Hermes walked through Olympus stopping to drop off messages. Every once in a while he would look at the phone but he already knew his message. He was in no mood tone funny today, Posiedon had scared him senseless. If one thing was know was that it was not to get Poseidon mad, he was probably the moddiest of the gods.

Poseidon continued to pace the thrown room till he decided to go back to his office. He had some ancient sea gods he needed to talk to. He thought they were peaceful after all they had peacefully given him the ocean. But he couldn't help but wonder if it was something bigger than that.

Athena returned, sensing the grim air, she frowned. "What has occurred?"

Hermes looked at her, "Our wondeful uncle has taken it on himself to blas the messenger with water because there was another earthquake." Hermes sighed, "It would be better if the guy wasn't so moody. I swear what he did in there caused a storm over Kansas or something." he adjusted his hat revealing his sandy, spiky hair. Hermes never got hat hair and that's because well he didn't want it so he never had to have it.

"He swears it wasn't him. I'm just the messenger and he decides it's a good idea to soak the whole thrown room." he sighed.
Posiedon then walked into the room, "It wasn't me. I know when I create earthquakes, I don't need messages telling me one has happened."
Hermes sat, something he rarely did unless they were in council together. "Well then who did it Mr. Earthshaker?"
"Don't get wise with me!" Poseidon bellowed.
Hermes smirked his devilish features becoming more prominent, "It's my job."

Athen a paled. "Posidon's the only one who can cause earthquakes unless-" She broke off, rushing to her study.

"I didn't do it!" Poseidon yelled and I am not taking it out on Hermes!"
Hermes stood up, "I beg to differ you buck of old sea weed." the two gods were now face to face.
"Watch it nephew you can easily be replaced."
Hermes scoffed, "Glad I'm not alone."
Hermes had quick fire in his eyes, and Posiedon had the fire of the see in his. A storm began to brew, "Just to make it clear this storm, I am causing."
Hermes said, "I'll choose my successor and it won't be you. I give the messages here. Zeus gave me the position himself if you wanna take it up with your brother be my guest!"
Poseidon blew his top, Water spewed at Hermes knocking him against the wall. Both gods were in there traditional robes now. Hermes took his staff and hurled at Poseidon, the snakes separated. But Posedion was ready, he created a small storm that blew the snakes back to Hermes. Then Hermes charged he was the fastest force on Olympus and he hit Poseidon causing the whole place to rumble. Poseidon flew into the fountain that cushioned his fall. He rose out and prepared to strike at Hermes again.

Athen sighed rubbing her temples. "Uncle! Can't you got one day without trying to drown someone!" She said coming out of er study, angrily. "If my father hears of this, he will not be pleased. And he doesn't care about the details." She threatened heatedly.

Poseidon sighed and calmed down, "I'll duke it out with my brother on my own time." Poseidon said as he transformed back into his regular clothes.
Hermes was back in his jogging suit. Only Athena his cousin could calm Poseidon. He gave Athena a grateful look and re adjusted his cap again.
All the storms that Poseidon had caused calmed.
"Athena I have a message for you and Ares but seeing as he is not here I'll give it to him later. Another war has started, the sender of this message once again blocked me from seeing who sent it but I have a feeling they started it as well."

Athen visibly paled. "Ah, thank you Hermes." She said, gurlping. There wasn't much that worried Athena but this was one of those times when she was scared. No, she wasn't scared. She was terrified. She'd been feeling the electric crackle of power greater than even the gods for days now.

Poseidon was a bit upset at this, "So why does no one blame Ares for starting wars, he's done it before. But an earthquake happens and everyone must blame Poseidon." he knew there was injustice here and he was going to bring it to light.
Hermes looked at him, "Uncle, I never blamed you. That's why I told you. None of us should be decieving messeges about things we control because we should know what we cause. But there is something bigger there has to be." For a person who tended to be sarcastic Hermes was smart. After all when he was a baby he did steal half of Ares' heard of sacred cows.

Athen thumped her head on the table wishing she was capable of being wrong about facts. "auuugh." She groaned softly. This. could. not. be. happening.

Hermes came over and comforted her. That was not his area of expertise but he tried. He didn't know what to do besides crack a joke but this obviously wasn't the time for that, even he king of jokes knew that.
Poseidon began to pace and as he did it looked like he flowed. What was attacking them.
In the back of his mind he wondered if Hermes was hiding something.
Hermes himself wondered if he was being controlled with out his knowledge but he was sneaky no one could have gotten passed him unless they were Hades who had the Helm of Darkness, even Athena's invisibility couldn't get passed him. His expression became stressed and worried.

I stayed out of the conversation, only one other could cause this.They would not be happy, this was not a quest for the children.

Poseidon tensed. Last time she visited his wife they were in marriage counseling, "Why would you need to do that?" he asked trying to connect the dots. He furrowed his brow she would not be going there without him that was for sure. And she wouldn't be allowed with out his invite but his wife was special territory.
Hermes perked up. He had a hunch why but Ampherite wouldn't know anything. She was very clueless when it came to her fathers business plus if her father was causing it he would know because it would be a message for Poseidon then there would be a battle at sea. It had to be something older, than him, someone with more influence.
Thinking through all this though physically hurt Hermes head givin him a headache but he decided not to show anyone so he kept his pain hidden for now.

Poseidon didn't let up. "Last time you said that we had to counseling. What's the real reason Aphrodite?"
Hermes interjected he was the only one who was allowed anywhere without an invite he was the messenger, "Aphrodite tell me the message and I'll give it to her." He smiled a more quirky smile, hopefully to get on her good side. He looked at Poseidon who seemed to approve this plan more.

"Do you not trust me, it has nothing to do with your relashionship issues and i'm afraid is no message you can deliver."
I suppose i could have used a better excuse than his useless wife but no thinking of that there were bigger and smaller issues to tend.Like choosing a gift for Eros if he was responsible for that war and making sure father was not the one behind this, not worrying if Poseidon was able to see through my charade.

"Give me a straight answer Aphrodite." Poseidon said, he wasn't easily fooled. And he wasn't going to just give her permission to go into his realm when it wasn't the designated time of the year.
Hermes was now offended. Every message was one he could deliver, "Excuse me, I deliver all messages. If it's not one I can deliver then it must not be a message."
Poseidon then interjected, "If your afraid of it being Uranus or Oceanus i would know, already. Uranus has no power over the ocean and since Oceanus peacefully gave me the realm and went into retirement so to speak."
