Declan grimaced at the badly handled situation and paid the cabby, tugging along the reluctant and grumbling Benji with him. They followed the girls to another little park, one with benches were Angel sat crying into Taylor's arms.
Before Declan could open his mouth to produce soothing words Benji stepped forward, his arms crossed.
Declan already could tell what he was going to say, he also knew he couldn't stop him.
"Let's not play this little game of who had it worse. It's stupid and everyone ends up sad, lonely, and bitter. Believe me, I've played it enough. Let's not ruin this happy reunion with harsh words either. I don't really care right now how badly you were treated in the past because it's in the past. There is nothing I can fucking do about it, nothing you can do about it. What is done, is done. Let's just go get some food. I'm starved." Benji announced evenly.
He raised an eyebrow.
He knew how she felt, he had felt it too, before when he was still.... wild, he knew it wouldn't help anything. He tilted his head and waited for the response, having caused a stunned silence.

Angel stood up and gave him a slight push with a yell. "Don't tell me that! Don't tell me that it's in the past because it's not! It's not for me! I have to fucking live with the memories everyday and I can't...I-I can't..," she paused and sobbed, falling to her knees. She shook as she scratched her wrists roughly.
Taylor had seen this before and it crushed her heart to know that their little sister was just as scared and bad as their mother was. Slowly, she lowered to her knees beside her and cradled her close, looking at Benji with sad eyes.
"What happened to us..? We used to be so close..."

Benji gave a rough sigh and shook his head, " It's called death. It does that to people. Memories are memories, they can be locked away. We still are close in the fact that we share memories. I choose to remember the good ones.. but whatever.. Declan already knows where I'm staying, I'm gonna.. go.. I just.. yeah." He turned and walked away, head ducked before Declan could stop him.
Benji wasn't one for comfort.
He didn't get it, he didn't really understand it.

Declan was torn, reaching for his twin, who he knew would be more or less fine with a few beers and a nap, and aiding his little sister who he knew so very little about.
He looked at Taylor with a grimace.
What were they going to do?
He prodded her mind lightly, hoping that she caught his message.

Taylor nodded and gestured her head to their weeping younger sister. Slowly, she let her go.
[i]Try talking to Ang, okay? Maybe you can help her open up,[i] she responded softly in his mind before going after Benji.

Declan crouched down, squatting next to Angel before dropping to his bum in the dusty gravel path.
He reached under her chin and raised her face so she could look at his concerned face.
"Hey... Benji... He didn't really mean what he said.. He loves you, we all love you. I don't really mind about what you've had to do..the bad stuff at least.. I just want to let you know that I won't let anything like that happen to you again. Okay? I'm here now.." He murmured softly, stroking her tear stained cheek.

Benji tossed a glance back and let out a gruff grunt to acknowledge to Taylor, though he didn't stop. He dug his hands deeper into his ripped jeans and ducked his head.
He hated how he treated things, he was too rough.

"Benji..," she sighed and began to walk with him, her eyes sad. "Look, I understand what you said back there...Im...I'm not saying that it was right but I'm not saying that it was wrong either." She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and made him stop.
"Talk to me, Benji...."

Angel let out a sob and hugged her brother, shaking as she did so.
"Why does everybody hate me..?"

Benji turned roughly and stopped, looking at her with hardened eyes.
"Feeling sorry for one's self is only okay for so long, there's a time when you just have to stand up and walk away from the past, tell it to go fuck itself. I'm just.. I'm not good at... comfort... I.. don't know how to deal with it." He grumbled, clenching his hands into fists.
He looked Taylor's eyes, "I can't be Declan.."

Declan on the other hand was doing okay in the comfort area, stroking Angel's back and holding her close.
"No one does, we love you. What makes you think that anyone hates you?" He asked softly.

"Benji...No one is asking you to be Declan," Taylor spoke softly. She placed one of her hands over his clenched one, eyes looking into his. "I...I don't know what happened to you...I don't know why it happened either. But...Remember how Angel looked up to you? How she stuck by you more than we did? She needs you Benji. And...to he honest...you really know her better than anyone else." She gave him one of her gentle smiles in hopes of comforting him.

Angel trembled as she looked at him, big blue eyes wide. "I've been hated ever since...ever since M-Mom and Dad..." She choked up and looked down, placing a shaking hand over her mouth. Her eyes shut tightly.

Benji let out a gruff sigh, "That was when we were little.. clearly we've grown apart.. I mean.. I've grown hard and though she puts on a brave face she's like glass.. I don't want to break her with my clumsiness..."
He sunk a little deeper into himself in defeat.

Declan frown and shook his head.
"Who told you that? Why do you think that? We love you, none of us have ever hated you..." He murmured softly.

"Benji, she needs you. Yes, that was back when we were younger but she needs you more than ever. Remember how Mom always had her attacks? Dad was the only one to get through to her. That's you Benji..." Taylor moved her hand from his fist to his shoulder. "Come on...lets go back to her. Okay?"

Taylor whimpered and sniffled. "Foster Dad was Jasper. Drunk and abusive. Foster mother was Jenny. Whoring herself off and just watched. They kept contact with your parents. Tried to get me to go to one of your families. Said that you all didn't want to be with me...ever...that you all hate me..."

