Sasuke frowned as if thinking. Ino to him was a comrade, Sakura was a good friend, but Nite. Something about her made him want to spend more time with her.

"Are you alright?" Had she done something wrong. It'd been a question all through her life. During foster care that's all sh wondered as to why her parents abandoned her.

"Over here" Naruto called blasting a hole in the wall of Orochimaru's lair.
Nite felt the explosion before it happened and pushed Sasuke out of the way just in time

Sakura nodded and followed Naruto's lead with Ayumi beside her.

Sasuke cursed loudly and got up, pulling Nite up with him.

"Nite-chan!!!" Naruto greeted her, recieving and annoyed growl.

"You idiot!" She excalimed, hearing Kabuto and Orochimaru running down the hall. "You three get out of here."

Sakura looked to Ayumi and mumbled something to her. Ayumi shook her head, "Sakura, you're not ready." Sakura yelled something to her in another language and Ayumi's skin paled.

Sasuke turned around, spotting Kabuto and Orochimaru. "Shit." He cursed. He turned to Nite, "There's a passageway that goes to a basement. Take them there and keep them there until you hear a knock." He kissed her quickly before running to Kabuto and Orochimaru to hold them off.

Sasuke smiled and winked. He kissed her once before looking at Sakura and Ayumi and Naruto. "You're yourself again." Sakura said. Sasuke nodded. "Sorry for what I did to you guys. I'll make it up. Promise." Just as Sasuke turned around, Sakura stepped forward. "You're not going to fight them alone. It's time I don't get my ass kicked for once."

Nite looked around. Naruto looked pissed. She could see the traces of orang in his pupils. "I'm not restraining him. Let him kill my dad. I hope he-" Her own wods caught up with her.

Sakura suddenly yelled, "RIGHT NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS! WE FIGHT OR WE GET OUR ASSES HANDED TO US!!" A ring of blood red surrounded the emerald green in her eyes.
