Hermes sighed. But he wouldn't agree with her not this time. He went down to the ocean and relayed the message to Poseidon.
He just became more frustrated.

Hermes began to loathe his job as he went back to Olympus to relay this all to Zeus. But as he was about to run off the beach and into the sky. A pretty mortal caught his eye. He winked and ran off. He didn't want to but something was making him. As he flew off he was not going to Olympus he was going somewhere he had only been a few times before. It was there he was promised things and told of his importance in everything. He was then allowed to leave as he headed up to Olympus to tell Zeus about the feuds and curses of Aphrodite and Poseidon.

Poseidon went to Texas. A landlocked city in Texas. There he spotted the one demigod who still hadn't figured out he was a demigod. The boy was a mirror image of Poseidon and sixteen. He was one of Poseidon's three sons. And he was quite often overlooked of course living inthe land locked town of Texas didn't help. His name was Griffen. And he was the epitome of surfer cowboys. Posiedon new this because he would watch as griffen and his mom traveled to California by car so they could relax in his house on the beach that he built for them. Watching his son, Poseidon relaxed.

"Yes, well, I haven't been totally honest. My name's not Elizabeth; it's Athena. goddes of wisdom."He gaped and she sighed. "Damn it all, That's why I don't tell the gods of anyone I love."

Griffen's school day was ending and his mom drove and his mom saw Poseidon, whom was known as Paul.
"Paul." She gasped surprised, she knew his secret and knew about what Griffen was capable of, as well.
"Hi Ginny." He smiled, "Do you mind if I talk with Griffen?"
She shook her head, "Do the others know?"
"They don't even know he is my son."
She nodded, Griffen cam out and walked to the car a strange look on his face. His shirt was for the schools swim team which as a sophomore he was captain of.
"He is so much like you."
Poseidon smiled. Griffen came up to car. He was not happy to say the least. "Let's go mom," he said as he got in. He saw Poseidon, and obviously made some connection, "Whose this?"
"This is Paul." She told him, "And..."
Griffen cut her off as he walked around to Poseidon, "Why!" he yelled. He knew who Paul was.
Poseidon took him and walked into a little park across the street from the school it was quieter and more private.
"I'm not a good father. I'm sorry, but you need to know something," Poseidon began as he looked into the cold crisp blue eyes of his son.

Hermes gave the messages to Zeus who in turn had message for Aphrodite and Poseidon. It was simple eiher end the argument now or he would end it.
Hermes went to Poseidon first. It was there he found out about Poseidon and his son he watched a scene unfold.
"dad, Paul... No. You have never been there." he said.
"I have my reasons." Poseidon said. "I'm busier than you could ever imagine."
"Thats what Duke said to and he left mom as well."
"Griffen my case is much different from his. I still love your mom. But I have this calling you have to. Tell me how fast are in the water? How is swim team?"
Hermes watched in aw so Poseidon had a secret son. This was a message that Hernes couldn't relay. But his head hurt as he thought about what he was promised.
"Don't change the subject!" Griffen yelled.
"I bet your wicked fast. So fast you've been told to slow down by your coah. Will right he said it was inhuman speeds I do believe."
Griffen became extremely confused, "Wait what? How do you know Coach."
"Ever wonder why he's in a wheel chair? Ask him tomorrow."
Griffen got fidgety, "What, why?"
Poseidon laughed, "My boy, he's a mermaid sent to protect you?"
"Your nuts!" Griffen yelled.
Hermes then came onto the scene, "I have to agree with him Paul."
"Whose this?" Griffen asked the jogger.
"Name's Henry, Your father and I work together."
"Henry what are you doing here?"
"Relax I won't tell but the big man says either you end the feud or he will." with that Henry left with in a blink of an eye.
"Where did he go?" Griffen asked blinking trying to find him.
"his real name is Hermes he is the messenger." Posedion paused, "And my name is Poseidon I am god of the sea."
"What! Your mad!" Griffen yelled, And before he knew he was enclosed in water with Poseidon in front of him.
Then the water stopped, "The. You are to son."
Griffen was going insane or so he thought. He thought he should be on medication. "Take this." poseidon handed him an eraser in the shape of a three proved fork. "It will be your greatest weapon when you need to use it toss it in the air. I have to go settle some business with Aphrodite now." he smiled. And turned to leave.
As he did Griffentissed the eraser and was now holding a full sized trident.
"What if I loose it?" he asked.
"You won't." Were the final words to his son.

Hermes was now searching for Aphrodite.

Hermes then appeared ignoring Athena he already knew about her and Ethan. It was another secret he kept. It would be like the one of Poseidon's son. "Aphrodite I got a message for you. Hello Ethen, Athena." he smiled his mischievous quirks and devilish smile showed through his charming demeanor.

"No Zeus. He said you two didn't have to agree on anything but take back the curses and be civil or he would help you along." Hermes told her. "And we all know it's unwise to disobey Zeus."

"It depends, but Poseidon would love it." Hermes smirked. "You could always make it temporary." Hermes suggested. "Or I could help you along. It could be a prank." He winked. "No offense Aphrodite. But you know I always love a good laugh." He smiled, "Remeber Ares' cows." he knew they two of them had a thing so it was safe ground. "Ill tell Zeus that and Poseidon has already agreed I was just talking with him." he said.

Athena nodded. "That's the point Aphrodite. I kept the whole 'Goddess of Wisdom things under wraps for a reasdon and you- you just trapse in and pill it! Ugh!!"

Athena smiled. "and for that I'm grate ful. Also,I intended on tell him. But not by being greeted as 'cousing' by aphrodite after a particularly enjoyable kiss."

She smiled back, both ares had been a laughing stock and Hera's temper went through the roof all because her poor cows, and what better way she took it out on Zeus.
"Well i didn't do anything, i just said hello.And of course he agreed who would want trolls for children."

Hermes smirked. That was the kind of thing he liked to do spoil beautiful moments. "Truly sorry Athena. But it wouldn't hurt for a day or two you know." he smiled. He looked at Aphrodite, "It's just so tempting, and you know menand temptation." he rose one of his eyebrows. "Well he already has the cyclops." he looked at her. "You wouldn't have like his curse to much you could never drink water nor could your kids or would you be able to return to the sea once a year. Glad Zeus interferred."

"Damn my father; lifting the curse." Athena muttered. "I think that cattepillar is now an even better idea." Ethan raised his hands. "Woah, I think it's totally awesome, forthe record." He said, trying to stop his girlfriend from turning to goddes of love into frog food.

"Part of the job my good man. Oh and I think you should know Poseidon is not blue and not part fish. Just to tell your mythology buddies." he tipped his cap towards him and showed off the wings that were painted on either side with an H on the front it was a green and white hat.

Athena sighed, whispering to Aphrodite, without Ethan hearing, that she's loved before but she's never allowed Aphrodite to find out. "Why do you think I have a demigod daughter?" she asked in a'duh' tone.

"I always suspected..." Ethan nodded. He didn't look like a nerd but he was dorky to the core. Athena grinned and put her arm around him. "See, he's totally smart."

Athena still smiled. not something she did often on Olympus. "But I don't think he's ready to meet father yet. I'll make sure to work that out if he ever comes down from Olympus." She silently hoped she would never have to explain this to her father. He was alright with the whole, dating a mortal, part. Although, Hera wasn't too happy about it- Athena couldn't give damn. She hated the jealous little brat- it was the fact that they'd been together for months and she'd kept it under wraps that was sure to be the undoing. "I don't think i want Ethan to be electicuted just yet."
