She softly moved so she was sitting in his lay, legs draped over the leg oposite her body, one hand resting on her stomach. She knew it was too early to see even the slightest bump but still...it would happen eventually.

Ichigo seemed to have been stirred by her unrest and rolled over grogilly, "Whassamatter, babe?"

She sighed and sat up, running her hands through her hair for a moment. "I can't sleep," she murmured softly.

Renji placed his hand over hers. "I'm going to be by your side," he whispered, breaking the silence. "I'm going to help make sure we take every precaution."
