I frown as the door shuts closed. Damn it, what if he gets stabbed again? I throw open the door and run out after him, stopping a few feet away when I see who's standing in front of him.

(ahh..i'm not sure v.v i've just been working on this paper for english at school that has been getting me worked up, so i'll probably come up with lame responses while I'm in 'recovery'. anyways, here's my attempt at a decent post)

Devin: After taking a quick check up on my mother, I trudge back downstairs and go looking for the others. Only, when I get there, everyone's gone. I sigh and head out again to see if I spot anyone. I think Selt had been down at the beach - or somewhere by the ocean - so I guess I could start heading there first.

[Gaby_Babo-Unnie:3!~]

Selt :
"So you figured it out already...?" He asks me, theres a smirk on his face i've seen before. Its one i wear when im mad at someone but i have the upper hand..when i was younger i played in chess Tournaments, yeah, lame i know but when i knew i had my opponent cornered i would always smirk like that.
His was more disgusting though...something was darker about him...
I nod, not breaking my glare with his.
The smirk doesnt go and he snorts half a laugh. "You thought your brother was your father all along?"
"Why did you give me up?" As much of a question that was it didnt sound like one when i spoke it.
Albert looks at me like hes about to answer but his eyes shift over my shoulder. I turn over mine as well and see the two others.

I step back when the man's eyes fall in my, unconsciously grabbing my gun withtrembling fingers. "I-I-I," Damn it, it's like my brain's turn to mush. Selt's Albert's son? But...

Devin: I can just start to hear the waves crashing and smell the salty air when I also hear the sounds of voices. I quicken my pace, my brow furrowing in concern.

Selt : I turn back at him. "They have nothing to do with this." Youre my opponent, not theres.
His smug smile is gone, hes serious, an older version of me is staring me down and my hands are secretly shaking.
"Who told you?" He asks.
"Scarlet." Not with out riddles but she would mention it so much.."She didn't kill me off when she had the chance you know...i must mean something to her."
"Thats where youre wrong." Albert's smirk is now in his eyes. "He hates you far more than she hates me. I molested her to have you...she could have forgotten that if you were never born. She couldn't kill me right away like she wanted because of you.."
Oddly enough this does come off as some of a surprise. A disgusting, terrifying surprise..but a surprise non the less...it also hurts...to know that i was an accident after all.
"why can't she kill us both now?..." I ask, slightly off topic.
This is when his wall comes down and i see his weakness. He honestly doesnt know..

Devin: I pant a little as I slow down. I see Selt first. And he looks surprised for some reason. The person he's facing looks strangely like himself. I stop just a few feet behind him, uncertain if I should speak now or not.

[Gaby_Babo-Unnie:3!~]

Selt : Its my turn to be the one smirking. "She can and she will."
Albert looks up at me, saddened and then he does something i don't expect. He holds out a gun and shoots me.

"Selt!" I scream. In an instant, my own gun is out and start to shoot, although I'm blinded by my nerves. I see blood but I don't know who's it is. I take a breath and put the gun to his head. The first one only went through his shoulder, but this one will finish it.

Devin: My eyes widen and I stiffen. I can't believe he just...I gulp, then drop to my knees beside Selt. "Hey," I start shakily, resting a hand on his shoulder and gently shaking him. I frown and start to panic when he doesn't react right away. Oh god, what am I gonna do?

[Cali]

Erinn had ran out of the house and as she ran to the sound of the gunshots, she caught sight of the blood. She felt herself trembling.

Selt : Its not like in the movies..i mean, getting shot. Everything is actually happening so fast im dizzy. I cough and feel a burst of burning pain in my stomach. I want to throw up but i can't. My arms are pale and my fingers trembling. When i look back up i see Albert looking at me.
"This won't stop the curse, Selty. This won't stop anyt-" This is when my hearing goes out. I see him mouthing something.
something that looks like..'but she would have finished you off worse..'
Then i see the bullet burying into his skull.

I shakily put the gun back in my sweats. I'd watched enough movies, I'd thought. Killed enough animals. And yet standing here, I can't help but feel the bile rising to my throat. His blood is on my shirt. "G-get Selt." I say as a shudder racks my body. "We need to get out of here."

thats what worries me... the thing is, out of everyone in the class im getting the best grades, but im just going to my local community college for now and my friends in the university are all getting a's and so are their classmates so it means im not up to par ..
