Cassie flinched a bit, shoulders hunching at the comment. She didn't know whether Melody did it deliberately or unentintionally, but it still hurt. Honestly, it felt like a personal did at her. Cassie got the feeling Melody didn't perticularly like her.

Kennet leaned against the bar eyes roving over the guy. "Damn!" He said. "Wonder if he'd be open minded when under the influence."

Sam smirked behind his glass as he sipped at the drink. Even if it did taste like sugary shit, he would still surely say it tasted like liquid gold. Fortunately he didn't need to act.
"I taste some Peach Schnopps, vodka, obviously, and a bit of lime..." he said, smacking his lips to try and get the rest of the flavours, "Whatever it is, it's bloody good, Molly. You'll have to pass me the recipe."
And with a wink, he continued to look around the bar, spying to see if there were any ladies about that he could...chat to, per say.

Cassie sighed and went to the bar. "Hi, could I have a huge shot of just straight Vodka and another one of straight Tequila please? Thank you."
(I only drink alcohol straight.)

Molly smiled and poured the shots, "Treat them with care. Sam, thanks."
She smiled, she really meant it, it was nice to be appreciated and with her little insecure moment earlier she still needed to know she was needed.
She hated being needy but she was a hypocrite after all.

Cassie laughed a bit and knocked them back without so much as a flinch. "You know what? Give me a mix of like whiskey scotch vodka and tequila in the biggest glass you got. I desperately need to get slammed tonight."

Molly shrugged, "I'll need your keys then, club policy."
Molly outstretched her hand towards Cassie politely, her other hand reaching towards the liquor. She enforced the key rule religiously, she had known too many people to think they were okay to drive and end up in the city morgue, she had to identify a few of her friends there.
And her ex was in a coma because of it.
Not that she cared.
Well.. she did.
No she didn't.
It didn't matter, she didn't have to think about him now.

Cassie shrugged. "I walked with a friend. I don't have a car." I said, but handed her my work keys. "But, I've been known to do stupid stuff when drunk. Like spray paint my Boss' modeling studio purple."

Molly, pursed her lips and frowned, empathetic with the woman. She knew what that was like, although not the drunk part.

Cassie smiled. "It's easy if you like what you're doing. In all fairness, all actors have personality disorders. We have our emotions locked up inside and we act to let them out."

Melody skipped a few steps forward to greet Sam properly; she was too busy eyeing up the red-head when he first came in. "What do you think you're doing, mister?" she asked playfully, going on tip toes to put her finger on his nose. "I don't remember inviting you." She giggled, biting the inside of her lip.

Fletcher went to sit with Blaize, seeing as nobody really knew whether Melody was coming or going. "How's life treating you?" he asked, opening with a good ol' bit of phatic talk.

With a smirk, the boy still leaning on the bar. To be honest, he wasn’t expecting that. He still didn’t know about the whole Melody thing.
“Since when have I needed to have an invite to go to a bar on cocktails night? Surely a bloke can do that by himself, right, Emily?”
Moving his nose out of the way, he gently nipped her digit playfully, shaking it about a bit as though he was a dog that just got hold of a rabbit, all before letting go. Hey, if she was going to be like that, what was wrong with playing around a little bit? It wasn’t going to result to anything, anyway.

The girl just nodded at him, “Not too shabbily, thanks.”
Taking a sip of her drink, the girl hid her grimace behind the glass; she didn’t really like Fletcher all that much, and the girl that was downing her troubles next to her peed her off more than anyone, and Melody was too busy flirting with her roommate... She had to make do with she had.
“How’s life going for you?”

Molly sighed and grimaced as she heard the clatter of her phone onto the floor, she must have knocked it over. She turned and bent over to pick it up, cursing at the fact that the battery had broken out of the back and was somewhere on the floor. She started cursing at the fates, why of all times did her phone have to break? In the middle of the busy shift!
If she didn't find it now she could step on it or worse.
She couldn't afford a new phone!

Cassie, after her fill of glorious alcohol, went to scout the decent dance partners. She randomly grabbed someone and pulled them out to the dance flood. She studdied the features of the boy. She cracked a smile. "I'd recognise that deer in the headlight stare anywhere. Lance, right?"
