Nikki: I frown. "Lets go." I grab him and pull them into the hospital, walking to the check in desk and saying something they can't hear that terrifies the clerk and she rushes Jes into the back and we have to wait until she's stable.

Nikki: I pack and walk into the den as my dad comes in, shockingly sober.

Dad: "Nikki, before you go, an old friend of yours came for a visit. I don't think he needs introduction."

A boy with brown hair and eyes, tall with a regal air about him wearing the white Cross Academy nitch class uniform comes in and Nikki is frozen in shock or horror.
