Her eyes filled with tears as she tried weakly to hold them back. "N-Naruto saw you. He wouldn't lie." she whispered harshly, crying now.

"Sakura, going ther isn't going to acomplish anything but getting us all killed. Nite's a big girl. she can t care of herself."

Sasuke took a small step towards her. Nothing more. "You don't know that though."

Sakura struggled more, sobbing by now.

She stared at him coldly. "Why am I even listening to you? You're the one who left us remember? You're the on who made it clear I wasn't a good enough reson to stay!" she hissed. "You were plenty strong enough before. Why did you need more power!?" she was sobbing now and couldn't even look him in the eyes.

Naruto pulled her to him, partially tying to make her stop and partially to comfort her. "Nite will be ok until we have enough ANBU to find her." her promissed. "We won't let Sasuke get away with this."

Sakura struggled again until her legs gave in. "Sasuke could hurt her. What if he does something and we weren't there to save her?"

Sasuke sighed, "We've lost few people and we are getting weaker." He partially lied. Losing people, yes, but getting weaker? No. Their strength just grew.

"Nite's stronger than ten of me, Sakura. She'll be ok." He sighed. "Besides, Sasuke won't hurt her. He cares about her too much.

"How is that my problem?" she snappd. "I'm not one of Orochimaru's slaves like you-you brainwashd freaks~!"

Sakura looked at him with her newly bright silver eyes. "That doesn't matter! She's in danger! Sasuke isn't himself and you and I both know that better than anyone else!! We both know that the Sasuke we knew wouldn't hurt any one of us." Her face was pale but her cheeks red from crying so much. The whites of her eyes were bloodshot from the tears falling.

He sighed. "Yes, Sakura he's not himself but Nite...does something to him. If h'd wanted her dead, he'd hav killed her any number of times she was vulnerabe to him." Naruto reasoned.

Sasuke easily went over to Nite and placed his hands on her shoulders. He explained the only reason why he left was because it was the only way to keep her safe.

She sobbed more, not knowing what to say. "Wh-why?" she whispered. "Why would they be after me?"

Sasuke sighed, "Because you're ten times more Strong than Naruto and they want that kind of power." His old self showed when he started to wipe away her tears.

Sakura started yelling, "But he'll lie to her and manipulate her to get on their side!! Am I the only one that notices this!?!"

Naruto sighed. "Well if we hunt her down, the only thing we'll do is hasten both ours and her deaths!"

She stared at him in surpise. "Sasuke-kun..." she said, meekly.

Sasuke smiled like his old self again, "I'm not going to hurt you Nite, and I know that you know that."

Sakura was sobbing again, trying to speak but her words couldn't be understood. She had the feeling of guilt because she believed that this was all her fault.

Sasuke had an evil smile playing at his lips but Nite couldn't see that. She could only see that he cared. Which he really didn't for the time being.

Sasuke stood back before shutting the door quietly. A part of himself felt his heart racing, heard it in his ears, and was deeply worried. But another part was hoping something interesting would happen.
