(Kay. I'm gonna do a synopsis of what happened in there.)

Ichigo laughed as his little girl hauled herself to her feet, watching his movement as he trained and attempted to mimick them. She'd grown so in the past few months that he couldn't help but still marvel about how much more she looked like him every day, albiet with her mother's peircing gray eyes.

Ashina continued to train for a long time, becoming skilled in hand-to-hand combat before it became a health risk for the baby, at which time she was sentenced to four months of bed rest, where she lay now, sighing, "You know, this is really fuckin' boring.." she huffed softly, "and I can actually get up every now and then. I'm not totally helpless, Renji."

Renji chuckled and gave her a faint lopsided smile. "I know you're not. But I promised you that I was going to help out more often. That, and I wanna make sure everything goes fine with the baby. You do remember what Isshin said, right? Listen to the instructions, bed-rest," he emphasized, "and take occasional walks. You...do remember that part yeah?" His voice then had a joking tone, a sparkle in his eyes.

Orihime watched from one of the chairs in the backyard with a smile, giggling at the now eight month old. "She's learning fast," she remarked to her husband, watching as he trained though there was a sense that some of her smile was fake. The nightmares were more often now and each time, she woke up screaming and in a cold-sweat.
Worry was now making a home within the pit of her stomach as she couldn't help but think that their fairy-tale life was simply coming to an end.
And Muramasa is still out there...Ulquiorra is still in my head from time-to-time...Aizen-sama is still out there too... And then she stiffened, realizing what she had just called the former Soul Reaper.
I can't think like that...I'm not under his spell anymore...right?

She pouted, "And you seem to have forgotten the occasional walks Mr. Over-protective..." she scolded warmly, "I've been trapped in this bed for weeks!" She huffed and threw one of her pillows at him.

He smiled and paused to take a deep drink of water and wipe his sweaty forehead with a towel before going to pick up his daughter, "Are you gonna be daddy's little soul reaper?"

He easily caught the pillow with a sigh. "I'm sorry," he murmured. "I just wanna make sure everything is done right and everything is okay."
He sat down beside her, running a hand through his hair. "And I know I've been on a lot of missions lately...I'm sorry for that too, Ashina-chan..."

Orihime frowned when she heard this and thought in the back of her head, Oh, no...I don't want her to go down that path... She watched as Misaki giggled and clapped her hands, nodding. "H-Hai!" she cried, making her mother's eyes widen.
"M-Misaki..? Wh-What did you just say?" she questioned breathlessly, racing to her daughter's side.
She looked to her mother and clapped her hands again. "Hai!"

Ashina sighed softly, reaching up and taking his hand gently and placing it over her round stomach just in time for a soft kick, "Renji, do you feel that? That's a sign that everything's as it's supposed to be. As long as it's moving and kicking, everything's okay. And, I'm a mom. If something's wrong I'll know okay? I promise to let you know if something happens. As for the missions, it's okay. I understand. If I wasn't the one on bed rest, I'd be out there too."

Ichigo laughed softly and picked her up, "Your first word, baby girl," he said as he looked to Orihime with a grin.

Renji gasped at the feeling of the soft kick against his palm. Tears filled his as he smiled a shaky smile. He hadn't felt their baby kick before, and if he did then it was in the beginning of her pregnancy and it had only been once or twice. He then leaned down and kissed her tummy before nuzzling his forehead against the round baby bump carefully. "I'm gonna try to be a good daddy for you, baby...I promise...I'm gonna take care of you and your mommy and love you both forever..," he whispered softly before turning his gaze up to Ashina. "I'm going to be there when this baby comes, whatever it takes. Even if I have to beg Byakyua or give up my powers. I'll do it. I'll be there," he swore.

Orihime was smiling happily but now she was afraid. Her daughter had just, indirectly and probably unintentionally, said that she wanted to be a soul reaper like her father. "I-Ichi...I...she...she-"
The burnt orange-haired woman was cut off by three overwhelming spiritual pressures merging and heading their way.

She smiled softly, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him down for a loving kiss. She felt tears sliding from the corners of her eyes. She didn't know why, but she wasn't scared any more. She was eager for their baby to arrive in what would be two months. "I love you..." she whispered softly as she pulled her lips away.

Ichigo frowned, feeling it too as he looked up, pulling his daughter close to him, "I know..." he answered what she'd been trying to say, "If that's really what she wants to do when she's older, we don't have to right to stop her, but for now, I don't think she's quite ready to go reaping souls. Take her into the house.

He pulled his lips away from hers and nuzzled her forehead. "I love you too...So much, Ashina-chan."

Orihime lifted the eight month old Misaki into her arms, eyes wide. She then froze, hearing a familiar, "Hello, Orihime."
Her eyes widened and she slowly turned, seeing Ulquiora.

She smiles tenderly up at him as the baby kicks against his palm as if saying, "What about me?!"

Ichigo turned on his heels with a snarl, stepping between them, "You stay away from her!" he hissed summoning his blade (that I still don't know the name of but which looks lik a buster sword) as he shifted into soul-reaper form.

Orihime whimpered and held Misaki closer to her body, cowering a little behind her husband.

"Orihime..," another voice spoke. She yelped and turned around, shaking as she saw Muramasa.

Renji nodded and smiled, stroking her stomach lovingly.
