"Thank you. Now if you excuse me, I've got to get to class." She began to walk away. The fewer who know her, the easier this year would be. Plus, preppy people scare the crap out of her. She doesn't want to do anything to be the topic of discussion.

She quickly entered the classroom before the tardy bell rang. She sighed in relief. She went to the teacher, interduesd herself and smiled poiletly. "Lydia Davids, the trasfer student. It's a pleasure to be under your teachings," She smiled.

The teacher smiled back and then looked at Venna. "Children, calm down. And Ms. Venna, do you have a pass this time?" She said as if this happens everyday.

She rolled her eyes. "Sit down." After everyone got at least halfway sat in their correct seats. "Alright, students. Before we begin, I'd like to interduse Ms. Davids. The new scholarship student." Lydia nodded silently to the class.

Vienna nodded. Davids. Well, now she knew her last name. She'd use that to bug her. "Oh! It's you, the girl who got lost on the way to class!" she called, causing the whole class to laugh.

Lydia ignored her, though she couldn't help a small blush she hoped no one was noticing. "Why don't you take a seat in the corner, Ms. Davids?" The teacher said calmly. She took her seat. The desk was next to the teachers, so maybe the others won't treat her as badly as she imagined.

Lydia went to work immedantly. She relaxed abit. They are only rich kids who can't do anything else but spend their parents money, that's all. Don't get attached, she reminded herself. If she did, she would end up just like them, in jail and with a drug addiction. She grinned slightly at that.

Lydia looked around the room. Next class... Few people are actually there. Many looked as if they would just get a tutor at home to do their homework. Sounds right. She shook her head. Why did her parents make her come here? Her old school was doing just fine educating her...

Lydia spotted a guy. His face was strained, as if listening was as much work as he should do in this class. She looked for a moment, but then shoved him off. The only thing that Lydia knows should matter to her is that he mostlikely is still going to fail. Nothing more...right?

Lydia was the last out of class. She bid her new teacher farewell and then left the class. The classes went on, and everything was basicually the same. Until lunch, where one girl stood up on the table and announced, "I'm going to Paris!!!!" She looked at her oddly, but good thing she was in the corner, for the girl couldn't see her.

"Yay!" She jumped down and hugged her. Lydia looked around. Everyone else was more over was happy for her. But the guy that she saw during first period and was sitting at the same table. He didn't looked so pleased. In fact, he looked like he was about to scream.
