David walked in and Amaria beckoned him over. "Hey, can I ask you a favor?"

Sure." He replied nodding.

"Can you go to my cabin and look on my bed. There's a little stuffed Beagle puppy. Can you bring him to me?" She was a bit embarassed to admit that she had a stuffed animal. Much less one she'd never slept without. He nodded and walked off.

Griffin looked around the med cabin. He had run out of things to talk about and his ADHD started to attack.
His eyes fell on Foster who looked quite peaceful, he looked alot healthier than when he first got into the bed.

Amaria shifted. "Sorry your first day was such a bust." I said. "If it's any consolation, not all days will be that bad."

"Don't worry about it. That's how my first days normally go. Oh no Griffin's hurt on the first day he ran into a locker," he said in a mocking voice, "It's normal." he looked at the red scar on his hand. It hurt when he closed his fingers and when he touched it.

Amaria grimaced. "That really sucks. And I don't really know much about first days. Haven''t really been out of camp much since my mom got remarried." I shrug, acting cool about it even though there was still a small twinge. She'd been an awesome mom before she married Henry...after? Well, that was something she didn't want to think about.

Griffin rose an eyebrow, hew knew she wasn't telling him something but he didn't press. "I've had more than I can count. I think I've been to every school in Montanna." He laughed, then the ADHD kicked in, "Hey do you think a pit scorpion could have fallen from the sky or been in the Pegasi stables?" he asked.

Amaria shook her head. "You've never exactly seen one have you? They're not the kind of thing we stock in the woods. They're extrememly lethal. You're lucky Atlantia woke up or you'd have been dead by the time someone found you."

"Well I was asleep when it stung me, kinda. But how am I supposed to know, like you said it was my first day." he looked down feeling really stupid, something that wasn't new to him.

Amaria grimaced, feeling guilty. "Sorry, I forget sometimesthat not everyone's been her as long as Foster and I. But no, however that thing go in, it wasn't an accident of coincedence. Someone hade to have summoned it."

Amaria shrugged. "I don't know. You were the only one out at the lake so I don't know. I hope you're right and it was just a mistake. But that doesn't mean that we don't need to find out who did that."

"I wasn't stung at the lake. I was stung in my cabin." Griffin said. "I came in after riding a pegasus, which is really easy. I hope we find out soon." He informed her.

Amaria nodded. "Right, your cabin." she made note of that. "and that makes two of us." David came in with the stuffed animal and as soon as it was within reach, Amaria lunged and grabbed it with her good arm, snuggling it like a five year old in a thunderstorm.

"Like a two ton weight was slammed on my body, and a knife was driven through my hand. But other than that I am as fine as a pig in the mud." His southern accent really came out in that last part, proving he was a Montanna man.

David raised his eyebrow at the analogy. "Right...anyway, glad you're alive but I have sword training with Atlantia now and she scares me too much for me to be late so, gotta go." Amaria waved, snuggling her stuffed animal. It's fure was white brown and black and the white was dark with age. (I got that idea from my own childhood stuffed animal Shiloh. He's currently sitting with me on my bed. *Snuggles Shiloh*)

(I named mine because I'd been wanting to watch the movie Shiloh and it looke like the dog off of there.)
David nodded and scurried out. "Thanks." I looked down. I'd never been told I was a good teacher and I was surprised how good the compliment felt but didn't let it go to my head. "And she can be a bit...intense."

"She knocked me to the ground within seconds. I was told Hermes' kids and kids of the big three were supposed to be good at sword fighting. Well I'm starting to think it doesn't apply to me." He said. "Even if I am not officially a son of Hermes." He looked down. He was average at everything.

Amaria shook her head. "No, you have talent, Atlantia's just not used to teaching campers who are new to this sort of thing. With learning weapons training, it take time to master it. Time and patience needed to unlock those abilities."

He nodded. He guessed sword fighting was different than swimming or running two things which were the easiest for him, besides horseback riding. "Do you think there was a reason I could never understand horses before I came to camp. I mean I here them talk, but back home they were silent but I could like feel there emotions. But I couldn't hear them." he asked and explained.

Amaria thought. "Some demigods' powers develop later and more gradually than others. That's probably it. You were probably headed toward the whole understanding them thing when you were back home and that's why you could sense emotions. But, that's just my guess. I cna also give you Dyonisis' rendition: 'Like I would know? I don't really care, I hate you all.'"

Griffin laughed he had yet to see Dionyssis but he figured since he was injured he probably wouldn't. And with his luck he was probably one of the gods that didn't like the whole double blessing thing. "Good to know, I guess it was the same for swimming and running. I was always really good at those. What about you? How did you find out?" he decided to skim over how he met Aaron his death still fresh on his mind.

Amaria thought back. "My mom told me when I was nine. When she met Henry it was 'you're a demigod, here's a brochure, now get your ass out.' and then I left." She shrugged. "But I don't care. She made her choice and I refuse to let it effect me."

Griffin nodded. He had a comment but decided not to say it, for his safety. "What about Foster?" he said finishing the flash of water which then seemed to replenish itself.

Griffin motioned to Foster who had yet to move, but he looked stronger if that was possible.
