Domain Name/Forum Transfer

I'm 90% sure this matter has been discussed in the past, and was fired down last time, but I've noted that some of us are willing to roll with the flow if it's going to aid in the long run. There's two options that can be taken to do this. Option 1 states that I can talk to name.com about exchanging one of my outdated domain names for a new one, there's a chance they wont and several other things that can get in the way, but that's the first option, overall it's probably the easiest and most sane one too. Alternatively, I have webhosting for envilo.net and if popularity says yes to the idea, I can try to set up a new forum on envilo.net and we could try to transfer everything there and start as a new forum. There's plenty of disadvantages and advantages to that, and risk and ease in the other, so choose what you guys think we should do.

Domain Change -

Advantages:
Chance that the forum will no longer be categorized as a forum.
Easiest form of change
No more canadian-forum.com at the end of the name

Disadvantages:
Chance of being turned down
Old members would have difficulty returning
Would require regular renewal


Forum Transfer:

Advantages:
Fresh Start
Different forms of leadership
Better recruiting capabilities
Rules would be removed and only restricted to U.S. Federal laws
Back ups would be available
More features

Disadvantages:
Work would take a while to completely renew what this forum has built
The forum would be a fully Fresh Start.
I'd probably need 1 more admin (Not including Me, Admin, and Kaityy) to help get it running properly.

Nya~ you guys are the one's deciding. I'm completely neutral on the subject, option 2's main advantage is it would remove ALL categorization unless I add in. They're both equal work on my end.

There's no way to transfer everything. But that's why I set up the external migration section. Any going RP's can set up there and continue on their business.

BTW! if you just type forum.envilo.net it will go to the envilo forum's index, from there you can just click the one that says charchat and it will bring you to the forum.
