Amaria sighed and didn't say anything more. "I have to get back to teaching Griffin..." she said. Though her brain was still muddled. She'd been waiting ages for him to kiss her, hadn't she? So why did it feel so...wrong?

David was surprised by the hug but didn't push her away.

Rory knew there was now an awkward silence. But she desperately didn't want to sound cheesy.

"You do that." He said, his mind clearly on something else, her kiss with Aiden to be more specific. Not like he cared, which he did. But this was how it was with Luke to. He would always be the brother to both her and Corrie.

Griffin saw Amaria return a bit flustered, "You okay?" he asked.

People normally ditched Corrie's class, so she was fine with a bit of free time.

Amaria looked up, as if surprised to see him. "Huh? Oh, right...yeah. I'm fine."

(David likes Rory, Rory likes David, Griffin likes Rory, no one at the moment likes Griffin. Foster likes Amaria, Amaria likes Aiden who is being a playa with her and Atlantia though he likes Atlantia. Corrie likes Foster, Woody possibly likes Corrie (upon gifted's approval), Dillilla likes Foster (upon Gifted's approval)... and I think i got the whole love situation covered LOL... sorry i needed to plan that out)

Griffin raised an eyebrow but didn't say anymore. He finished the water in the bottle he had. And felt strength come over him.

Rory felt worse now. She was the first one, she was even more clueless on how to respond. "Talking helps." she told him, it was the first smart thing that came to her mind.

Foster went to his place by the big house, and took in the sun. He had archery after lunch.

Amaria nodded and drew backbiter again. "Ready to train some more?"

David laughed humorlessly. "Yeah, it does. Thanks."

Aiden wiped his mouth, a smirk quirking his lips. He'd done as that guy had asked now he wouldn't have to put up with that annoying daughter of Zeus anymore. He'd confused and upset her so she wouldn't be able to fight back.

Griffin nodded. As he twirled his sword around signaling he was ready. It was a habit one other person had. Grissom. It was a bad habit, but very fun to do.

Rory smiled, "My pleasure." She always learned more when she listened. Alot of death surrounded him. She began to wonder, but didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

Corrie sat on the porch daydreaming, a weird thing for a daughter of Ares to do but she was a girl.

(i have a feeling that Aiden and Foster will have to work together at some point... then Foster is going to loose his cool at one point with Aiden then we'll have a mini war LOL)

David smiled. "What about you? What was your childhood like?"

Aiden returned to Atlantia.

Griffen blocked easily, and took a swing. Something was wrong.

Rory looked at him, it wasn't that hard to talk about. "I spent alot of time in Foster care. I knew who my dad was. But he was a detictive, very logical blunt person. Got to the bottom of things. He got on the wrong side of the gun one day and bam no more dad. The day before he told me about who I was, who my mom was. And then when she claimed me four years ago at a foster home that was more like the orphanage in Annie than a home, that I ran. Well, drove. Drove from Florida to here. I never dwelled to much on dad's death. He died doing what he loved, and he died how he always said he would, in the line of fire." She looked at him. She had told the older kids, usually didn't tell the newer ones till they had been there at least a year. "Not that crazy." She shrugged.

David felt a twinge of sorrow for her but nodded. "I'm certain he's in elysium right now as happy as a clam."
Amaria tried to dodge but tripped and just barely missed being slashed across the chest.

Rory smiled, "Thanks." she wondered what was withthe clam reference but decided not to ask.

Griffin then stopped his sword still ready, just in case. Atlantia taught him something. "Are you sure your okay?" he asked.

Corrie saw David and Rory together on the Athena porch. Even though she was still mad atthe girl for advisement stabbing her. She was glad Rory was finally connecting and talking and making a friend.
But her mind wondered back to Griffin's immense talent with the sword. Something like that wasn't born over night.

Foster closed his eyes. But the moment he did a painful headache came. He leaned over gripping his head. It was like someone Gibbs' slapped (NCIS reference) with a bag of bricks. He caught a glimpse of the future. It was him, he looked distraught. He knew where he was. His hoe. Amaria was there and he asked for help. The scene changed as his headache got worse. He saw all the gods in their full glory. Even as a glimpse of the future it hurt. But the Foster in the future was standing sting and even brighter than the gods. Then one last scene, Griffin in the River Styx.
He came out of the headache but it caused alot of pain, and energy not to mention the gods in full form wiped him out. He closed his eyes and was told what to do in a peaceful dream.

(Lol, NCIS is my favorite show. I didn't get how Mike is the heart of NCIS in the last episode. for like half of it I was going. "It has to be Abby.")
David smiled again. "Any time."

Griffin leaned on his sword. "You wanna talk about it. I know it can help sometimes." he said. Not sure if he would be able to pay attention. But he would try. He was loaded with dad issues.

Rory smiled again, "Thanks." she saw Corrie and beckoned her to come over. Corrie and Rory exchanged some looks and the message was clear about the two.
"I have a question." Corrie after a bit, "Do you think there is something Foster can't remember or isn't telling us. I mean he has the huge scar on his back like Foster's, and Erik's. Not to mention he fights like he has been fighting for years e en though he claims he has had two lessons one from Amaria and one from Atlantia where he learned to fall." She explained.
Rory looked at David. Her face lit up but in a suspicious way. "I know we shouldn't infringe on his privacy butthere has to be something.

Griffin nodded. "I wish I could be of help in that department." he said.

"I think." Rory said, "We need to talk to Foster and Hermes." She didn't say Poseidon cause he was less likely to come if asked.
"I agree." Corrie said. "Foster would know, he's been here the longest, and probably knows about the scars. But why talk to Hermes?"
"Because Hermes claimed Griffin too. Said it was a blessing. There has to be something else. Plus years ago a Hermes kid named Grissim was pushed into the lake by an Athena girl. He never came back. I think there might be a connection. And Hermes would know."
"Well let's go find Foster."

Amaria shruged. "Hey, we can't all be good at everything. I'm pretty bat there too." She picked up her sword again, this time with more focus for that time being.

David nodded. "I can get one of the guys to contact hermes and get him to come." He piped up. He wanted as much as everyone else to get to the bottom of this.

Corrie nodded in agreement she thought they would make a good couple. Even if love wasn't her forte she had a hunch they were made fir eachother. After all he seemed to make Rory happy which was a rare sight. "Off tonfind Foster?" se suggested.

Griffin nodded. He twisted his sword in his hand again. He didn't even know where the habit came from. He took a swing and she blocked.

Foster was in the med cabin giving a few kids bandaids. Then came an Aphrodite girl who really had broken her arm. That was an experience she'll never forget, or stop talking about, and he'll never want to remember.

David smiled. "I think he's in the med cabin. See you guys later." and he turned and walked off.

Amaria picked up the pace this time but didn't go too fast.

Aiden arrived at his cabin. "Did you do it?" he jumped at Nemesis' voice.
"Yes." he hissed.
"She's not completely confused. You have to do something else."
"Like what?"
"I hvae an idea."" Seeing his frown, she smiled. "Don't worry.You'll enjoy this one." She was rght...he would.

"Bye." Rory said. She and Corrie headed to the med cabin. They heard Foster yelling at an Aphrodite girl to stop moving her arm. They tried really hard not to laugh. If someone pushed his buttons it was the Aphrodite kids.

She attacked and Griffin matched. As he got more comfortable he smiled it was a toothy grin that made him seem happy with a touch of evil undertones. When he faught he looked like Hermes, with all of Poseidon's power.

(Gifted Aiden left Atlantia a while ago)
