Annamaria: I grin and almost lunge out of Henry's grasp. "Try it, then bitch. Make me scream!" Suddenly, Henry tosses me over his shoulder like a little kid. "Let's not," he says. I start kicking and punching, but it doesn't do much to a bug ape like him. "Hey, let me go you sick fuck! This ain't Tarzan and Jane!" I see his eyes move through his mask. "Good, because you couldn't be Jane even if you tried. Your mouth is too big." "Then take a good look at it, uncle fucker! Ahh" I open my mouth wide and wiggle my tongue.

Henry: I pinch her neck and she goes limp. Thank god for pressure points.

Sunni drifted into the bar. She was such an odd sight as she twirled into the room that mosts heads turned. Sunni was a lovely girl, and knew it. She sashayed up to the bartender and in an innocent voice inquired, "Squimberry juice?" The bartender just gave her a look generally reserved for the clinically insane. She sighed, "I thought not," and sat on a barstool next to a girl.(Vage)

vage:" do you mean strawberry juice?" i ask the girl next to me as i overheard what she said

"Hmm?" Sunni said, turning to look at the girl with large innocent doe eyes, "Oh no. I asked for strawberry juice yesterday. I have a vehement craving for squimberry juice, but no one has it. I dunno if it even exists." She energetically stuck out a hand to shake the girl's, "I'm Sunni, by the way. Sunni Night. Funny, right?" She paused a moment, her eyebrows furrowed. Then she grinned again, "Hey, that rhymes!"

On the other side of town, all was not as... "light-hearted", shall we say, as it was in the bar. A man about five and a half feet tall cowered in front of a terrifying female. Logahn Infitinite towered over him. She towered over him by around a foot, and glared down at him with glinting green eyes. Those eyes seemed to belong to the devil himself, or rather, herself. And the man's position was surely as terrible as Hell, as well.

He sank to his knees. "Please Miss Infinite, I'm begging you, I'll make the payments this month. I'll pay double, even! I have a good reason for not paying. It's my son, James- he has Topaz Fever. I couldn't afford to pay and keep him alive. I had no choice!"

"You had a choice, and you made it," Logahn responded coldly, "And you chose wrongly." She snapped her fingers and two Painless stepped forward, "Guards- escort our 'friend' to the Deja Cell."


Far away from that unfortunate scene, Sunni Night shook her head sadly. "No, I don't think it does," she admitted, then brightened, "Oh, well. Maybe next time I'll ask for gooseberry!"

Night marched down the road when she heard a voice behind her. It was none other than Angel of Death and he ex, Hilos. "I found out there's a way for you to get your wings back." (I need a name of one of them that might be supposed to die soon.).

((@Fallen ~ Perhaps I should have clarified(I edited the post a few seconds ago): The whole thing with Logahn took place at her mansion across town. Then again, maybe Sterling is there, checking up on her or something. *Shrugs*))

Sunni got a very thoughtful look on her face. "Yes, I think you're right," she said, nodding, "Strawberries exist, squimberries do not. Gooseberries exist... do googleberries exist? Such pressing concerns. You know, someone really should make a list of all the fruits that are real, and all the ones that I just think would be fun to have."


"No, please. Please, God, no," the man pleaded, as the guards dragged him to his feet, "Miss Infinite, please. I told you, I have a wife and kids. Think of my poor son! He's only eight-years-old, for God's sake. Topaz Fever kills people! If someone doesn't pay for the treatments... he'll die."

Logahn just waved an uncaring hand in his general direction, without looking at him. "Someone do something to shut this man up. He's babbling on like a lunatic." The guards oblidgingly tied a gag around the man's mouth, silencing his pleas. As they dragged him out of the room, Logahn added, "And after he's locked up, see to it that his boy is... taken care of. We can't risk an outbreak of Topaz Fever." The soldiers knew very well what she meant by "taken care of", but nodded anyways. They left the room, taking care to shut the door behind them.

Sunni looked very crestfallen. "So sad," she sighed, "They sound delicious. I would've liked to try a googleberry tart. But, now we know that will never happen." Again, though, her mood quickly brightened. "Oh, well. Can't do anything about that, I suppose."

Hilos fought himself but the words spilled out. "Solvercrest."" Stated.
"Who is going to kill them?"
He closed his eyes "Someone's following them, why cant they see them? It's-" His eyes flashed open with a gasp. "It's you."

Chelsi ran in muttered how she was late and not yet dressed. Brendon sat at the bar silently looking around for anyone to talk to.

Gregory looked at the young woman who had appeared. "Who- ... How- ..." he would've stuttered, if not for the cloth around his mouth. Thanks to that, all he could do was make muffled grunting noises.

How was it possible for anyone to save James? He was in the second stage of Topaz Fever, and Logahn had ordered his son killed. Not entirely impossible to save, but it would take a miracle.


Sunni sighed. She was getting restless. The bar had a dancefloor, but the DJ was playing something that sounded like nothing but a deep-voiced giant saying Dum Dum Dum, over and over again. "Don't they ever play good music at these places?" Sunni asked, a tone of annoyance in her voice.
