Dilila: " Hi." I muttered keeping beside Amaria the new camp half-blood shirt way to big on me, it had been rolled up and hair tied three times and still hung lower than I would have wanted. I pulled my hair over my shoulder and let my bangs fall in front of my eye as usual.

Foster smiled. "How are ya liking it here?" he asked. He wanted her to push her hair out of her face but he didn't. That would be an invasion of space.

Griffen walked past clearly upset and clearly not knowing where he was going. He saw a girl tending to a fire and henkept walking to he came to a creek in woods. There he sat. He like the sound of the babbling water. It comforted him and didn't smell as bad as the chlorine swimmin pools he was used to swimming in.

Amaria: "Hey, can you watch Dilla for a sec while I go get the Hermes boys to leave the new guy alone?" I didn't wait for an answer as I walked over. "Enough you guys, be nice." they shot 'awwww's and 'killjoy's at me but I was used to it and actually found it humorous.

Foster nodded. He was used to watching the newer campers and well this wasn't baby sitting to say the least.

Griffen hated being alone he missed Aaron. He wanted to go home. He was so confused and now he found out that his dad was a god and they would have to claim him. He took his wallet and pulled a picture out. It was the epitome of him. He was in his track uniform at a celebration party. He had been pushed into the pool and stood there hands on hips like water was his realm. So many things confused him at the moment. He pulled out the next picture. Him and Aaron a red head that had a striking resemblance to Rurpert Grint. The last picture was of him and his mom. He was in scrubs with wet hair because he had just gotten to his job at the hospital where his mom worked part time, he had just gotten out of swim practice.

Dilila: " Um its more of a home to me already than my actual home. I don't know how it is since I've been here like one day but, you know, I think." I said getting more and more confident as I talked, maybe Amaria was right after all.

Atlantia: I left Woody to eat and went over to Amaria. " I see you had to straighten out the Hermes guys again." I snickered glaring at the Hermes guys. Capture the flag let them know not to mess with me about a year ago.

Amaria: I nodded. "Needless to say they are as rambunctious as usual." I muttered. Most of the hermes boys and I didn't get along well. Not since my first year when they put purple jello powder in my blonde stre3aks and it didn't come out for six months.

"I know the feeling." He smiled it was very genuine. "I was like that nine years ago. Trekked from the most evil place in America to here. But I think ts because there is a sense of acceptance here. Ya know. People like you because you are you, you don't try to be some one else." his words were like song lyrics.

Griffen put the pictures in his wallet again and just sat there looking at the sky. "Who am I?" he asked "You make me run halfway cross the country. I want some help now. I got here you gotta finish it." he looked down, "Whoever you are."

Woody: I walked over to my sister. " Hey Amaria didn't get to talk to you that much yesterday. It also seems there are some new folks here and I would like to know about that." I said as usual acting like the boss in charge going into planning without a situation to put it up against. " I also have some information you need to know, it involves the new-bees and both of our cabins." I said to Amaria practically whispering in her ear at the end.

Dilila: " I have been running from the dog beasts for a week now. I don't like it but I feel safer here than any where else I have been in my life, and I've lived many many places." I said mumbling now. My history was something I would not want to repeat and would not go back to if I did have a choice.

Amaria: I nodded and led him away from Dilla and the others. "What do you want to know?" I asked, seriously worried about whatever he had to say about or two cabins.

Griffen jumped halfway in the air at the voice. "What the hell?!" he said standing up. "Sorry. I'm kinda new, who are you?" kinda was an understatement. It was like he had a signe that glowed bright yellow hello I am new on him. he was new and it was obvious.

Foster smiled and finally pushed her hair out of her face, "Your safe now, you have a new family." he paused, "The sun hits your face brilliantly and lights up your eyes you should keep your hair out of it." he smiled. He loved it when the sun glowed on people's faces it made him smile even bigger.

Dilila: " I don't like to be some one people notice. " I said letting my hair stay where it was but wishing it was still covering my face. I had always preferred it that way.

David: I shrugged. "Dunno yet. That's the thing. You never know when they'll claim you. Some, like that girl Dilla, immediately. Others? They get claimed but it could be up to a year before that happens."

Amaria: "Three have arrived. Dilla, who is a daughter of Zeus, David and Griffin who are both unclaimed." I replied.

Foster frowned, "That's kinda sad. But here is my advice to that. You won't be noticed unless you want to be. Your hair won't help you with that." he gave her a small smile and made another sunbeam dance across her face and hair. She almost glowed.

The pace of the river picked up, as Griffen got mad. "A year. It better be some year then since I lost my best friend. It better be worth it. Hope you get claimed soon." he told him.

David: I shrugged. "I don't think you have to worry about that. I have a feeling that you'll be claimed soo. and, I couldn't really care less. They think I'm probably a son of nemesis or another of the minor gods. I don't really care. I only come here because it's away from my dad. He's such a freaking pushover. Always letting my step-mom walk all over him. One day, though. I'll get backa t her for pushing us around.." I growl.

Dilila: " I know but it helps me." I told him giving him a quick smile before it turned into a neutral half smile.

Griffen nodded and made note to not get on his bad side. "That could be cool." Griffen said. He highly doubted he would be claimed. "I don't think I will be claimed soon. I mean look how long they had waited before." he sighed, "So what do you like to do?" he asked. He hoped he coud find one friend here.

"Well now you know my thoughts on the matter. Not like it will change anything. But I am always here to help. I think we might be more similar than you think." a few of the older campers new his story but if they weren't here fornmorethan seven years they wouldn't know anything about his past. He stopped talking about when some of the Hermes kids decided that he was a fruit.

Amaria: I visibly paled. "And...there's me...you...Dilla...Atlantia....Griffin....David...and Foster. Seven new halfbloods. you actually think it's happening so soon after the last major quest?" I swallowed hard as my mind processed the information. Good news: I possibly would be getting out of camp bad news: we were probably in several kinds of danger.

"So your telling me to steer clear of Hermes guys and the big three?" He wondered who the big three were, "Oh wait you mean Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus?" he asked answering his own question. "Maybe your a son of Ares if you like to fight he's the war god right? I like swimming and running, nothing special there."

"I don't think so. One of the Hermes guys said I lpoked like Hermes himself. Then when I said Iran for three days to get here they definitely are convinced. But I'm not really the joking or thieving type." he looked down, "I'm not cool enough to be a son of Poseidon though. You might be you look like a swimmer, and that's coming from one." he tried to smile.

Amaria: I nodded. "Seems...understandable." She noticed that it was noon now. "Wow we've been talking longer than I thought. Best get back to Dilla." She turned that way then stopped. "And I'm glad you returned safely, Woody."
