Miyu was looking at a stuffed artist's interpretation of a Saber-Toothed Tiger when the earthquake hit. The building rocked violently. When it stopped, the tiger was looking at her, it was alive! She took a step back, it took a step forward. It suddenly rushed at her. Miyu closed her eyes in fear. She felt something swell in her chest. It was a warm, pleasant feeling. When she opened her eyes, the tiger was gone.

The rat monster threw an aura ball at us and when it hit us, me and the guy were separated. I screamed then stopped when the guy, Ryou, threw a pendent at me. I grabbed it then was suddenly glowing white. What was happening to me??

Arla: I ran out of the museum and out on the street. The ground still trembled from the earth quake. I pressed a hand to my chest. That...cougar was inside of me. What was going on? I had just wanted to spend a nice day at the museum. Instead an earthquake struck and a cougar jumped inside of me.
I rounded the corner of the street. Okay, now that was just wrong. A gigantic rat loomed over the buildings. There was a girl at its feet who was glowing.
My day couldn't possible get any weirder. I hoped not anyway.

I closed my eyes, feeling the Arctic Fox inside me. Words rolled off of my tounge, "Power pendent, metamorphosis!" I yelled then the glow covered me.

Arla: "What is going on?" I asked. Something growled inside of me. "Shut up, I'm thinking." I looked up and saw the rat's beady eyes on me. I sprinted down an alley and dove behind a dumpster. The growling persisted. My breathing steadied and I closed my eyes. The growling turned into a purr. "Power pendent, metamorphosis," I whispered. Why did I say that? I opened my eyes. My skin glowed. I stared at my arms. The day just got weirder.

Miyu caught whatever it was the girl threw at her. She discovered it was a white, glowing pendant. The girl yelled something. Miyu didn't know why, but she said the same thing as the girl. The pendant glowed even brighter. Miyu's hands started to tingle. The thing her chest swelled again. It felt like it was traveling throughout her body. She looked down and saw her clothes had changed dramatically. She also saw a tail. That was weird. What had happened to her?

I looked down at myself and gasped. I looked up hearing Ryou's voice yelling and saw the Chimera Anima attacking me. I dodged out of it's way and jumped into a tree gracefully. I held out my hands and a cross whip appeared. I gripped it tightly, ready to fight back.

Arla: I stood up. Wind rushed around me and the light spiraled across my body. The growling still rumbled inside of me. I felt my head. Soft, furry ears pushed out of my hair. Something snapped against my legs.I looked around. A tail. "What is going on?" I muttered, as I marched out of the alley and looked for the first girl to have said those words. She was in a tree. The rat thing was attacking her. I grabbed a glass bottle off the ground and hurled it at the rat. "Hey, Ugly Face. Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" It looked down at me. "Oh, look at that. I'm not your size. Looks like you'll have to go find someone who is." It snarled and whipped at claw at me. I jumped backwards. I arched through the air and landed in a crouch.

I growled loudly, "HEY." I got its attention and hurled a snowball (shes able to make them appear suddenly) at it's eye. I then held out my Arctic cross whip towards it and leaped towards it, despite Ryou's protests.

Miyu heard a commotion outside. She ran into the alley and saw two girls fighting a giant rat. A gutteral snarl escaped her mouth. Where had that come from? The rat's tail batted at Miyu, she did a backflip out of the way. Since when was she flexible? This day was just too weird.
