Jed: I went, pulling Trevor along. "Come on, you lug."

Alex: Somehow, I had spoken the whole book. I took a breath, realizing I had been foolish. I have never been good with people. And Pheophe is the person I have to a friend. "Forgive me," I whispered. "Hugo, please give giadance, grandmother." I don't know why I called her grandmother, but it felt right saying it. Memories fell together. I wondered if maybe I was a socresses. Or actually had a family looking for me. I went outside. The others had gone. I whispered, not knowing if he could hear, "I apologize, Connor. I was foolish, and I don't blame you if you never talk to me." I blushed deep red as I went inside to prepare the fire.

Conner: I lifted my head up as I heard my name, a whisper, I was glad I was in this body. If I wasn't there was no way I could have heard the apology. A smile crept across my scaled face before I closed my eyes as I saw her come in.

Alex: I thought I had heard a voice say that they forgave me. I nodded and smiled. I got to the trees and leftover damage for wood. I hummed softly an old tune. With the fire going, I got a good bit of herbs.
