Ari frowned, "Are you truly mute? Or do you just not care..." He paused in his kisses. She would normally respond with something witty and they'd end up having sex. Just the way he liked it, but she refrained from it today. Had he done something wrong?

Amelia went for them, feeling her need to change the subject slither in again. Not a comfortable ground with her, she wasn't used to it and thus it was dangerous.

Dean sighed softly and looked down.

Angel wasn't looking at him but more at the calendar hanging on the closet door in her sights. She knew what day it was. Her heart seemed to break as her lower lip trembled and her eyes watered.

Amelia looked back, a handful of chips stuffed in her mouth and a handful of chips waiting in her fingers. She kept looking at him then the floor then the chips, her mind swirling, expecting him to leave her at any moment; bored with her since she told him her feelings. Ugh.
This was the type of insecure that she hated to be.

Ari followed her gaze and grimaced, he was an asshole. He grabbed her gently and pulled her into his lap, holding her and preparing himself for her tears.
The anniversary of her parent's death.

Tears filled blue hues, skin started to sweat, and her heart would start to quicken. "Mommy... Daddy..."
The blonde started to whimper and then began to sob, staring at the picture on their dresser: her mom and dad on their wedding day with her brothers in their arms. She reached out for it blindly, crying.

Dean got up, walking towards her, and took the bag from her with a loud sigh. He ate a few chips, looking at her.

Ari grabbed it for her, putting it into her shaking hands and holding her tight. This day was always one of the roughest days in the whole year, usually she and her brothers got together on this day.
He stroked her hair gently.

Amelia pouted a bit, watching him before shuffling closer to grab a handful.
"Sorry.." She muttered.

"For what?" he asked, green hues gazing at her as he bit down on a chip lazily.

Angel held the picture close to her chest as she sobbed, curling up, drawing her knees up. "Why did you have to leave me..?"

"For being so...difficult.." She admitted with a gruff sigh as she rubbed her temples.

Ari kept silent, it was best to just leave her to her sobs at this point, aside from cuddling there was little he could do to make her feel better.

After a good hour of nothing but sobs and screams and words that couldn't be understood, Angel laid in his arms after crying herself to sleep, the tears still continuing.

"You're not," he whispered, setting the bag down and holding her close to him.

Ari laid himself down, pulling her down with him, and held her to his chest with a tired sigh. He loved her so much, but there was no debate that she was a bit damaged.

"I am. I am very difficult." She stated, nodding along with her words.

"Why didn't I die..?" she whispered, tears falling as she opened her eyes. "I...I should have..."

A kiss was planted to her hair. "I don't mind it."

Ari took that as his moment to jump in, kissing her swiftly. "Don't ever say that.. You're alive because you needed to bring our beautiful baby girl into the world and make a family with me. You're alive because you have so much to live for." He murmured, caressing her face.

"Good.. cause we're pretty much married at this point." She grumbled.

Dean chuckled a little, smiling a little. "I guess..," he whispered, tilting her chin up and kissing her softly.

She began to sob again.

Amelia kissed back. There was the truth of it all; they were technically married due to her sloppy lack of control.
But she did love him.

Ari shook his head and just held her, "Never... never, never..."

Ari grimaced lightly, the pain was back. It came and went, he hadn't told Angel about it as it was never as bad as the first time.
He knew Amelia got it too.
He was afraid but he didn't need Angel to be, he loved her too much.

Amelia gripped onto his shirt as the feeling of pain echoed through her, she had told Dean a while back that it was just really bad heart burn.
She grimaced at it, what was actually happening?

Angel looked up at him worriedly. "A-Ari..? Wh-what's wrong?" she whimpered, eyes scared for her fiance.

Dean frowned down at her. "Ameila? Amy, talk to me," he whispered, looking at her.

Ari stroked her hair and bit his lip, "Just a bit of chest pain, love, no big deal..."
He said his words carefully through gritted teeth, the feeling close to having a bad cramp.

"Chest pain again.. like before.." She grunted, one hand pressed against her sternum.
What did it mean?

Dean frowned and picked her up slowly, taking her to the bedroom. "Will laying down help?"

Amelia shrugged, "I dunno.. I don't know what's going on here.. It's not a normal thing.."

Dean looked even more worried by this as he laid her down and held her close to him, his chin atop her head. "Just take deep breaths."

Angel cried a bit, lower lip trembling as she watched him. She was about to speak when their daughter began to cry again. She quickly went to Lina and picked her up, holding her close as she returned to Ari, sitting close to him, in front of him.

Amelia laughed quietly, "I know, baby,"
Her chest ached, but after a moment if began to grow warm. Not painfully, but the kind of warm you feel when you press your finger up to a light.
In fact, her chest began to glow.
She sputtered and began to flap her arms about in shock.

Ari's back arched lightly, his body taking on the same ethereal glow as Amelia's.
He then knew, they were evolving.

Angel backed off with a yell, eyes wide as she cradled a crying Lina close to her chest, protectively. "Ari!"

Dean sat up with wide eyes, watching with worry and fear and curiosity and awe at the same time.

Ari groaned and his body shifted into his wolf form, a form he had suppressed for quite a while, he hadn't had the time to shift.
Now wasn't really a good time either.
Something was different though, he hadn't changed in such a long time that he had forgotten the feeling of his own fur.
His pelt seemed different this time.

Amelia's body began to shift, she cried out in surprised as she realized her body was changing.
But not into it's regular form/

Dean backed up to give her some room, never seeing her like this before. Frankly, he was actually fearful, only a little though. His training of protecting Ameila never prepared him for certain things like this.

Angel sniffled, tears dripping down. "A-Ari..," she whimpered, watching him as wings unfurled from her back and wrapped around herself as if shielding Lina. She had to be careful, just in case he wasn't in the correct mindset.

Amelia cried out as her muscled rippled and finally the pain stopped, her body shook with the effort to breathe. Her fur was dark, thick, different from her normal grey pelt.
She did not feel the hunger nor the craze that came with a full moon or even the wildness that came with her life as a werewolf.
She felt like a predator, everything seemed a bit sharper, even her claws.
A growl rumbled in her throat.
What had happened?

Ari's eyes glowed red, his form practically identical to Amelia's, and he closed them.
Through the surge of power he felt shame. Shame for scaring his mate, the loyalty to her stronger than ever before.
This was an evolution, but what brought it on?
Through a few moments of deep concentration he managed to push himself back into his human form, collapsing onto the bed, exhausted.

Angel trembled a little as she watched, cradling Lina and rocking her gently, trying to calm her down, to ease her cries so she wasn't scared as well.
"It's okay, sweetie... Daddy will be just fine." She sniffled and turned her gaze back up to her fiance, not knowing that her eyes were glowing red as well, her bite mark on the crook of her neck, aching slightly.

Dean frowned worriedly and went to her hesitantly, petting her coat slowly. "Ameila..? Baby..?" His bite mark was aching from their imprint, and he grimaced, touching it.
