"Cool..." she murmured, watching his every movement like a cat stalking her prey, "Anyway, seen anyone else? Everyone's just all busy doing their own thing and stuff... Need any help with anything at all?"
She somehow snapped her eyes from his body to his face.

[Charlie]

"I think most people are asleep." he said, and then he thought, did he need help? And he got it, he needed help fixing the trench coat, which was part of his costume. "Yeah I do need help." he told her.

Her ears perched up slightly, "With what?"
Leaping off of her butt, she landed softly on her feet. To be honest she was more curious than anything else.

[Charlie]

"Part of my costume for the show ripped, and I need some help fixing it." he stated. "Especially before tomorrow." he smiled, praying she would help, and she knew how to sew.

Ilia shrugged, "Sure, but how badly? I'm not amazing at sewing, but I can just fine."
She smiled at him reassuringly, just something that he looked like he needed to her right then.

[Charlie]

"Just a rip on the seem of the sleeve." He said. "happened when I put it back on, I think I might need a totally new one soon." He placed his hands on his hips, conveniently partially covering the large scar that graced one side of his body. "Can you help?" he asked.

"Good luck with getting a new one..." she muttered, "and yeah, just give me a tick to get my things and whatnot."
Yawning, she stretched her arms out over to the door in the corner of the room. Fortunately for them both her room was the nearest one.
"He stills thinks that he can hide that scar? I've been looking at him for a while and noticed only just now. on't worry Tommy, I shan't judge ya mate."
Grabbing a small purse-like bag, she decided on the fact that she needed to learn how to sleep again instead of staying up all night being by herself.
"Okay, I haven't got much thread left but there should be enough to get the job done as long as you weren't lying about it just being the seem. If it's just that then it's fine."

[Charlie]

"I promise, it's just the seem." he told her, as he guided her down to his own room. It was the farthest down, a room could be.
He had no real windows, just portholes. He never really let anyone in the room. People tended to feel uneasy when the entered. For the whole thing had a bluish green light about it, and the colors were blues, teals, and greens. He opened the door, and walked in, two surfboards hung on the wall, he grabbed a coat that was on a dresser below them.
"See, just a rip on the seam." He showed her the shoulder of the coat.

"Okie dokie. Nice colour scheme. Most people's rooms tend to be bright red, something that I can't tell about now."
She took the coat and sighed; she had enough thread to do it. Unzipping her purse, she took out some of the things that she needed for it.
"So, you ready for tomorrow then?"

[Charlie]

"Yep, I might make a change though." he said, as he watched her mend his costume. "Oh, and thanks, you're one of the few who has seen it."he told her.

"Weally?" she looked up to guy, taking a seat on the floor, the thread held in her mouth, "What change?"
She took the thread out of her mouth and hooked it through the eye easily. The seem wasn't too badly damaged; it was just from wear and tear.

[Charlie]

"Doing a flip of a shark's nose at the end instead of coming up pretending like i need air." he told her. He looked at her, something sincere in his glance. "Yeah, besides the ringmaster you're the only one."

But he's been everywhere.
Nodding, she started the running stitch, carefully threading it through.
"Nice, but you don't need to come up for air which might just freak people out...but then again I'm half-girl half-zoo so I can't speak. But that sounds good. Maybe sometime you can pretend to get yourself eaten alive or something and then have them spit you out on land or something... Okay, impossible but if you ever need a half-shark girl you know where to come to."

[Charlie]

"I stick with them almost getting me. But thanks for the offer." He said, no shark attacks for him. He had gone through that once, and he wasn't about to go do it again, real or not.

Ilia cleared her voice, ready to mimic one of her favourite villians, "Why so serious, son?"
He just looked scared poopless to her, the way that his pupils changed; that was the best way to tell for her anyday.
"But anyway, this is done. I'd try and get a new one but it may be difficult, but worth a shot, eh?" She tossed the trench to him, it landing right on his shoulder, "but y'know the Ringmaster; he isn't likely to listen...at least he doesn't to me it seems."

[Charlie]

"I'm sure I can find one laying around somewhere. He would hate for an act to not be as popular because of a ripped costume." he said, avoiding the first question she asked. He was entitled to his own secrets.

She shrugged, "But when you're in the water it doesn't make too much of a difference, eh? But I'm not goma argue, I'm too catty as it is..."
She bit her lip to stop herself from giggling like a school girl, but instead found herself lying on the floor with her tail going wild by itself.

[Charlie]

"Well I don't wear it in the water, it's what cover's up my swim trunks." He said, they weren't swim trunks, but more like shorts competitive swimmers wore. He gave her an odd look, but didn't question anything.

"Don't give me that look, just because you're not punny," she giggled.
Her white tail sweeped infront of her face, covering up her hand which was covering her mouth. She bit her lip, swinging her eyes over to his before she leapt up; the whole boat shook.
"What the hell?!" she shrieked, looking out of the porthole, "Damn stupid navigator hitting the waves roughly! Thought we hit a reef or something!"

[Charlie]

(that's the best thing i could find )

"Sorry." he said, he had no reason to judge. "If we weren't down here, you would have never felt the bump. Plus hitting a reef would end up completely differently." he explained, knowing the ocean better than so many people.

(No worries, I personally find it rather epic )

"Yeah yeah, we'd either be lucky and be stuck or have the ship torn apart, not that you would mind Aqua Man. I on the other hand hate water and wouldn't have enough time to grow gills efficently so would drown like the others, eh? And you have nothing to be sorry fo- Fish! Okay, now I'm peckish!... This is why I haven't got a porthole unlike all of you guys, otherwise I'll be craving fish all darn day."
Ilia slumped down on his bed before looking to the surfboards on the wall. She was half-tempted to ask if he'd ever surfed before, but she felt like she had already questioned him enough for one night. With a yawn and another stretch, she laid back on his bed, her tail hanging loosely next to her side.

"I would try to save as many as I could." he said. he caught her looking at his boards. "You like 'em? I used to surf long time ago. Don't do it as much anymore." he explained. He truly did miss surfing, but didn't know if he could stand with out getting that gut wrenching feeling that every creature in the ocean wanted to kill him.

Lol, I'll have a go tomorrow to see if I can make Ilia.

Ilia nodded, looking at the boards, "Yeah? I thought that you were someone who stayed under the waves rather than riding them to be honest. They're nice though and I would love to surf, but I'm too busy trying not to get all that wet, hence why you never see me on top deck much, only when I have to do a quick job like climbing the rigging when the acrobat broke their leg and I was the only one able to do it without fear of falling..."
She sighed again, looking to Tommy's face. She attempted a smile but it came out a little crooked for sure.

"Before all the underwater stuff, I was a surfer, pretty good to." he said, he was falling for it. He was going to tell her and he knew. Hell it was a good story, he didn't have to say the ending. "Actually the surfing got me to be like I am today."

Iliz raised a brow, Someone's saying about their past? Most must keep it under wraps due to no one caring.
"Yeah? What? Suck on a boat with a load of circus acts and talking to a girl with a cat's tail?... Continue, sorry, I'm interupting."

[Charlie]

"Well I was being rather stupid, surfing during a storm, but those are the only times the waves are absolutely killer. I had just crashed, and hit my head really hard on the board. Well I was bleeding, and their were a few hungry sharks. One attacked, and when I woke up I was in a hospital feeling a bit strange." Of course their was a bit more do the story than that, but that was his secret.
