Meh. It's come to my attention (As in my school finally caught up) that schools finally found a way to block our forum at school sites. Being the techy admin I'm taking on the task to fight the filters. There are multiple ideas we can use to fight any blocks and that I have access to. I may be the only one left that uses school computers to log on, in which case I'll leave things as is, but if you guys want to be able to log on at school, I'll start playing some card tricks .

Before I start is there even anyone else who logs in from school, or do we at least feel this would be a useful step at getting active members?

(Also yes I know most schools are out, but it's best to set up during the summer when you have time to focus at finding loopholes)

I approve of both opinions. Even though my school hasn't blocked it doesn't mean they might keep it that way. So, I don't know. I'm able to log on at school.

My school just got their new firewall and it blocked it. My school is an easy solution to log on again though. If one more person accepts I'll list off a couple immediate changes I can make to improve it.

Meh so they're available for view. Quickest troubleshooting for my school would be to change the domain name, and delete a meta tag. But if anyone else has issues logging on they'd need to send me a screenshot or some kind of picture of what they see when they try to go on and I would make counter ideas from there.

I know my schools have had it blocked all year. I vote go for it because that's my primary go to during the day for this site.

Alright. So that's enough for me to begin troubleshooting. @Invisible what is it saying when you block it. I'm probably going to need to picture to find the issue, but we'll start with just you trying to explain it.

It was about the way it's listed or something.

Hmm. Is it listed as forum? Or does it even tell you what it's listed as? That's an easy fix, all I have to do is remove the right meta.

Sometimes it says forum. Others, I can get around it. Depends on how old the computer is.

Alright. Simple fix for you, check it whenever you can. I'll fix your issue now.

For an update. I did take out the forum categorization, so that should fix your issue, I tried again at my school and I'm still blocked so I'm going to first try a redirect on envilo.net but we may wish to look into a domain change as the .ca is being seen as a proxy(Which yes it is lol). This isn't a difficult process I can probably make an exchange for one of my reserved domains for anything we vote on.

Ha, my school had always blocked this site (but never inkpop or figment fortunately) and it either says its (I can't remember which one):

"Blogging"
"Forums"
"Illegal/Questionable/Tasteless"
That last one always makes me giggle when it crops up

Anyway, I'm going to college so that little titbit doesn't really matter and you can only use the computers in the library there for homework or you get shouted at really badly. I just go on at home either on my brother's PC or on my phone/iPod so just as long as I can still get onto the site (and the process is legal!) I approve of any changes too.

And as for the new motto/tagline/thing under the title, I approve
