through the bench as if it were a ghost. "See? It's not real or dangerous unless I want it to be." He looked at Wolverine, "Please try again." This time, the claws sliced half of the bench to bits. The half Tarrant was sitting on stayed up. He waved Wolverine away. "Perfectly safe," he said to Scarlett. Then he put a hand to his chin, pondering. "You know what would be more fun?" he trailed off absently. He snapped his fingers again, and the city turned into the Roman colliseum. The heroes were all in the arena, everyone else was in the seats. Tarrant sat in the emporer's box.

"Great, I can't get up there..." she sighed, then she realised she was in the middle of all this... Could she copy illusion's powers? Don't think so... Shame her mind control at moment was quite bad.

Tarrant stood up and addressed the crowd. "Friends, Romans, countryman," he said grandly, "Let the games begin." The Illusion X-Men began fighting the Illusions of the three dead heroes. Tarrant secretly hoped that Charles saw this. All that was missing from this game was the actual X-Men. The thought of how ticked off the real Wolverine would be brought a smirk to his face.

Scarlett sighed and looked around, maybe gymnastics was gonna help her? She looked around and ran up a wall, flipping onto the bars and further up, Tarrent was a high way up. With a deep breath, she leapt up and pulled herself onto the next level; this was gonna take a while.

Tarrant eagerly watched the fight he was orchestrating. Crimson Fury let out his Super-Screech thing, which Tarrant had never quite understood the purpose of. All it did was annoy Wolverine. Wolverine, in turn, shoved his claws into Crimson Fury's neck and jerked upward. Crimson Fury's head went flying off. It dissolved, as did its body, back into nothingness.
Twister caused a tornado to appear in between all the other X-Men while Cheetah ran around them, the opposite way of the tornado. They were trying to suffocate the X-Men. A good move, if not for Storm. She did her wheather thing and cause the tornado to pick up Twister and send him flying. He dissolved in mid-air.

(@Gifted: Well, Tarrant finally taught a class that didn't end in a huge explosion or the emotional scarring of a student. But, he got upset at Charles Xavier for not telling him about this huge problem that involves the X-Men. So now he's made copies of the X-Men and three other heroes that he had a history with and is making them fight in a mock Roman colliseum. Sapphire would be sitting in the stands watching the fake heroes duke it out, I guess.)

Now it was Cheetah against all the X-Men. Cheetah hesitated a second than ran away from them, full speed. Out of fear, she ran up on the inside wall and ran around and around and around the stadium. Tarrant frowned, Now that's just sad.

Sapphire: I sat in the stands, away from the others, so I could spread out my wings. The show was weird, but I dont ever do anything like this so some people might like it.

Scarlett finally dragged herself onto his leave absolutly knackered, "Tarrent... stop it... now!" she panted as he was lying down being fed grapes, "Nice."

Tarrant looked over at Scarlett. "Yeah, I thought the ladies and grapes might be a bit much, but I was hungry." He shrugged. Then he looked down at the arena just in time to see Wolverine get fed up with watching Cheetah run around and stab her. She dissolved just as the other two had. Tarrant stood up and said boredly, "And the X-Men win. Whoop-de-doo. Big surpirise." He looked at Scarlett, "And I should stop... why? Ol' Charlie hasn't come out to watch yet; neither have the X-Men. I think they would have enjoyed seeing themselves in a hero v.s. hero fight." He shrugged again, "Oh, well." Turning to the crowd, he said, "Unless anyone else wants to fight the X-Men, you can all go now."

"Now that is getting dangerous!" she stood and looked at him, fully dressed for the occation with a toga and a reath... Great. She snatched a bunch of grapes and starting picking them off, they tasted like... grapes. With a sigh she stared at him, "Ah, who am I kidding? High-five!"

Tarrant high-fived Scarlett then looked back out at the stadium. He had changed his mind about the show being over. He snapped his fingers and a huge door in the side of the colliseum slowly opened. One of the nameless Roman women in the emporer's box offered Scarlett a box of popcorn. Smoke poured out of the door, a loud battle cry pierced the air, and roughly fifty gladiators thundered in.

Sapphire: I looked at them. wow, show offs. I probobly could never do anything like that but I could definantly avoid fights. Unless I didn't have enough space to fly. Well I could just shape shift, unless someone put silver on me... I could always use my elements. Even molecular structure... if I had to.

Scarlett rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers, the illustion slowly dissolving, "Sorry sir," she smiled as they returned to ground level, "Amara?" she called and ran over to her, "Are you alright?" she felt like a big sister now.

Tarrant crossed his arms and glared after Scarlett. A student copying a teacher's powers? That was bound to be against the rules. He was almost certain that Charles would put the kabosh on that as soon as he found out.
Tarrant himself hadn't actually ended up breaking any rules. In short, he wasn't allowed to do anything that police could arrest him for. Everything he had done had been perfectly legal.

Sapphire: I left the stands, it was just to weird. I changed into a small bird and flew to the gardens, I loved it there, a wide open field with flowers and a nice breeze I could make up.

Amara looked at Scarlett and nodded, "Mm-hmm." She looked around, the stadium had completely dissolved. "What was all that about?" she asked, confused.

Tarrant walked back to Charles' office. He snapped his fingers and the door's "decorations" melted away.

Sapphire: I landed in the gardens and changed back to normal, me with wings, ya perfectly normal. I looked around to see if anyone was there and then took off. Soaring up through the clouds making the air currents shift around me.
