Landy leaned up against the wall. Full on panic mode. He told Synthia something no one besides him Larten, and Mr. Tiny knew. It was the reason he was so indifferent about the cirque. It explained alot but not enough, not what he wanted.

Mr. Tiny looked at her, "Would you by any chance no where Larten is?"

Synthia shook her head. " no he left and told us to stay here. " she said to him as she pulled her legs up and rest her head on them trying to hide the tears as the spilled down her face. This guy gave her the creeps, made her want to rip something up, wished she could run away and hide forever, and lots of other things. It bothered her that this one man could turn her whole understanding of some things around.

"Ah well, I guess you should know Landy will be back. And I'll find Larten." He gave her a wink. And as he did Landy wiped the hot angry tears from his face, stuffed his hands in his pockets and headed back to the motel.

Synthia sat there for a wile lifting her head a tiny bit everytime the doors jingled as someone came in every time hoping it was landy. He tears had stopped but she felt as if one thing went wrong they would come again, she was angry and sad and slightly traumatised, and she certainly didn't want to comprehend what had just happened.

Landy slowly walked in, and slumped into one of the chairs. He hated Texas, he hated his life. He wished he never went to the cirque however long ago it was. He wished that their wasn't a block of black in his memory. He had a bad feeling about that block, it was something he didn't want to remember, but he would anyways.

Synthia saw landy come in buy didn't move, other than lifting her head and looking at him for a wile. She could barely remember her life and wanted to, but she had a feeling that could either be from mr. Tiny's lingering memories or it was about the blackness that cut out so much time from her mind. She put her head on her knees once more the tears threatening again but she forced them back not wanting to have a sobbing fit out here in front of all the people. She closed her eyes and thought back to her first memory, the funeral.

Landy slumped on the couch. He would be having a talk with Mr. Crepsley as soon as he returned. And he would demand why he agreed to change him.

Mr. Crepsley walked in through the motel doors prepared for either a murder attempt or worse. Mr. Tiny had found him and told him that he knew where the half vampires where. He knew that if Mr. Tiny had visited them then they would hate him and want to know more and would probably want to kill him afterwards. He may have been forced to do many things he didn't want to by Mr. Tiny but the children wouldn't understand. They where still young.

Landy saw him come in, and marched up. He was a bit taller than him and used it to his advantage. "You tell my why you turned me. And you tell me now," his voice was cold and stoic, with just a hing of anger.

Mr. Creplsey look up from having his head bent slightly down. " because it was my only choice and if you want more information then ask mr. Tiny he could provide the sane information I just told you but he would say that it was your destiny and there would be no other way. But he would also say for you to wait and remember it, you where there," he told him as rain started to pour outside, the overcast day had decided to become a storm at just the right time for the mood that had been expressed in just a short minute or so, " I also know that mr. Tiny coming back would cause your friend to become a mess, poor dear must be either terrified or sincerely pissed off, and would cause you to do the same but probably both emotions. Don't worry he has that effect on everyone short of a vampire prince. Maybe even some should fear him."

"You don't turn people unless there's no choice. So why did you do it? Why did you really do it?" His eyes narrowed. He would help Synthia later, but he wanted this answer, and he wanted it now.

Mr. Creplsey nodded, " I had no choice, that's it. He gave me one option and that's what it was." he told him sadly. Die or turn the poor boy who would probably love his new life as a half vampire with half his memories, mr. Tiny had made sure he knew everything before he gave him his one option.

Landy looked at him, tears now streaming down his face, hot angry tears, "One option for you, or one option for me." He resisted the urge to call him a fowl name.

Mr. Crepsley sighed, " both I think, mr. Tiny didn't really fill me in on that just what you had been through and sorry but I cannot tell you what it is, you have to find out for yourself or all you memory goes blank, like synthia's did I don't know if synthia is her real name, only mr. Tiny does and he didn't tell me about her. He gave me one option there also." he told landy stuffing his hands into the pockets of his black leather trench coat.

Landy clenched his fists. He wanted to know. He wanted to know now. But he couldn't risk everything think, even the small things he knew going.

(What if Landy and/or Synthia were turned before Darren and were in "hiding" till his death and what not?"

Mr. Crepsley nodded. " all right well if you dont have any more questions then I will be going upstairs to pack, we're going to California." He said glancing at synthia before leaving with a swish from his trench coat.

Landy watched him leave feeling as if going to Texas was just a set up for him to get sent to the hospital.
He went to Synthia, and sat down. He now had to be the one to cheer her up, "If you want to punch me you can. It might help you feel better."

Synthia looked up and let her legs slid back to the ground. " no cause that's mean," she said to his her face slightly red tear tracks visible on her face making her feel very self contiance as she looked at landy. " at least he's gone for now."

Synthia looked at him, " well right now I just want to remember more that just fuzzy outlines." she told him changing her view to the table. A flash of memory came to her, the little boy from her adoptive family pulling her hair and pushing her off a swing set. At the orphanage with a small blond girl curled in her lap crying. The memories where all sad, and painful. She came back to reality with a sad look in her eyes and a small sharp intake of breath. She didn't want to know the sad things, not now at least.

Synthia looked up at him again and smiled, " thank you, and I hate seeing you sad also. " she said wanting to tell him how it slightly broke her heart seeing him sad, she hated it.

Synthia looked into his eyes practically melting in her seat. " all right I'd you insist," she said smiling at him and studying his face her eyes lingering on his lips before returning to his eyes. Her face wasn't red anymore and the tear tracks where practically gone.
