Mr. Crepsley was sitting very uncomfortably in the front seat. " because that's where we need to go." he told them stiffly. The cab driver raised and eyebrow but as soon as crepsley put down another bill he looked back at the road a smile on his face.

Landy sat back, his fist curling up as it rested on his leg. With Rigby in a foul mood and them going to Texas this would be a hell of trip. It was times like these Landy really hated himself.

Syrups stretched as she as apes the full cab. Mr. Crepsley was arguing with the cab driver before he handed him yet another bill and the driver drove off fast. They where in Fort Worth. Mr. Creplsey sighed and went to find a hotel or something before the sun came up. " all right time to go." he said and began to walk towards the place he thought would most likely have a hotel for them.

Landy looked around, he knew Fort Worth. He stiffened. He didn't want to be here.
"You okay?" Rigby asked.
"Yeah fine." Landy replied, and it was so definite it meant end of conversation.
Rigby took that as he wasn't fine, and he wanted to leave, but didn't press his friend.

They arrived at a motel and soon had two rooms that where connected. Synthia didn't dare ask what was wrong with landy because he was silent and trailing behind with a hardened expression on his face. She just pushed it from her mind and entered her room as mr. Crepsley dashed inside his room drawing the curtains and collapsing on the sofa and falling asleep immediately.

Landy waved his hand in front of Crepsley's face. Then he let it out, "Why the hell Texas?" He never really told anyone where he was from, they just assumed it was the south.
"What's wrong with it?" Rigby asked.
Landy glared at him, "Everything, it's hot, it's big, it's dry, it's muggy, it's weather is bipolar. The whole state can go to hell for all I care."
Rigby looked at him, "You used to live here didn't you?"
"What tipped you off?" Landy almost yelled louder than he wished.

Haily opened an eye as she heard the guys fighting. " well apparently landy hates it here." she said to synthia who was staring into space a distant expression on her face, she couldn't remember a lot of stuff from her past but Texas was somewhere she thought she had never been but now seemed oddly familiar. Haily waved a hand in front of her friends face but synthia still stared into space ignoring her friend.

"None of your business." he stormed out of the room, and went to the lobby by himself.

Synthia heard landy storm out and was debating weather to go after him. She looked at the door, it was probably bad for someone to be alone here especially if crepsley wanted us here he may not have said it but one the last mission he had told us that. Se got off the couch in her and hailys room and left, " I'll just go check on him." she told haily and disappeared to go find landy.

Landy was sitting on a couch in the lobby, his head was in his hands. From in angle it would be hard to tell if he was just upset, or if he was crying. And if he was crying it would be a rare site, Landy never cried, well not to anyone's knowledge, except maybe Mr. Crepsley.

Rigby sat on the second bed in the room, and looked at Crepsley, it gave him the jitters, but he did nothing about it. He really wanted to watch TV though.

Synthia arrived at the lobby looking around for Landy. She saw him sitting in one of the couches his head hanging in his hands. Looking at Landy again she made her way over to him going to sit down next to him, " So you wanna talk about it or do you want me to leave?" I asked him quietly keeping my eyes up, looking around at all the people walking around the Lobby heading either out side or to their rooms.

Haily knocked on the door to the guys room still feeling slightly bad about taking Rigby's act. It made some of her insides curtal relising she had never really seen his act before, she had seen him practice but never the full act. She would usually leave after her act.

"I just wish he would have at least warned me." Landy said looking at her, not bothering to wipe the tears off his cheeks.

Rigby was flipping through the channels, when he heard the knock, "It's open." He figured it would be someone from their party.

Synthia looked at him astonished by the tears on his face but not letting it show on her face. " If he did we would be worried about him but yes, sometimes it would be nice if he warned us." She said trying to comfort him, she was never good at that.

Haily walked in rubbing her hands together nervously. " You do know I am really sorry about stealing your act, it won't ever happen again." She said her head turned to the floor still ashamed of herself.

Landy looked at her, "You don't understand, I haven't been back to Texas, back here, since I was turned. Crepsley always conveniently leaves when the cirque is scheduled to come to Texas. I just wish he would have told me, I would have been better prepared." He stopped, then whispered, "god."

Rigby kept on watching television. He was trying to think of response. After a bit he flicked off the TV and turned to her, "It's just what you said you were going to do and what you did were quite a bit different." He didn't add how embarrassed he was afterwords having to go on and do his act.

Synthia looked down, " oh," was all she said not knowing anything else to say. She couldn't remember who or where she was turned but Texas did seem familiar. She didn't know how he felt and she knew she didn't really want to, by how landy was acting.

Haily nodded. " I know I just thought of it and after I remembered that in your practices you did juggling, I'm so sorry you must be really pissed at me." She said to him her head still hanging.

"I was." Rigby said, "but," he paused, then lied, "I'm not any more." He lied because he wanted to be friends with, but he also lied because he still wasn't over it.

Landy just looked down again, "Sorry for bugging you with this," he said. Knowing she probably didn't care.

Synthia shrugged, " its fine its not good to keep feelings in, Crepsley always finds out." She told him smiling kindly and patting him on the back.

Haily smiled looking up slightly, " Well thats good and I'm still really sorry, fire won't ever be in my act again." She told him nodding with sincerity.

"He should have already known." he said, not adding that that was the reason why it was bugging him more than anything.

"It's fine." Rigby said, turning the television back on. He would get mad if she kept on apologizing however.

Synthia nodded, " oh," I said again nodding not really knowing what to say. I was slightly worried about how sad and misrable looking he was. " You wanna go walk around down town or you wanna just stay here?" I asked him shrugging.

Haily nodded, " all right, you want to go walk around the town or do you want to just watch t.v? "She asked him her head tilted sideways.

"I'm going to stay here," he said, he paused, like he wanted to say something else. But he didn't, he did however look at her.

"I'll walk around town. Never really been to Fort Worth, before." Rigby said, turning the television off. He changed his shirt really quickly, to attract less attention to himself. But he was in Texas it probably didn't matter.

Synthia looked at him. " You want company? " She asked him thinking that since Mr.Crepsley was asleep there where two options. One sleep or two watch T.v for hours.

Haily smiled, " great, so lets go." she said turning her head away as he changed out of common courtesy. She opened the door when she was sure he had a shirt on and waited for him outside the door.

Rigby walked out, and headed down the hallway.

"If you want to go, go." Landy said, "My moping shouldn't keep you here." He gave a slight smile.

Synthia shrugged. " well if your sad then you probably need a friend." she told him smiling.

Haily walked down the hall and out to the lobby. She walked out the doors and into the streets of the city which where already getting busy.
