Evan repeated himself, "THe mountains to train, and learn to control our powers better."

Lizzy: "Okay, so what does being your travel partner entail?" I asked.

[Charlie]

"We go to the mountain together, to cause less suspician than travelling in a group." Evan told her. "It entails exactly what it sounds like it entails."

[bookcrazI]

Lizzy: I nodded and pulled my robe a bit tighter. "So when do we leave? Will I have time to pack?" I asked. I raised my eyebrows in interest, what was his power?

[Charlie]

"If you pack fast we will leave after I talk with Illia. If not it will take a bit longer." He told her. He scratched the back of his neck, something he did when situations became awkward for him.

Lizzy; "Okay, I'll be right back!" I smiled, I sauntered off and once outside I ran home to my apartment. I threw a bunch of clothes in a bag and changed from the brown robe I was wearing before. In my cute travel suit and black heels I rolled my suitcase out of my apartment and back to the tavern. Once there I found Evan again, slightly out of breath I smiled. "I'm ready!"

[Charlie]

(i think they are supposed to have cloaks)

Evan nodded, "Well we have to wait till Illia talks to me. About what. I am not sure." He turned away from her, and as he did his hair swished, on the back of his neck revealing the slightest glint of his little lightening bold scar. He grabbed a map of the table, and stuffed it into his back pack. Underneath his cloak, he was wearing blue jeans, and a plaid shirt. He was a Texas cowboy for sure.

(she's new so she doesn't have one yet...)
Lizzy: I raised an eyebrow, who was this kid? "So, condsidering you've seen my power, and a bit more, what's your power?" I asked innocently.

[Charlie]

(i think just the time period they all have cloaks)

"Electricity." He replied. He took his own ball out of his bag, and held it in his hand, with in seconds it was gloawing a purple, blue color. "Kind of boring." he commented.

(oh...then she's wearing a cloak over her classy suit)
Lizzy: I looked at it facinated. "Not at all, that's facinating, you could be like a human battery...wait a second," I took out my cell phone, "Can you recharge this?"

[Charlie]

Evan put the orb away, and took her phone. He touched it and it was charged. "Their you go." He smiled. "I can't get you signal however when we are on the mountain.

Lizzy: I looked at the phone then grabbed his hand and examined it. "That is sooo cool..." I mumbled. I poked his hand inquizzitivly(sp?).

[Charlie]

"I'm not going to shock you if that's what you want." He laughed. "So all people with powers have marks, what's yours?"

Lizzy: I blushed then turned around and lifted the back of my shirt exposing a few of the everpresent tiger and other random animal prints tattooed on my back. "This."

[Charlie]

"Nice." He said. He flipped hahis longish brown hair on the back of his neck up, and revealed the red lightening bolt, that looked like a fresh scar. "This is my mark." He said flipping the hair back down as soon as he was certain she saw it. "Don't tell anyone of its location." his tone became serious, he was not joking, it was almost threatening.

Lizzy: I nodded, " Okay, but I bet you won't tell me the reason why." I smiled a bit.

[Charlie]

"Nope. I won't And bugging me about it won't get me to tell you." he was dead serious, but still had this lovable tone. He had his reasons for keeping it secret.

I was kinda thinking like everything is Medival-ly (The Dark Ages ) but everyone's personalities and thoughts are 21st century so things like 'woman are equal to men' and things that Einstein taught us we know of and electrictical things (but the Resistance like to remain mysterious and rooted to their old ways so they go via candles). Basically the region has been shut off from the outside world but know about it themselves... When I explain things I realise why I am never ever going to become a teacher/tutor...but then again I don't want to be one, not first choice anyhoo.
As for robes, it's just Elders but Ilia just offered because she was in need of clothes. Youngs tend to wear whatever they want as long as it's dark colours and has a hood XD


Ilia tapped her foot whilst waiting outside. She looked into the room and smiled at what the girl was doing; she reminded her of when she first joined and where Evan was standing stood Mardin... Two years was a long time stuck here.
"Got everything sorted I trust, Cortello?"
Speak of the devil, Ilia turned her head immediately, "Yes, just gettin the new-comer sorted. So, how's Elder business?"
"Classified."
He raised a brow at her as she shook her head, a smirk on her face, "Look like the title has gone to someone's hood. Well done on it though; I've got another two years, plus until I can no longer wear my jacket..."
She chuckled lightly but he didn't seem to move...
"Yes, well, that's all. The rest of the Yound Blood have left with Ulric's promise of watching and guidance though that is your job..."
"Yes, but you don't mess with Ulric, eh?" Ilia smirked, "I'll see ya when this is all over then."
"Of course," he nodded, "I just hope that you make it back alright. Goodbye."
"Yeah, bye," she sighed as he walked down the stairs, "Though you have changed Mardie. You have changed a lot..."
Ilia turned around to see Evan showing her his Mark; at least they were bonding. Sighing, the girl rolled her shoulders before tapping her invisible watch at Evan; if what Mardin said was true then they'd need to get going sharpish and despite her knowing him well, sne knew that he was the one to be dealing the punishments.

[Charlie]

Evan walked outside with Lizzy. Feeling as if it was the right time. He noticed Illia looking at them he walked closer. "You needed to talk before we left?" In the back of his mind however he was thinking of how he showed his mark. He had a feeling he would regret that action. But he did become very serious when told Lizzy to never speak of it's location.

Ilia nodded before waving him into the room; she didn't need Lizzie to hear, she could have done but it just seemed like she needed to.
"Right, I was just going to say to keep an eye on her blah blah blah. Also, I was wondering whether you wanted to take the shorter but more challenging climb. I'm going to be taking it so I can get to the mountain top first so that I can see that everything is sorted...also so I can pretend that you can teleport with the spheres. She looks like she can handle it, minus the wheeled bag and the clothes. But it's up to you."
With that, she produced two maps, one with one route marked out and one with a different route on it.

[Charlie]

"I think we are up for the challenge," he said. He looked at Lizzie and he knew she might put up a fight. But for what it was worth he preferred a shorter climb. He hoped she had a different bag and wouldn't mind sacrificing some of her clothes.
He took the map. "Thanks." he smiled.

lizzy: I gave a thumbs up to whatever they were talking about and swiftly altered my suitcase, pushing down the handle and pulling out the back straps. Lizzy Blue was always prepaired. I mentally pushed Rvan's information into a little file cabinate in my mind and the rest of the newfound into too. "Let's go!" I sang out excited.

[Charlie]

(I didn't think she could hear them)

"Good luck. I've marked the dangers on there with a note. Think of me if you need help," she winked before picking up her bag, "Meet you there."
Waving them off, she looked back to the room and sighed; she still had another ten minutes or so before she would set off.
"You should be there by nightfall if you don't do anything stupid, okay?"

(she couldn't, she saw them looking at her and aknowledged it )
Lizzy: "Nothing stupid? Okay, I'll try my best.." I joked with a smile. This was going to be fun! I looked to Evan and widened my smile as if to say 'We are going to beat her there!'.

[Charlie]

"Don't get your hopes up." he told her. "Are you ready to go?" he knew this would be a trek. And he knew it despite her not wanting to have anything stupid didn't mean it want going to help.
