Nell: I gasped as my head cracked against the wall. My knees gave out and landed with a thump one the floor. I grasped my rod and glared up Gray. "You can deal with it?" I felt slightly dizzy. My head pounded and I couldn't see straight. "Gray, look at yourself!" Blood dripped from the self-inflicted wounds on his throat and his eyes were a wild red.

I took a step forward. Then another.

Nell: I lunged to the side and slammed my shoulder into the floor. Adreline pumped through my veins as I turned. I held my open rod before me. Gray's eyes weren't his eyes. I had felt this bone numbing fear before. Once. A long time ago.
I cracked my jaw and stared up at him. "Gray, it's me, Nell. Remember me? I'm your friend."

Grays head whipped around, his throat holding a terrible hiss.
Xero gasped and stood frozen for a long second but in the next one she was leaping up into the air, she pulled out her necklace and touched down on Gray. They both fell to the floor, Gray thrashing about until Xero pinned the necklace to the mark on his neck and Gray became unconscious.

Nell: I dropped my rod, grabbed Xero around the waist, and tossed her away from Gray. I knelt over him. Blood still trickled from the claw marks at his throat, which meant his heart was still working. "What did you do to him?" I asked. My voice had returned to its usual calm as I looked up at Xero.

Xero : i wasn't very happy that she tossed me aside like that. But i answered. "The necklace is a type of taming charm. He's fine. Father told us to use it if he got too out of hand." I went over and held his hand, pulling it to my check. "Gray...wake up.." I said, and felt a wave of relief when he opened his eyes.

I nodded, looking away from her.

Nell: I walked to the windown next to the bed and looked out. The sun was starting to go down (is that alright?), bathing the courtyard in a soft pink glow. "Is there anyway to prevent that from happening?" I asked softly. I didn't want him to pull a stunt like that in the cafeteria surrounded by the Day Class. Xero might not be around and I might have to do something I would regret.
