Synthia shrugged her right should almost touching her right ear, " um you know who told me, the guy with the weird name for who he is an I don't really want to be sad today so I'm not going to say his name," she told him smiling.

"Did this man," he held up his hand and put airquotes around man, "Happen to tell you my age." This interested Landy even more. Considering that was yet another detail kept hidden from him.

Synthia nodded, " yeah you're thirty five if I remember correctly, which I usually do. " she said to him smiling a little less remembering the look on mr. Tiny's face, it was gruesome somehow but not in a way that was a " funny face" more of a face to fear.

Landy shook his head. He was old, but his body was that of an eightteen year old. And the purge still scared him. "Thanks." he said jot frowning but not smiling either.

Synth looked at him he didn't seem to happy with the answer did he not want her to know? Or was he upset about the number? She thought to herself standing in the silence trying to to think of what happened earlyer.

Synthia smiled and nodded, " sure but your not that old I'm only a few years younger, about six not that much," she said laughing and brushing her bangs back from her face her arms hanging by her sides not knowing what to do. She wanted to hold his hand but she wasn't sure how to do that or ask for him to. She had obviously never been on a date or gone out with someone.

Landy looked at the unconscious Rigby and grabbed her hand, he pulled her into his and Rigby's room and out the door then out of the hotel. "Where should we go eat?" he askedhis stomach growling. He might have been thirty-five but his stomach was eighteen therefore having the appetite of an eighteen year old.

Synthia shrugged, " I'm not sure, I don't think I've ever been to california, I don't know what there is you wanna just walk around until we find something?" she asked him looking up at him and smiling. She really has no idea what was here or what to eat, " it's your choice."

Synthia playfully rolled her eyes, " all right if you insist," she said to him laughing. She was in a better mood since haily wasn't mad at her or landy and that she was all right with everything. Synthia smiled to herself and waited for landy to head out, seeing as he was still holding her hand.

Landy lead her onto the sidewalk and headed left, "So why did you wish me a happy birthday. Normally it just gets overlooked."
In fact it was the first time someone actually said happy birthday to him since he joined the cirque.

Synthia looked up at him, " I never knew your birthday was this day until yesterday. Well when he told me." she said to him turning her head to the ground. It was weird she hadn't known his birthday was today but she had known him for a wile.

"I never really told anyone. I wasn't the most friendly person when I first joined. I didn't even tell Rigby," Landy looked down, "I don't tell alot of people alot of things. I'm not sure though if it's because of my lack of memory or I just am not an open person."

Synthia nodded, " yeah I can relate to some of that," she said to him a small shy smile on her face, " but hey it's your birthday you're supposed to be happy let's not mope about stuff!" synth was trying to lighten up the conversation.

Landy thought about what made him happy, well talking with Synthia did. It was different than talking to Haily. Haily was a good friend but Synthia, was something more.
The road the turned on had alot of shops, and news people and he wondered why. Well they were in california, it was probably some star.

Synthia smiled to herself, it was much different to be in this huge city then to be with the cirque. Everyone knew everyone in the cirque here no one could know everyone. She looked up to see the large news team. " do you wanna check it out? There's some food places behind the huge group." she asked him pointing to the news crowd.

He nodded, and the headed over. He was tall but trying to peer over the crowd that had now gathered was impossible. He had no clue what was going on.

Synthia couldn't see much, she had just found a small space to peer in from, it looked like a group of people but she couldn't make put any faces. She sighed and went on her tip toes to try and see more but failed. She looked up and saw landy couldn't see much either. Synthia became more curious about who these people where.

Landy walked around trying to get a better vantage point, but was unsuccessful. "Maybe we should find somewhere else to go?" he suggested.

Synthia nodded and laughed, this was so different to her. " sure," she said over the commotion of the camera people and anchors talking over one another into small microphones. She wanted to know who these people where but didn't mind nit knowing also.

Synthia shrugged, " not really, we can go find your birthday lunch," she said to him rolling her eyes to the crowd. She didn't care about this anymore she didn't understand what the news people where all worked up about, it was a person nothing more.

Landy's stomach growled but not for normal food. "maybe we should wait till night for dinner." he put quotations around dinner in hopes that she got it. But what worried him was he never had a craving for blood like this before.

Synthia nodded she understood perfectly what he was talking about. Their last time having blood was two nights ago it was long overdue but she wasn't paying attintion to that type of hunger until now, mr. Tiny's visit seemed to make her want blood more than regular food much more than usual. She shook the thought from her mind and look back to the crowd smirking slightly.

"Come on," he said. He was slightly worried though. The craving was really strong. Mr. Crepsley said that was a sign of the purge. He had been a half vampire quite a while. It worried him. He didn't know what to expect but it couldn't be good.
