She watched as everyone talked and conversed merrily and she stayed on the outside, silent and cold behind the walls she'd built up.

The dream still rattled in her mind. The arrows, she remembered, had a symbol of a raindrop. As she reliazed that, she gasped, remembering that her birth certificate, right after her last name, was a raindrop.

Perrin eyed the food on the table distrustfully for several minutes, before her stomach growled again. She had'nt had anything to eat today.
Eventually she went for an apple and a roll- neither seemed easy to poison.
The red head sat across from the twins on a sofa, indian style, "Hey," she mumbled casually inbetween bites.

Perrin finished her apple and tossed the core into the trashcan from where she sat.
"I'm Perrin, and you guys are...?" she hesitated, "Wasn't there a girl over here a moment ago, as well?"

Natalie stood, braving the light and allowing the darkness to slowly unwrap its coils making her seem made of smoke.

"And I'm Sean." Sean said.
They didn't feel like explaining how to tell them apart again. But then again if she asked they would tell, if only people knew them then it wouldn't be a problem they had different personalities but first look they were identical to a t. Well they are until you look closer.

Sean just laughed. "Wait till she gets to know us." he whispered to Evan.
"Yeah I know." Evan said rather coldly.

Becky controlled her temper as long as she could. Checking every nook and corner for a way out. So far nothing. Not even a window to see if it was still night

Natalie shrugged. "Dunno what you guys do. I have every intention of leaving here tonight without ever being told what power I possess and continuing to live a normal human life." she said bluntly.

"I've never lived a normal life." Evan said.
"Well..." Sean said. Evan gave him a look.
They both knew of the incident that made their lives quite challenging.
Three days in that dark closet.
Evan had to be forced into his football helmet before every game because of what that helmet did.
Sean couldn't handle celebrations if the soccer team one.
Evan was a bit more sensitive to his claustrophobia than Sean, and both of them knew that.

Evan and Sean nodded, sort of understanding, both had a small fear of the dark, Sean probably a bit more.

She looked around clinging to all the darkest shadows. "It helps if I spend more time in the dark." she said. "I can withstand it longer.

She shrugged awkwardly, "I just don't think life should go back to the way it was. With great power comes great responsibility..." Perrin trailed of, blushing. "Maybe it's a stupid idea- a kid's tale even, but it makes sense to me..."
