"Mhm." Anya nodded softly and drifted off slowly. They had to look like a couple or something, her head on his shoulder, holding hands. When, in reality, she was only like this because this is how she felt safe. Ok, maybe part of it was that she wanted to be closish to him, but thats besides the point.

"you two make a lovely couple.." murmured an elderly woman.

Brandon smiled at her only to hold back a wince, he couldn't handle that kind of talk until they were safe, until she was safe. He flexed his free hand and set about healing some scars, bite marks and scratches, from his skin, old wounds that not even Anya had seen. It was an easy but time consuming process, healing old wounds, but it was possible.
He glanced at Anya's scabbed over wrist, she couldn't take back those scars, not as a human anyway.
He pondered the delicate fragile shells that humans must live in, how did he ever survive it? It was so long ago it was hard for him to remember.

Anya shifted uneasily as she slept and clung to his hand. She heard the lady speak of them and murmured something incoherent and closed her hand tighter around his.
She woke up slowly while the flight attendants coming around for drinks. I blinked at her when she started asking what she wanted, not thinking clearly.
What she asking? She asked Brendan, to tired and dazed to answer.

Branden blinked at her and sighed, "She'll have a water, nothing for me Thankyou."
He smiled a the lady and placed the water on his tray.q

He looked at the very dazed and confused Anya and motioned drinking. "the water is yours." he said clearly.q

Anya nodded and rubbed her eyes. She hesitantly let go of his hand and took the drink. "Thanks." she took a couple small sips and put the plastic cup down on her tray. "This is my first time in a plane." she told him as she put her hands in her lap.

Branden raised an eyebrow.. "No way! Don't worry, I have been on many different planes all of them a lot less safe than this one, you'll be fine." he said wincing at some slight turbulence.

Anya jumped slightly when the plane trembled. She quickly took his hand again, nervous about the state of the tin bucket they were flying in. "Just out of curiosity, would I walk away from this if the plane crashed?" she asked slowly.

Brandon pursed his lips while in thought. "It depends where you crash, and if I am with you during the crash. If I am then you're not gonna die if we crash on land or water, cause I'm awesome." He tried to lighten the mood unsuccessfully. He sighed and ran a hand, his free hand, through his hair wondering how this became such a mess.

Anya nodded slowly and let out a sigh of relief. "it would suck if I died in a plane crash." she forced a laugh and kept her hand closed around his. "I mean, after everything that happened so far, a plane crash seems too...simple." she sighed softly.

Brandan grinned. "It depends on how the plane crashes, if it was caught by a giant ape then eaten by a giant fire breathing iguana then it wouldn't be too simple."

Anya laughed and let a smile spread across her face. "yea, that would be pretty elablorate. To bad they dont exist...they don't exist right?" vampires an werewolves did. What was stopping giant apes and fire breathing iguanas. "an wouldn't the iguana be a dragon if it breathed fire?"

Brandon laughed and smiled at her genuinly for the first time.
"All the dragons I've met are more like mushu rather than a giant iguana." he said with a lilting smile.

Even with all the drama and problems going on right now, Anya felt relaxed and great. She felt calm with him right now. She looked over and just smiled when she saw his. "I love your smile..." she said absently before she could stop herself.

Brandan froze up, his muscles tensed and his brain shut down. She used the l word. The word he hadn't heard pointed at him in two hundred and sixty years. His face was frozen in a half smile and his eyebrows furrowed, he looked insane.

Anya frowned and looked at him. Brendan...don't freeze up on me now. She thought to him, panicing slightly. She took his hand and looked at him slightly worried. Had she said something wrong again? Say something...anything she nearly begged.

"..two more hours." he murmured slowly unfreezing.
He blinked a few times and relaxed his arm, the rest of his body still taut with adrenaline. The mix of her words and all the hearts pumping blood throughout the plane.

Anya blinked and nodded. "Alright...two hours....do you need something to drink?" she stuttered the words very softly. Why was he so tense? She wasn't used to this from him. She slowly took her hand away and folded them in her lap again.

"me?" Anya asked confused. "What did I do?" she asked nervously. She wrung her hands together, scared. Her legged trembled slightly as she tapped her toe against the ground. What was the matter?

Anya nodded and kept looking down at her hand. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" she asked softly. She remembered some passages from the diary. That had to be hard, losing all emotion like he had. "I'm...I'm going to go to the bathroom." she unbuckled herself and stood up and waited for him to move to let her out.

Brandan stood and presented the way to her as he would when he was a gentleman. He sat back down and sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Thou art a babbling bafoon.." he mumbled to himself.

Anya went to the bath room quickly and looked at herself in the mirror. She didnt have to go, but she needed a few seconds by herself. Her eyes looked tired even though she was wide awake. Her hair was a mess and she did not look like someone who was just married. Probably because she wasnt yet married. She washed her hands after a couple minutes in the bathroom and left right when the plane trembled again. Only this time, it didnt level out easily. She lost balance and was practically throw against the cabin door.
The PA system came on and told passangers to not worry, but an early landing was called for. Basically, a nice way of saying they were crashing.

Brandon was up on his feet as soon as the PA sounded, she was his priority. He was by her side and lifting her up into his arms in a single moment. The only way out of the situation was magic.
"Damn."
He pulled out a little velvet bag and stuck his hand out then, even though it looked only to be a coin purse in size, pushed his whole arm and ended up pulling out another little bag and a parachute.

Anya watched him and tried steady her breathing. "Why do I feel like this isn't a normal plane crash?" She mumbled to herself and clung to him. "And what are you, freaking hermione granger?!" she asked when she saw the bag.