Benji swore, but nodded gruffly after a moment, letting Taylor lead him back. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
"I.. I just don't know what I can say.." He whispered softly. Scared.

Declan Shook his head almost violently and pulled her into his arms, kissing her head. "No.. No Angel..We missed you.. We love you.." He murmured soothingly.
He grimaced inwardly though, how could lives that were once together split apart so easily? How could they dive off such different ends of life?

Angel held onto his arms as she sobbed, tears quickly gliding down her pale, almost fragile looking cheeks. " I Th-Thought... Y-You All... Hated Me! " She shook violently, her hands over her face.

Taylor looked at Benji, quickly taking his hand. " Just Be There For Her. But Don't Be So Harsh. I... I Know What She Went Through. She Is No Where Near Healing. She Needs Us. "

Declan stroked her back and looked up as Benji and Taylor neared. He gave them a sad look.
"We love you, sweetie." He murmured once more.
Declan held onto her and frowned at the thought of indecent human beings, of the scum of the earth and how many people who are actually decent are stuck with the bad ones.

Benji looked to Taylor and then to Angel with a grimace. "Hey... Sorry.. about earlier.. I just.. got baggage too y'know.." He mumbled to the ground trying to over look the fact that she was sobbing.
He was never good with tears.

Bright blue eyes gazed at her brother's as she sobbed, pain and sadness and loneliness written all over her features.

Taylor looked close to tears herself as she couldn't do anything but watch as their younger sister said these words.

Benji shook his head.
"Nah.. No Angel.. I just wanted all you guys to be okay.. I love you all..." He mumbled. He rubbed his face awkwardly.
He looked off to the side and sighed, greatly uncomfortable with the moment. He really did love them... but.. he.. just.. couldn't tell them.

Declan smiled lightly, nodding at his brother as he attempted to sooth his little sister. "We all do.." He reassured.

Taylor nodded in agreement then knelt beside them, stroking Angel's hair. But then she noticed something... strange.
"Angel..?"
The Blonde looked at Taylor tearfully. The two spoke within each others minds, as Angel requested so desperately. She broke down into tears once more and the brunette held their younger sister close but carefully too.
"Shh... It's okay... It's going to be okay... We'll help you through this... "
"I-I need to get ahold... Of Ari and his brother...and Ameila. Please..."

Benji had sat next to Declan confusedly, frowning at his missing part in the conversation.
"What?" He murmured.
Declan frowned too, the two girls blocking him from the conversation, he was left to stare at Benji.
"I have them Ari on my phone I think... It's been a while.." He murmured, still confused.

They're dating each other. He's the only one that's helped her through this. She finished in their heads.

Declan slipped out his phone quickly and dialed, pursing his lips as he did, a nervous/contemplative habit if you will.
Benji sat there numbly, still unsure in how to broach the subject.

Angel watched Declan with desperate eyes, hoping that her boyfriend would pick up.

Ari picked up his buzzing phone with a groan. It was his day off.
At the sight of the caller ID he practically dove for the accept button.
"Angel? Baby? You alright?" He asked quickly, panicking a bit.
She never really called him unless it was major.

Declan and Benji sat between the urge to tell this kid off and to thank him for keeping Angel safe... for the most part.

Amelia rubbed her eyes and stretched, her back beginning to cramp up from a long day at work and her suddenly throwing it into exercise.
She knew that if she didn't drain her energy she'd change.
She wouldn't, and couldn't, let that happen.

Angel quickly held the phone to her ear as she wept, Taylor still hugging her. "Ari...Ari..."
There wasn't much she could say at this moment yet other than sob from the emotions within her.
"I'm s-so scared!!"
Taylor shushed her softly, rocking her gently and slowly in the comforting way her mother would.
She explained to Declan and Benji how Angel caught up with June and Jason's sons and daughter when she was in eighth grade and how she mostly spent the night at their home. They were lucky enough to not be separated.

Ari held the phone close, worried beyond belief, cradling it like a life line.
"Angie...What's going on? Do you need me to get you? Where are you? Ange...?" He asked, mind racing over all that could be wrong.

"H-How soon...can you get...to England?" she spoke through sobs, sniffling and crying.
She gripped her locket, which held one picture of her parents and siblings while the other had a picture of her and Ari from their date at the winter formal three years ago in their Freshman year.
"Ari...Please...Everything hurts...I can't focus...I can't..."

Taylor rubbed her back gently then looked to Benji and Declan.

Ari had begun to throw on pants and grab his 'Go' bag as she sobbed. He checked his watch again with a grimace.
"I'll be there in twelve or so hours, love. As soon as possible.." He promised, running down the stairs of his apartment.
"Stay together, I'll be there soon..."

Declan cleared his throat. "We should get back to one of our hotels, shall we go back to mine? It has a good amount of space...enough for all of us.." He offered.
Benji shrugged, he hadn't even booked a place yet.

Amelia shook her head, trying to rid it of the damn buzzing that scratched at her insides. It had been going on for a month or two now and she knew it wasn't because of her... other half.
It bugged her to no end though..
