Maria stood hidden in the trees, watching over Cross Academy with a very devious smile. She chuckled evily, "Miss Yuuki. I think you might want to watch your back. Kaname couldn't, maybe you can." Her voice traveled through the wind and carried to Yuuki's ears.

Yuuki tensed and turned towards the voice, her eyes cold and she reached for Artemis. "Damn you, Maria...."

Yuuki drew Artemis tensing to fight. The image of the dying Kaname burned in her mind feeding her hatred as het eyes took on a blood colored luster and she charged at Maria.

Maria smirked and she suddenly jumped into the tree again. "You do know the dark is my friend, right? Have you forgotten that I was strong enough to kill your beloved Kaname Kuran!?"

Yuuki snarled and crushed the tree with her powers. "And Kaname was strong enough to destroy your belove Shizuka and Ichiru!?" She countered coldly, not being the least bit gentle with her words. "You're all alone."

Maria's hands clenched. "Why you...I'd watch what you say, Yuuki before someone else you love is dead. And I know exactly who to go for." Maria's eyes were a burning bright red, filled with rage. Her hands were clenched so tightly, blood dripped out.
